"Because I want to help. Anyone who has to deal with my yami is in need of help." Marik said glancing back at the tablet.
Vairocana sighed as she walked up to her apartment. Yami Marik had gone to check out of the hotel so she was on her own for a good fifteen minutes. Vairocana opened her apartment door and walked in slumping down at the kitchen table. 'I swear I'm not going to live through this day.' Vairocana thought as she got up turning a stove burner on and placing a teapot on it. "Maybe some hot chocolate will cheer me up. I wonder what's on tv."
Yami Marik had finished checking out of the hotel and was walking towards Vairocana's apartment. Passing by the museum he glanced inside and saw who he thought was Marik. 'What the! He is here!' Yami Marik picked up his pace as he walked by the museum not wanting any confrontations at the moment. 'Hm.. Now I have another problem on my hands.'

she started laughing "true but i needed help long before he showed up...and um there he goes...." she points as yami marik just disappears around the corner "it seems like he wants to avoid you.... and i seemed to have gotten on his last nervs earlier for protecting someone...." she glanced back at the tablet as well and her hair moved slightly to reveal a black bruise around her throught "i'll make him pay for thinking he can tell me what to do and expect me to always listen, he harms a hair on that girl and i will kill him..." she stood up and smiled at marik "by the way my name is Easarue, it may not look like it from my pail complection but i am half egyptain.....hehehe its hard having fair skin and trying to tan...." she was trying to lighten the conversation a little bit " that' beside the point.....your no were strong enough to confront him on your own, you'll need my help to get your rod and things back.... my millinum armband can sheild us against his rods power for some time....but as weak as i am i can't keep it up as long as i used to..." she lowered her head "i feel useless against him" she gently toutched her neck feeling the bruise

Vairocana had gotten bored waiting for Yami Marik so she left a note on the door telling him the key was under the mat and had run to the museum. "I haven't been their in so long and the Egyptian exhibit is finally back in! Maybe I can find something on my tiara!"
Yami Marik sighed as he looked up at the building Vairocana lived at. "Hn. Such a expensive apartment building how can she afford it?"
Vairocana pushed open the door to the museum and paid for her ticket. Hurrying to the Egyptian exhibit she stopped in mid step when she saw Easarue and Marik. "E-E-Easarue? I didn't expect to meet you here." Vaircana's eyes slid over to Marik. Taking a step back she clutched her shoulder in pain. 'What- What's going on?' Looking back up she saw Marik walking towards her before she fell forward onto her knees.
"Are you alright?" Marik said as he walked towards Vairocana who was now kneeling on the floor gasping for breath. She suddenly looked up at him hatred in her eyes. "Wha-"
"I remember you." She growled her tiara glowing.

Her milinum item began to glow as Miruie came out
" it seems that the little one remembers you......" she stared at veronica
"or perhaps veronica, if that is you, mabey your looking at Maliks hikari....."she turned to marik " my name is Miruie, i am Easarue's Yami......" miruie walked over to veronica and helped her on her feet "veronica is Easarue's first friend..... for some reason she chose to protect her until your Yami threatened to do her harm if Easarue ever got in the way....... that struck my nerve, i'll get him back........."

Vairocana looked at Miruie. "He won't be bugging Easarue with anything else anymore. I made a deal with him. He keeps the law off my back and I do the dirty work."
Marik blinked in confusion. "What do you mean keep the law off your back? And why are you mad at me?"
"The part with the police is none of your concern Marik. As to why I'm mad at you? It seems Battle City has slipped your mind. I was in Egypt and had the Millennium Tiara on. You came up to me and tried to take it from me. I refused. Then you pulled out the Millennium Rod and tried to take over my mind. It didn't end so well. I still have the scar from it!" Vairocana moved her sleeve up her arm to reveal a thin white line that ran from the back of her wrist to her elbow. "That's where you cut me with the Millennium Rod. If the spirit in the Tiara hadn't thrown you back I would have killed you. I'll never forgive what you did to me. How you got into my mind for a minute and found secrets that were best kept under lock."
"Oh yes I remember now." Marik said staring at Vairocana. "I'm sorry for what I've done but I guess my apology won't do because you already stated you won't forgive me. You see I don't do those things anymore so I'm glad to say that after Battle City I've had a clean record."
Vairocana glared at Marik and then turned to Miruie. "I'll see you later. I have to go make sure that Yami Marik hasn't destroyed my apartment." Vairocana said with a sigh and then walked out of the museum. 'I'll visit it again tomorrow.'
Yami Marik had found the note stuck to the door telling him where the key was. Unlocking the apartment he headed towards the living room and sat down on the couch dropping his bags on the floor. Grabbing the remote of the tv he began to flick through the different stations.

Miruie shook her head "i hope she'll eventually warm up to you......."she then smiled at Marik "hmmm speaking of battle city, i remember the fight between your yami and yugi...it was quite a duel....." she walked up to the stone tablet
"5 thousand yaers ago, i was an oridnary pesant who challenged the Pharoh to a duel. i wanted to prove to him that i was more than just a lowly servant. i had dreams, wishes, and hopes just like he did.....i almost won, but unfortunetly i lost....and i was banished......" she lowered her head "mabey he was right all those years ago, mabey i was just a lowly pesant......i'm just as useless as i was all those years ago..." she gently toutched the glass
Easarue came back out, her head still lowered "useless.....nothing......" a tear slid down her cheak

"You're not useless." Marik said walking over to her. "Just by having the courage alone to challenge the pharaoh is enough to prove you're somebody."
Vairocana came home to find Yami Marik watching tv. "Good my apartment is in one piece." Vairocana said before sitting on a chair next to the couch.

she looked at him "i had the courage yes, but i didn't have the strength to back it up...."she sighed "courage alone can't win you battles....i found that out the hard way....." a small smile appeared on her face "but you are right.... i'm not useless i just have to get stronger......."

Marik smiled at her. "I know you can get stronger." He said. 'Though I hope you don't send the pharaoh to the shadow realm.'
Vairocana had gotten bored watching Yami Marik flip through the tv stations. Nothing interesting was odd and she had taken to sleeping on the chair. Her head was on one arm rest while her legs dangled over the other.
Yami Marik turned off the tv a few minutes after Vairocana fell asleep. Glancing at her and then the door he stood up. Walking over to Vairocana he touched the Tiara and felt a shock run through his hand and up his arm. Yanking his arm back with an angry hiss he grabbed a rag from the kitchen and touched the tiara again. Not feeling anything he carefully took it off Vairocana's head and walked out the door. 'Time to show a thief what possession this girl was carrying.' Making sure not to walk past the museum Yami Marik began to search for Bakura.

she looked at him again "don't worry i wont do anything horrid to him, i just want to get my point across...." she looked out the museium doors "i don't trust your yami.....i'm sure he wants that milinuim item of hers for the most part....."

Yami Marik headed back towards the area he had first ran into Yami Bakura. "If he's not there its going to be harder than heck to find him in this city."
Vairocana groaned as she woke up. Sitting up she looked around not seeing Yami Marik. "Hn. Must have left." Vairocana stood up and headed towards the bathroom. "Guess I'll take a shower." Glancing in the mirror Vairocana gave a shout. "He took my Tiara!" Growling Vairocana decided to find him after taking a shower and show him what happens when you messed with the wrong girl. "He's going to pay." Vairocana growled.

she frowned "we need to find your Yami again...besides i have a score to settle with him..." she cracked her knuckles as she gave Marik a miscevious smirk "i'm good at tracking people....." she snickered

Yami Marik was walking back down the hallway towards Vairocana's apartment after an unsuccessful search for Yami Bakura. "Hn. She's probably still asleep." He said as he opened the door only to be met with a fist to his nose.
"How dare you!" Vairocana growled grabbing the collar of his shirt and yanking him into the apartment closing the door. Throwing him into a counter Vairocana grabbed her Tiara from his grasp. "You tried to steal my Tiara didn't you?"
Yami Marik growled as he stood up right. "Your only half right, my dear. I took it yes but I wasn't going to steal it."
"Than explain why you took off with it! Where'd you go with it hm? Taking without permission is stealing. Or did you not know that!" Vairocana said lunging at him.
Yami Marik side stepped Vairocana's attack and watched as she skidded to a halt and spun around to glare at him. "Let's just say I thought someone would be interested in seeing it."
"You're down right lucky I need to avoid the cops for right now otherwise I'd kill you!" Vairocana said storming into her bedroom.
