Dunno, never caught his position on that. I am personally in favor of stem cell reseach. Someday it will lead to a way to grow replacement organs for people who need one, me included. I had a kidney transplant and think it would be a wonderful thing if I could get a kidney that would be a perfect match, thereby negating the need for immunosupressant medication. You would not believe how costly that medication is.

for me stem cell is a hard thing to do, because i am in favor of it, but not abortions.. stressed

You can be pro-stem cell and pro-life at the same time. Embroyos can be taken from those fertilzation clinics as well as cord blood. It's sad though. The big controversy with stem cell is abortion. xp
@Ausheteru II: As far as I can recall, Bush has vetod one bill in his presidency... the bill that would INCREASE funding for stem cell research. I don't think it needs to be stated that Bush is not for stem cell. stressed
