((Chuh... Are you insulting me? Miss TUBE TOP!? evil razz Oh, I'm sire you'd absolutely love to know. Sho-kins is on last I check about a minute or two ago. razz ))
Rain changed in the cockpit of Eden. Reemerging from inside, she closed the hatch and made her way down. She carried the invalid gown in one arm. The black longsleeved shirt she still had on, but since it, too, reminded her of the Foundation, she'd fix something about it.
She stopped momentarily in front of Mercury, cocking her head to the side. I wonder what he's doing in there... she pondered before heading back to Kayako. Sitting, down she realized something. "I forgot my guitar!" she said. She shot up and jogged back to Eden.
((Snaps.. I just realized that!! O__O))

Then Nic turned to face Kayako "If I leave will you tell Rue that I'm sorry and it was better this way...but not tell him where or when I left?" Nic asked with a more serious tone then she was used to. Then handing her a ring "Give this to him for me..." and with that Nic took off running.

Kayako looked away, over at Mercury and Rain scrambling out of Eden.
So many things still going on.....

Rain grabbed her guitar and lugged it out of the cockpit. She gave a little pat to Eden because she felt like it, and hopped down for the third time. She carried it carefully and once again sat down next to Kayako at the very cave entrance. Staring at the sleaves of her black undershirt, she turned to Kayako. "You have anything that cuts?" she asked.

Kayako handed Rain a little pocket kinfe she kept in her bag.

Rain took the knife from Kayako, nodding her thanks. She took her arms out of the sleeves and slipped the shirt out from under her dress. She took the knife and began to cut at the left sleeve. Soon enough, it severed from the shirt. She slipped the cut sleeve onto her arm so it covered it from about mid-upperarm to about mid-lower arm,
"So you have anything to burn this stuff with?" she then asked her as she handed Kayako back the knife.

Kayako stared at her for a minute before handing her a lighter.
"Careful with that...." she said "Don't burn yourself....or me for that matter."

Rain took the lighter and walked out towards the middle of the entrance. Placing the invalid gown and black shirt in a pile on the ground, she lit the lighter. Crouching, she put the flames to the clothes, and slowly they egnited.
She stopped the flame and resumed her spot next to Kayako. She returned the lighter to her, picked up her guitar, and began to play again. Her eyes stayed on the burning clothes the entire time.

The cold night's moon was the only light this evening in Warusawa. Rue was close to the Voderak hanger where the Rehk was docked. He had to say his "last goodbye" to everyone, but didn't want to take too much time. He hid behind a container of some kind of weapon, he assumed. Leaving the ref board there, Rue climbed to the top of the container to survey the area.
"Everything look clear...Looks like i'll have to make a break for it."
Rue jumped down and darted from container to container. At the last container he stopped and looked again at the Rehk, making sure the path was clear.

As morning came, light shined through the opening in the cave, waking the trio that had been sleeping peacefully and snuggily inside their LFOs. Outside, a single noise could be heard; a noise which, strangly enough, sounded like agrivated grumbling.
"Hey!! Come down here you-OUCH!! Arrrgh, come back! Stop flying so high!!"
On a tree branch above the group's new hideout, Kayako stood with her arms out above her, apparently trying to catch a small skyfish, who in turn was twisting out of her grasp in a tauntful fashion.
"Get-eh! Back-hey! Heeere you little-WAAAAAAAAH!!!!"
A thud.
After a moment of shuffling, the purple-haired girl stood up out of a patch of tall grass, and holding her head with a grimace. Hazily she shook her hand at the sky, as the tiny skyfish flew around in circles near the top of the tree. Mumbling in an annoyed fashion, Kayako wobbled over to the cave entreance before falling over flat on her face.

Rain came out and watched Kayako's antics with her arms behind her back. She cocked her head to the side and watched the skyfish fly away. "What are those?" she asked. "I'm sure I've seen them somewhere before..."
Now Rain wanted to get the attention of the skyfish. She walked to a nearby tree and began to climb up it. She grabbed a branch and hauled herself up.

"It's.....a skyfish. Tricky b*****d...." Kayako mumbled from her postion on the ground.
In the tree, the skyfish dived down and circled Rain, interested in the appearence of this new visitor.

Rain stopped at the highest branch she could reach. Turning around a little, she sat down on it. Her head turned every which way, watching the skyfish circle her. She lifted her arm and held out her hand, hoping the creature would land on it.

The skyfish twirled overhead, doing flips in the air. After a sharp turn over Rain's branch, it slowely perched itself on the end of her arm, studying her with interest.

Something was very wrong.
Where there should have been a silver LFO and two still-resting pilots, one of them was missing completely....along with siad LFO.
Gray.
Instead, a note lay upon the ground, hastily scribbled.
Rain, Kayako....
Good luck. I...we... can't stay any longer;
I shouldn't. If that driver comes to life....It's feeling really strange, and...well... I don't want to wind up harming either of you if it takes me over.
Kayako, I'm sorry, and these words will never be enough...It was my fualt this all happened.
Mercury and I are going to seek Xellien, and maybe I'll find a cure for this insanity....
...Maybe...

A large set of massive footprints then led over towards the cave mouth.

Several miles away, a certian silver LFO knived through the early morning clouds, darting about deftly now that it was at full power.
Gary glanced sadly at the controlls, occasionaly looking back at the ever-fading location, the cave.
Kayako...
Gray's head drooped with a guilty weight.
"Mercury....did I make the right move....?I...Just don't know; but... I'm a danger to them, I shouldn't-"
Should you? That which is this thinks not.
Gray's eyes opened wide and he looked about, supised-this was the first time He'd heard Mercury so clearly..
"...What? Why...."
That, which is you-it knows. You; which is, you need her.
Gray suddenly felt slightly irratitated.
"No,No I don't....I, This is my....problem...."
The words where hollow, though.
That, what is who you are-does. It was not this one, who drove you to battle with that Black unit earlier, nor was it all the work of Xellien's creation. No, That which was, the strength....that was you. You desired it, you wished it...
Gray suddenly felt a massive longing, a desire to give it up....
Sinec the escape from Triga untill now, he'd fled alone, for fear of the Driver's munipulations; but now that he had a choice-now that he didn't need be alone any longer....
Could he truly let go....? It'd been so long, had he forgotten how to think with his heart, maybe, and not his head or the twisted driver?
"...I..."
Gray's hands gripped the controls tightly as he wrestled with what was perhaps the greatest dilema he'd ever faced...
"I...Want, I want to....."
I don't want to run anymore!
Gray closed his eyes, his emotions finnaly getting through to him. He'd at last achived what he needed for so long, and yet he was about to throw it away?!
"I'm an idiot. Mercury....Thanks..."
Gray siad slowly, looking up with a long-abscent glow back in his eyes.
Yanking on the Controlls, Gray sent Mercury into a wide U turn, arcing back towards the distant glade.
We're going back...
