Hmmm...
*Ice's mind raced, and for once his intelligence was to his detriment - he knew of TOO MANY things which coudl cause this - things from Malkavian inflicted Dementia down to Possession and back up again to mindbreak.*
Something is moving within you. What it is... whether self or not... that is a concern. If you dont know what caused this, it could take time to fix. Do you require help? Or will you do this alone?
*His hand rose to Leer's cheek, cupping it as he looked down at his son, expression unreadable*
You are not the weak bartender I first met. You are something much more, and you excel as it. Ask, and you shall recieve.

"If there is one thing I know of it, it is that it is of my own or has become my own....A part of me I suppose. Something that must either be dealt with and burried or realized and absorbed."
He knew at a minimum that even if it was madness it wasn't something someone had cast upon him. It was at least something caused by his own actions or the like...Or consequences there of. Still, it made him feel weak sometimes...Because he knew part of it lay in his pat..Something he thought he'd been done with long ago. The humanity of it ached in him and he wished to tear it out with tooth and nail.
"If I am as strong as I profess then this must be my own battle...Perhpas it is merely the beckonning call of something I have missed...some metamorphosis I was too blind to see before..."
He'd handle it one way or another...It had alreayd started becoming less of a pain since he'd began growing used to it. Perhaps he had simply overlooked something and a part of him was so adamant that he not do so that it had caused this ordeal...
"I wonder though...Had you some other news for me before I brought such concern to mind?"
It had seemed to Leer that his Sire had had something else to say...before Leer had mentionned his problem. And if that was indeed the case he seemed more concerned to hear what it was that need be said than his own problem. He had had a few ideas on this problem of his simply with their brief conversation.

*Bonk, dink, smack.... bonk, dink, smack....
The noise repeated over and over, rythmic as a pendulum clock, the sound echoing around the Chasm as Ice lounged depressedly in his throne, sprawled among the fur throws, one leg hung indolently over the arm, head resting on one elegant hand as his other tossed the hard ball to the floor... bonk... where it bounced into the wall... dink... and came back to his hand... smack.
Bonk, dink, smack.... bonk, dink, smack...
All was not well in paradise. In fact, all was decidedly awry. Even the most basic glance at the chasm revealed this - the ice forest above was withered, every tree turned into a weak spike of its former glory, the weedy little 'plants' crashing down irregularly as they could no longer hold their own weight. The sky was now a muddy brown instead of the star pocked black and INSIDE the chasm.... chaos reined. Everything had been smashed. Not one of Ice's sculptures had survived his artistic temper tantrum, even the beautiful renditions of Corbin had been torn asunder, a morbid mix of blood and ice spilling over the floor, his captives finally free of their awful existance, but the trauma which had caused such somehow far more concerning than the mess itself, or even the dark act that had created the poor souls in the first place.
Bonk, dink, smack.... Bonk, dink, smack....
Ice littered the floor like glass, threatening to lacerate any who dared enter the domain of the Fiend twins, and Ice himself bled copiously from wounds all up his furred legs, making no effort to heal them as his ichor like vitae mixed with that of his red blooded ex-creations on the floor. Even the war ghouls he had made lay in shattered ruin at his feet, leaving the faun as master of a broken kingdom.
Bonk, dink, smack... bonk, dink, smack....
This... was a mind beyond the edge, Ice's unseeing gaze and simple action dictating he was at present beyond the reach of even immortal beings. As the 'ball' travelled back to his hand again, this time it turned slightly, but Ice caught it easily enough by the empty eye sockets, and continued his repeated action, fangs just showing on his lip.
Bonk, dink, smack... bonk, dink, smack... bonk, dink, smack... bonk, dink, smack...*

Whistling to himself Leer stepped above the chasm...He had only recently took shape in the realm his Sire possesed when he realized something was a wry...The surroundings outside were enough. The fact that he could almost FEEL his Sire's...what was it..ire? Perhaps...He dared not guess at Ice's emotions...such would be fool-hardy and likely lead him astra rather than waiting for it to be revealed to him in some manner or not at all.
Noting the state of things and what Ice had wrought he made his way into the Chams. The repetitive noise of the "ball" rebounding off surfaces and back to what he guessed was the thrower's hand sounded eerilly as soon as he was taking in the destruction wrought by the artistic fiend he held as a father. He couldn't help but wonder why Ice had destroyed so much of his creation...moreso he hoped it was not because of a fault he, Leer, had made.
That though now taking center he followed the echoing noise of the bounce and smack of the ball until he beheld his Sire, completely ignoring the shards of glass-like ice coating the floor. But a fleshwound. Leer said nothing. Simply waited for Ice to speak. If there was to be conversation he hought it best he not start it, in case there was none to be had and the topic better left alone. His cold features sought simply the destruction about his feet as he let his black cloak flow around his shape, eerie passings of a ghost like child fleeting inside the folds. Perhaps it too hoped not to take Ice's anger on it's shoulders.

*Bonk, dink, smack.... bonk, dink, smack... Bonk, dink, smack.... bonk, dink, smack...
bonk, dink, splot...............
Ice didnt lift his gaze of change his pose, but as teh skull returned to his hand, his slender fingers convulsed inwards, shattering the item into shards from his impressive strength, not a single facial muscle even twitching as the bone fragmenst buried themselves in his hand*
Gone.
*He spoke just the one word, his voice sounding hoarse as if he'd been screaming or some such, his meaning unclear. Prehaps he meant his works, his empire, his home, or even something else. Slowly, he lifted his head and fixed his awful, crazed stare on Leer, red eyes blazing unblinkingly at his childe*

"Gone...I'm sorry I cannot say I know exactly of what you speak."
He seemed genuinely sorry he didn't comprehend as he met Ice's gaze...Perhaps such was foolish as well, but he thought it better to see the gaze cast upon him then to look away from it and not have a clue of it. He wonderred though...what was it in those eyes that made them look on him as they were...what had hapenned to make such a noticable change in things...

*Ice stared at Leer for a few seconds, and it seemed as if even he did not know what to do. Then, in a blue of motion that was inhuman, he was stood RIGHT in front of Leer, as close as it was possible to get without knocking him over, well within his personal space, one hand on the younger males' skull, the other biting into his shoulder as he stared nose to nose at Leer, words hissed between his fangs*
Gone... a gap in the Syn mind, that no one recalls. A broken chain of memory. Something has gone and we know not what....
*Of course it was clear to what he referred, though euqally NO ONE remembered the missing person to which he alluded. For Ice, Roan;s recent actions afte rthe Opherian war were devestating. As her Sire and puppet master for over half a millenia, even at HIS great age that was time enough that the sudden withdrawal of her conscious self from both HIS mentality as well as Syns had had somewhat of a knock on effect on his sanity. Hence the destruction in the chasm, the withering in reflection of his broken mind and the listlessness giving way to bursts of action. EVen Bailey was as badly effected, having shut himself away in his cathedral, refusing to leave. Ice was teetering on the brink of sheer madness which would no doubt turn into violence in time if the Tzimisce didnt regain some stability soon*

The sudden closeness was a bit of surprise but Leer hardly showed it. Physical being was smething he was used to the contact of flesh not really something that was going to bug him...the minor pain form Ice's claws in hiss houlder much the same, the pain existing but not major enough to cause any reaction.
Of course...that gap in memory that eevryone had been feeling of late...the one that apparently not even Syn new entirely the orign of. Nor did Leer...nonethelesshe felt it though..like something or someone had suddenly dissappeared and he hadn't the slightest idea why...merely knew something was amiss and that he hadn't seen the DeSeer mistress in what seemed ages...but she han't been a very big influence over him if he recalled correctly..Shehad been important..he remmeberred that...could place the name with the clan...She had been his...his what...why did it all seem to be missing... He had a glimpse at what ice was feeling in his madness but not but ataste of it really...she ahd meant more to Ice than to he...a relation of sorts too...but what...what was it?!
"I see...and yet I do not...I know of this missing time and yet I do not...I see why it is maddening and yet can not recall why..."
he was beggining to feel he knew exactly why this was all very maddening and had driven the Syn to such things as Ice and Bailey had been drawn to...When one stopped to tihnk aobut what they could not recall and had no clue WHY they could not recall it was...well...it felt like madness creeping in...

To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palms of your hand and eternity in an hour...
WHY CANT I REMEMBER?!
*Ice flung Leer from himself, spinning into another angry affront on his immediate surrounds, and entire wall crashing to the ground as his powerful might was brought to bear on it through his slender body, the sound of snapping bone echoing even above the crashing ice as his forearm bone suddenly jutted through his wrist flesh, but he barely seemed to notice*
They say it is easier to forgive an enemy than a friend... who was this that I cannot let go such wrath?
*The last few words were hissed sibilant sounds, accompanied by Ice stalking to Leer, reaching down to grab him once more and THIS time the light in his eyes was a familiar one - all consuming hunger. It had been two weeks since Roan's disappearance, chances were... he'd not eaten ONCE since*

He felt himself suddenly an bodilly flun from his Sire's arms,s ent flying through the air and impacting the icy wall behind him. The surprise was a bit more evident this time...He had NOT expected that, but the pain was something he wa, once more, accustom to and not really worth showing.
"If I knew any more than you would I not tell you?"
And when it came down to the bone that was the turth of it. If he knew Leer would have said, but he didn't..and that was the Hell of it...he was beggining to feel the same sort of thing...That he he knew something was missing...someone it seemed...but not who nor why...It was beginning to consume agood portion of his thoughts already before he wassnatched back into Ice's grasp and met with the glare of of beastial hunger...that quickly became the occupancy of his mind...If Ice had not fed in as much time s it showed through in his gaze this could wind up a very dire situation...Leer was not opposed to letting Ice take his fill on a normal given day if he needed a drink but the sort of hunger that he was seeing wasn't the kind Leer wated to offer himself to...
"Perhaps you would like to join me in a hunt tonight? Perhaps I should go grab someone for you?"
He wasn't sure which would be a better option to offer so he gave both...so long as he didn't take Ice's full hunger form his own blood he was content...It was clear in Leer's own cold, blue eyes and slihtly submissive posture that he'd do what he could to help, tha he'd give Ice his own blood if deemed necesarry but not all of it...he'd let Ice take him to the verge of frenzy if necesarry, but he wanted to preserve himself as well.

*Ice stared at Leer blankly, lips slightly parted, cold breath hissing between them as the creature that was Ice, and the Beast that was so similar both fought for dominance for a few seconds... and then someone came out on top. Red eyes glared down at Leer, then he slowly let go*
Cainite. No humans. The oldest... strongest you can find...
*It took effot to bite the words out, and double that to turn away and leave Leer's side, his lethal tail smashing against the floor as he gave the younger Tzimisce time to leave before his hunger fully overcame him*

Leer's cloak swirled about him as he turned and prepared tot ake to the outside world..determined to bring back the catch of the day...and a large one at that. He knew Ice needed it...besides...the hunt was always omething he relished...a mass of them in one night would leave him on a sort of high and bloodlust...Quite enjoyable...
Sadly Durem was not of the strongest of the strong pickings..save for maybet he DeSeer clan...but crossing them would be a fool's labor when he was looking for someone to drink...he was almost sre they'd see such a "sin" as unfrgivabe" and rush to their brother's aid ina manner most...uncivil. He'd have to deal with the best he could find.
Sometime later Leer returned to the chasm. he himself felt enraptured upon the hunts he'd taken... afew of his own drinks and kills...diableries and such to chalk up for the night adding to it. Yes, he'd taken a little time for his own pleasures, but it had seemed necesarry...and he'd left the best of his finds for his Sire..though alone they weren't impressive he hope dthat by bringing many he could colectively gain something form them...They weren't exactly your common catiffs, but none as strong as the Anons...
He trod carefully back to the room he'd found his Sire in, his cloak now a bundle over hiss houlder. Multiple bodies squirmed within it ina delicious sort of movement that made Leer wish he could have the rest of them...Wished he could enjoy himself a bit longer...He'd have to take care of that later though...
As he approached ice once more he knealed and lay out the blakc mass of fleshy cloak he'd made for himself, a thig coat of blood along it as three...no, four bound Cainite males tumbled to the floor with a gentle thump, each bound by their own bones at the wrist and ankle and knee. Leer himself stayed in his submissive stance at their heads.
"They're not as close to Caine's original line as I had hoped to find but after you finish with them you ay take your share of mine to temporarilly quell your thirst forthe better of the breed."

*Ice, when he wasnt TRYING, was rather large in his faun form. About 7ft or so large, due to the extra bone grafted into his body to allow such a form. And right now, he was too unfocused to try anything. And so it was a7ft bone riddled giant of a figure that bowled Leer over as Ice pounced on the first of the captives, making short work of all four. In all likelyhood, their struggles were what made Ice zone in on them first, whereas Leer's submissive stance moved him down the prey list despite the fact the younger Tzimi had the better vitae.
As was more common in older cainites, especially the Tzimisce, Ice didnt just take blood, but some flesh as well, bolstering his body with disturbingly large bites into the still 'living' forms of his meal. But when he was done, he seemed much more himself, his control somewhat restored as he stood up, red eyes fading back to pink as he looked at Leer, then slumped back over to his throne and fell onto it, beckoning to his childe*
I always accused you of being smarter than your years, let us see it in practice. Two pints of your blood, and we shall talk. This has something to do with the bloody DeSeer branch, what say we shake things up a little?

"Then talk we shall."
Leer nodded, standing and placing his clawd hands against his chest. the flesh sinking into flesh he pulled free several ribs with horrid ease. Quickly he took to them with a potter's ease and shaped them intoa stemmed glass. In style similar to the Chalice on his back with just enough capacity for the two pints of blood he drew from his wrist after he finished his work. Making sure all ihs wounds were checked and hisb ody in perfection he stepped before Ice and presented the two pints of blood to him with both hands, a grin spread over his features as he reworked some of the extra bone and fleshmass on his body to keep his torso solid instead of gelatinous.
"What did you have in mind?"

*accepting the chalice as if what Leer had done was perfectly normal, Ice sipped at the poten vitae within, visibly calming and relaxing as he drained the cup, twin lines of blood marking the edges of his mouth as he leered dangerously, the black glimmer of mischief showing as he gestured Leer to find somewhere to sit*
Whatever it is those DeSeer reprobates have done now... lets make THEM feel the burn instead. Lets see... the second one... called General but I dont recall him passing the necessary training, right? Bring him to me Leer. ANYway you can, preferably immobilised. Yes, we'll deal with the younger one, and sure as summer follows spring, the older one is boudn to show up also. Then we'll have some real fun.
Bring me Dagoth, Leer. Its time we sent him to the Fang. Tiem he EARNED his spurs... heh heh....
