Craig was still somewhat in a foul mood as he brought back the chair. He stood in the hall as he saw Kyrin hugging the new guy. What the hell!? Craig had liked Kyrin for a long time, And now this guy comes and is instantly her friend!? Craig sighed and resolved to tell Kyrin that night. He set the chair down in the room and leaned against the doorframe, in worse of a mood then before.
Kyrin smiled and stepped back from James, looking at him, "Thank you." She said with a smile. "Did you ever get to write like you wanted to?"

James shook his head, looking down. "I was more or less recruited against my will into my father's faction. I am working on that, though. Or I was, until your friend sucked me into her lab." He smiled. "Its alright, though. Seeing you again has been a plus."

Kyrin frowned, "I'm sorry, Jamie." She said, "Ah, and the girl with the lab would be my cousin." Noticing that Craig had brought the chair, Kyrin smiled and thanked him. Settling down she said, "Well, I'm sure you don't rightly want to stay over there with them." She said 'them' with a scowl as she looked at Draven and Daren.

"Not particularly. They're not very entertaining." He shrugged. "Are you going to keep me here anyways?" He didn't put it past her to keep him in this room against his will. He shrugged his coat back on, hands slipping into his pockets, and settled to standing comfortably.

Kyrin shook her head, "No, I won't keep you here." She smiled at him, "But I wouldn't mind if you stayed. I just renovated the last room on the second floor, if you like."
At hearing Ky's words, Craig became even more anxious to tell her that he loved her. He didn't want this younger man to come in and take her away from him. The man's looks rivaled his own, even though it hurt him to admit it.
Kyrin looked over at Daren and Draven, who'd remained silent through this exchange and yawned, "I'm tired, so I'm going to deal with you two in the morning." She turned to the men standing guard and said, "You'll watch them for the night, I'll send the other two in a moment." The men nodded. They would be able to keep the two smaller men in check without any trouble.

"Beings as I have nowhere else to go at the moment, and the company is both interesting and exceptional, I would love to stay, at least overnight." He had most defintiely noticed Craig's disapproval, and he appreciated it, though he didn't want to enter himself in a lover's quarrel between the two. "Provided, of course, that no one else minds." He added as a side note, looking quickly at Craig.

Kyrin caught James' gaze and looked throughly confused. "I'm sure no one else is going to care," She said quietly as she got up and led James from the room, "Much less Craig." The big men closed the the door to hold Draven and Daren in.
Craig's shoulders dropped slightly, almost not visibly, as he lowered his eyes and said, "Why would I care?"

"I apologize. I was under the impression, from the way you treat each other, that you were much more intimately involved." He face darkened almost impreceptively. "In that case, however, I would love to stay here." He smiled to them both, honestly regretting his assumption.

Craig's face turned slightly red, a little bit from embarassment and a little bit from anger. He choose to say nothing.
Craig blushed deeper, however, when Kyrin laughed and placed her hand on his arm. "It's okay Craig." She said, with a smile. She then turned back to Jamie and told him where his room would be, welcoming him to stay as long as he wanted.

He looked to Craig. "I really am sorry for making that assumption." He cast his glance back to Kyrin and thanked her again for the room. "I would feel bad, though, staying here without doing anything in return. I have nothing but what I carry with me, but I can offer my services to your group, if need be."

Kyrin looked up at Craig, "Why don't you check on Izzy?" She said, kindly, "And maybe you can tell the other two men where their posts are for the night?"
Craig nodded, but refused to look at Jamie, "Can I talk to you later?" He asked, in a very low voice. When Kyrin nodded, he hugged her quickly and went to check on Izzy in the ballroom.
Once Craig had left Kyrin said, "You want to help my mafia? I thought you hated mafias." She was a little shocked.

"I do. But I would feel bad hijacking a room and giving nothing back in return." James had watched their interaction with the slightest hint of amusement. If they were not intimate before, they were certainly headed in the direction of being so.

Kyrin and James talked for a little while, before Ky showed him to his room. It was a few doors down from Izzy's on the second floor. The room was rather large, with a walk in closet, a king size bed, a writing desk complete with chair, a book shelf, a large mirror, and drawers for clothing.
Leaving James in the room, Kyrin made her way to her own so that she could change. She slipped on a new tank top and sweat and made her way back downstairs to talk to Craig. She found him in the entry way.
The two talked for a little over an hour before making their way upstairs. Craig didn't live at the mansion and had never stayed there before, but after feeling threatend by James he had decided to confess to Kyrin. They reached Kyrin's room and Craig sighed. He took off his jacket and set it on the chair where Ky usually set her's and sat on her bed.

James wandered around, opening every drawer and door in the room, examining them. He put his jacket in the closet, removing its contents and setting them on a bedside table, setting his mp3 player and his phone to charge, grateful that he had tucked the chargers into his jacket pockets. The gun he sat beside his pillow. He pulled off his button down shirt, revealing a faded black tshirt with the logo of a long forgotten band emblazoned on the front, and dropped his slender body on the bed. He grabbed his phone and peered at it, silently cursing the identity of every caller he had ignored. He glared at it for a few seconds more, then took his music player and picked a song, turning the volume up loud and donning his headphones. A half hour later, he was sound asleep, the music still playing.

A few hours later, Izzy awoke inside the ballroom, finding it still brightly lit and completely empty. Clutching her stuff wolf close, she rolled out of the cot and trotted towards the stairs, as usual, and up to Kyrin's room. Yawning, she opened the door and stepped inside, not immediately aware of the fact that Kyrin wasn't exactly alone. It didnt take long though for Izzy's vision to adjust to the darkness and for her to recognize Craig lying in bed with Kyrin.
"...Why are you in my spot, Craig?" Izzy asked, sounding slightly sad. Tilting her head to one side and stating matter-of-factly, she added, "You're not wearing any clothes." She slightly shuffled her feet as she walked up beside Kyrin's side of the bed, attempting to join her under the covers. Lifting the blanket, Izzy looked underneath and said to Kyrin bluntly, "You're not wearing any either"
