"Asher would be his vain self and I would probably still wander the earth, searching for something." She shook her head, ceasing to think of such things. They had a family with each other, as weird as it was and they were expecting.
She smiled. "If Jay would like, I can whip something up for those bruises."

"sure, I'm gonna take a shower...wait...Asher was vain?" Jay blinked in surprise, Asher didn't seem like the type to be vain to him, or he was just overly oblivious. He looked to Merethist, who was under his bed, being nosy.
He reached under a grabbing a bunch of his ribbons gently tugged him up. Merethist held a thick red album in his arms. He giggled and throwing his arms out let the album go by accident so it fell to the bed, pictures scattering everywhere.
"Mere..." he groaned softly, putting the Undera down in Asher's lap as he bent over the bed picking up the Polaroid snaps. It was Jay from birth up until he was sixteen with all the people that had affected his life. Reuben, his family, his uncle, Koe, Makena and Harlequin. And at the back were the pictures he had taken with Asher and Raven and the Undera's he had printed them off a few months back.

Asher squirmed but was glad Merethist was set in his lap. "I have no comment."
Raven giggled. "Yes. I've heard he was a little vain about his looks. Still is even if it's less noticeable."

Jay set about putting his photos back in his album, looking through his photos as he did so. He looked up at Asher and smiled.
"hey it's our first date pictures!" he said happily, holding the snaps up. Merethist blinked up at Asher and giggled.
"Sher a happy-a-happy now Ay back!"

Asher smiled and glanced at the pictures. He did look rather vain...if not protective in the pictures with a hint what do you want in his expression...otherwise he held this blank look.
Raven smiled. "Go shower and I get something for those bruises." With that she left for downstairs to actually make something for them.

Jay got up and kissing Asher on the cheek went into the bathroom. He opted for a bath and when it was full of hot, lavender scented water he got in and thought, thought about his uncles attack. His gray eyes clouded painfully as they remembered the pain and feelings he went through.
"it's not...for you...to judge..." he whispered almost inaudibly, tears spilling down his cheeks as his bruised body was racked with sobs. He sank lower in the water, so his mouth and chin was submerged, his shoulder length hair pooling around him on the water.

Asher curled on the bed, waiting for him to get done.
Raven, being downstairs, was mixing up different ingrediants until it was a thick poltice. If anything, it would help with his aches and pains...

Jay got out the bath finally, after washing his face. He looked tired in the mirror as he looked at himself and he really wanted to sleep, rubbing his eyes with the backs of his hand he dressed into a pair of loose fitting stripy pajama bottoms and slung a towel over his shoulders for his damp hair.
He studied his bruising in the mirror, it wasn't as sore as when he first got home. He was in agony then, every breath hurt him badly. there were numerous large bruises on his side, stomach and chest from where his uncle had kicked him around and his arms had bruises from where he was rough-handled and punched. He had cuts on his fingers, hands and face from trying to stop his uncle from hacking his hair short. He sighed and went to sit on the ebd with Asher, snuggling close to his lover.

Asher held him close to him, seemingly serene. A vampire's trick. He showed nothing in his expression. His mind was torn into shreds. This was a second time something happened to Jay and he couldn't do anything to prevent it.
Asher's conscious warred with itself.

Jay shut his eyes and curled up almost like a kitten, clignignt o Asher's chest for dear life, thoguh his grip was gentle. He didn't want to be away from Asher, but he was too tired to stay awake.
"love you" he murmured softly, before he slipped into a heavy sleep. EVen after all his whining and complaining, Jay was devasted his hair was shorter. He loved how it could be briaded or brushed and everyone seemed to love the fact he kept the silvery-blonde strands long. It was a mark to Koe, and now it was gone. He wasn't upset about that, more upset that he knew Asher and Raven would be feeling awful that nothing could be done to help him when it happened. He knew, though he didn't know why, that Asher was hiding his feelings. It was in his eyes and his gestures, they always seemed over calculated when he was being false.

Merethist was watching Raven in the kitchen, blowing spit bubbles out of boredom. HIs pink eyes were half closed and dull to signify his feelings further and he was slouched over the breakfast bar seats like a towel would over a rail.
"kuuuu~"

Jay was sat in his afternoon realism class, chewing on a HB pencil as he stared down at his picture of the object placed on his desk. He had recieved an assortment of shells and a starfish and was currently rearranging them into a nice state.
Neo sat beside him, diligently shading his drawing of a bouquet of flowers. Jay was bored and even if he was nearing his final year in college, he still was impatient to leave.

Raven was sitting in the living room, watching tv. The underas had managed to curl about her, also watching tv. So far nothing out of the ordinary was happening. Asher was catnapping in a chair, still as a statue.
The next thing she knew, there was sharp pains in forms of contractions that ripped through her, tearing cries from her throat and startling everyone else. Julianna latched onto Dyvim and Merethist, silent but startled.
Dyvim stroked Julie's arm gently. Asher moved to Raven's side. "What happened?"
"Pain...owies..." She pouted and tried not to sniffle because of the pain. More pain and she gritted her teeth. Julianna glanced up. "Raven is okay?"
Raven shook her head, looking to Asher. "I think it's time..." she whimpered. Asher's face paled (if that was possible for a master vampire) and he was up in a flash, helping her move carefully to the front of the house. He was sure the underas would want to see the babies and they were family.
They managed to get the car and start off after Asher fetched the underas and placed them in the back. Now how to get Jay there since Asher forgot his cell phone...
At the hospital, Asher was trying his best not to rip people's heads off as Raven sat in a wheel chair whimpering from the contractions and pressure. A nurse wheeled her to a room, Asher in tow as he used the hospital phone to call Jay's cell phone. "Jay?"

Jay started when the ringtone from his cell filled the silent room, drawign all attention to him. He had given Asher and Raven strict rules on phoning him in school so it must have been important, he grabbed his cell and flipped it up. Holding it up to his ear.
Much to the detest of the teacher.
The teacher snatched his phone away and snapped it shut, earning a glare from Jay.
"hey that could have been important!"
"not as important as this project is to your final grade!"
"who cares about that?!"
Jay bit his lip, worried now, as he watched his phone be angrily sutffed into his teachers bag at the desk. He sat down, a venomous glare glittering in his gray eyes, thoguh he resumed to continue work. He was too distracted now.

Merethist was silent,wide eyed and curious in the hospital. Though he knew better than to go wandering about. He simply stayed hidden under the seats in reception.

With Ravn in the room, she was now trying to block out the dull pounding of the needle in her hands. She was used to needles but the feel of it in her skin for longer periods of time was just causing her discomfort. Montiors for her heart, babys' heart, blood pressure, everything was hooked up to her and her eyes were closed as she concentrated on blocking the pain out. A nurse had left to get her something to help relieve some of the pain.
Dyvim growled softly as one nurse stared at him. He didn't like them staring but what could he do? Julianna murred softly and sat beside Merethist.
Asher cursed when the phone had been picked up but disconnected again. Why didn't Jay answer? He grumbled a bit. He didn't want to leave Raven's side...but he didn't want his lover and boyfriend missing the birth either. They were his children too.
Asher sent an apologetic look to them. Neo was in class with him, so maybe Asher could get him to help with the underas. With that in mind, Asher left, praying she would deliver until they returned.
With that, he made a mad dash for the car and to the school, running (more like flying!) to Jay's classroom and shoving the door open. He ignored the looks the class and the teacher gave him and looked to Jay. "Raven's at the hospital."

Jay watched the door bang back on it's hinges when Asher flung it open, he stood up and the first thing he said was.
"see I told you it was important!" to the teacher, Neo, sensing he was needed packed his things away aswell. The teacher snapped from her daze and started shouting at the two.
"this is not proper conduct! I haven't given you permission to leave yet! not until I get a proper explanation!" she yelled angrily, as Jay strode past her and snatched his cell from her bag.
"fine! Raven is giving birth to a child, and i'm responsible for it along with Asher" Jay hissed, a little smirk flitting across his features. Neo started laughing behind his hand, Jay was finally dishing out what he deserved to dish out.
Jay grabbed Asher's and Neo's hands and led them out of the now startled classroom, he tossed his cellphone to Neo who caught it.
"contact Nish and tell him to alert everyone that Raven's going to give birth" he said softly, slipping into his normal attitude range. He smiled at Asher, who looked thoroughly dishevelled and kissed the vampire on the cheek.
"thanks for getting me, now lets hurry" he said and took off in a run towards the car park, Neo jogging behind with his eyes fixed on Jay's cell.

Merethist was lying on his stomach, looking thoroughly annoyed at all the stares. For the first time since he hatched he hissed at a man who kept staring distastefully at him. His little canines' poking out and his pink eyes growing sharp in hate.
To anyone who didn;'t usually know Merethist he would have looked daunting, but he was the one who felt daunted.
