Feeling thoroughly refreshed and suitably alive, Seamus made his way back into the bedroom. The huddled form in the midst of Orpheus' bed showed that the other boy was still asleep, even after his embarassing rant at the wildlife.
Hmm....now how to wake him up.
Most of his friends had siblings, and experienced sadistic pleasure in relating stories on how they woke up their younger brothers and sisters, through use of water balloons, animal life, or even something simple like banging on the door while blasting "Vamos a La Playa" on a boombox.
He should probably save those sorts of things until he knew that Orpheus could take a joke.
Seamus cracked his knuckles and decided to go about this the old fashioned way: shaking.
He grabbed the boy's shoulders, began to shake him and loudly said, "Yo, Orpheus, time to rise and shine! Wakey wakey eggs and bakey!"
((Oh yeah, and Ayemi? This happened not only once, but at least THREE times! So yeah. ^-^ ))

Even with this, it was several moments before Orpheus even began to wake up. He screwed his eyes tight shut after a brief moment's glimpse of the other, and hastilly slipped out of the other's grasp and slithered under several layers of blankets so that his entire body was completely covered... other than his feet. He was, after all, quite tall (even if he was only fifteen.

Gabriel waited patiently for Kindred to finish brushing his teeth. Was that his toothpaste? Oh well. Better his than Liam's, he supposed. And a good thing Kindred had grabbed toothpaste, too, and not one of the many other creams he'd seen. Ew, how gross would THAT have been? Grinning, he off-handedly waved a hand towards the sink. "You did grab toothpaste, right?" He shot towards him playfully, anticipating the look of dread that would come onto Kindred's face.
Once Kindred was ready, they were on their way. What a strange trio they were, indeed. Gabriel walked with his hands tucked into the pockets of his sweatshirt, face lifted towards the sun at first to let the warm rays wash over his skin and wake him up a bit more. He held a certain self-confidence in his stride, relaxed and casual. He was in no rush to get to a stinky barn, after all.
Upon his arrival, he settled himself between Kindred and Liam once they had stopped inside the barn to recieve any instructions from Abby. He smiled towards the woman he recognized from the day before, though her presence only held his attention for so long before he was distracted by the other gathering boys. He hadn't seen anyone... aside from that boy that had rushed into their room last night. What was this now? Pink hair, that caused a brow to raise... and Tristan looked normal enough. Justin looked potentially aggravating, a little too loud for Gabriel's tastes. His gaze drifted amongst the boys before he settled his eyes back on Abby and leaned back on his heels some. He'd never worked with horses before... Oh! Breakfast! He nudged Kindred gently and nodded his head towards the foods that had been spread out for them, silently asking if he wanted to go grab something to eat.

Kindred spit out his mouthful of foam and stopped for a moment when Gabe questioned him. "Unless one you two uses mint flavored acne cream... I think I'm ok." he replied. Kindred followed the two out and the walked in silence. Stables? So did Abby mean like... horses and stuff?
The foriegn smell of hay and manure confirmed Kindred's thoughts. Horses... Couldn't they go nuts and kill people? what happened to Christopher Reeves flashed through Kindred's head. And he knew what he was doing.
Gabe's nudge came as Kindred brought a corn muffin to his mouth. The 20 year old needed little encouragement to eat in the mornings.

Liam frowned at the toothpaste comment. Were they making fun of him? He couldn’t help the fact that he happened to have extremely good hygiene compared to them... but he decided to let it rest for now. No sense in starting a fight this early in the morning. At least they were finally getting a move on.
When they arrived, he gave no reaction to the smell like the other boys seemed to. He had come out this direction often, sometimes just to look. It was a good place to get away from all. Unsurprisingly, he also made no move towards the buffet table. A continental breakfast wasn’t his cup of tea. He did, however, nod to Abbey, and speak up, one hand in his pocket as the other brushed his bangs away from his face. “So, ah, we’ve arrived...” He referred to him and his new roommates, then cleared his throat. It was amazing that he made it through the night alive. Kindred and Gabriel seemed like trouble to him. Then again, everyone here was trouble.

((DCeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! DDDDD: *huggles*))
Aiden caught the glance of a boy he hadn't previously seen and smiled, barely hesitating before sauntering over to him, a pleasant smile on his lips. "You're new, huh?" he asked, leaning forwards slightly to pick up a blueberry muffin. Hey, he was hungry. And any and all food was not to be wasted.
"My name's Aiden," he added after having swallowed his rather large bite of muffin. "What's yours?"

Seamus sighed and looked down at the huddled form amidst the blankets. Waking up Orpheus was going to be a chore, he could tell. He could always yell "Fire!", but he'd probably just get flipped the bird.
So, implement phase two.
He forcefully tugged the blankets away from the younger teen, leaving him exposed to the morning air.
"C'mon Orpheus, y'gotta get up! Breakfast time!"
Then again, maybe he didn't eat breakfast....? Oh well. He still had to wake up. And there was still that nagging feeling that he was forgetting something....
((Oh, Seamus. Silly narcoleptic, you have a date with destiny and a horse! lol
But DC, we'll miss you! Maybe Allumen can make a random visit sometime in the future....or you could at least post once in awhile on the OC forum. Bye!
And sorry about the lateness and crappyness of the post...I'm about to go into the last day of finals, so I've been a bit busy. @.@ ))

Gabriel would have jokingly accused Kindred of being a fat a** for being the first at the breakfast table, but he was interrupted by Aiden's perky introduction. Admittedly, he'd been expecting something a bit more flowery and feminine than the basic introduction - but he certainly wasn't disappointed. More normal introductions were a good thing, encouraged even! He offered a faint smile to the pink-haired boy, snagging a poppy muffin for himself. (Seemed muffins were the new in-thing. All the cool kids were eating them.)
"Yeah, I just got here last night... I kind of figured it was too late to meet you for pizza... Gabriel. My name's Gabe." He stepped away from the table after pouring himself a glass of juice, making room for the others to get their own breakfast.
Still, he had developed the tendency to remain rather close to Kindred. While approachable, he wasn't the most active social butterfly and Kindred had a form of security to him. They seemed to be here for similar reasons and the older boy was a-okay in his book.

Orpheus muttured something that sounded like 'Goweetyerselb...' which could probably be translated as 'go eat yourself,' which was probably a mix between 'go f*ck yourself' and 'go on with out me.' He wasn't the clearest person on earth when he was more than half asleep.
He tried to snatch back at the blankets, but gave up after one attempt and merely settled back down into bed, his face scrunched up into a frown, black hair tousled.

"Fine, whatever. I'll come back in a bit to wake your lazy a** up." And with that the teen trudged over to the cafeteria..... only to see that nobody was there.
What the hell?! Is everyone here a zombie like Orpheus?
After staring into empty space for a moment or two, he finally realized what had seemed off about this morning. The horse thingy!
THAT'S what was bothering me! I completely forgot about the meeting at the stables! Which was- He quickly glanced at his watch ten minutes ago? s**t!
So Seamus ran all the way back to his dorm room and pounced upon the prone figure in the bed.
"Orpheus, wake up, NOW! We're late! Gittup!" All throughout his somewhat panicked outuburst he'd been shaking the sleeping kid, hoping that he'd make SOME form of a intelligable response.
The irony of the narcoleptic trying to wake up someone else did not escape him.

Liam hung back a little bit and looked around. He liked the stables. They were so very... rustic. He felt a little bit relaxed, though he looked completely out of place. Well groomed and a bit standoffish, the super lean, super tall boy looked as if he were a model getting ready for a photo shoot, contemplating his poses - all of which would be aloof with a trace of seductiveness. That sort of thought was far from being at the top of his mind, however, as he secretly wished that everyone else would finish eating so they could get a move on.
Not everyone was there yet though, he realized, and he tried to remember the names of the boys who they were waiting on. One was named Seamus, he remembered right off the bat - he was a good, nice guy who just happened to have narcolepsy. Then there was Justin - who couldn’t remember him? Something told Liam that Justin was what happened to kids when they watched the Breakfast Club too many times and started to worship Judd Nelson. There was one other one. What was his name again? It started with an O, and as he tried to remember, he whispered his guesses underneath his breath, muttering as he tried to get it right. The last thing he needed was to get it wrong and get a punch in his face. The broken nose thing just wouldn’t look good on him. “Orion... Oran...Orange? No, too weird... Onassis? Opus. ...Oliver? Oscar...”

((Oscar. Pfft. 8D;; ))
Orpheus finally opened his eyes, bleerilly, after enjoying what seemed only five seconds of peaceful rest as the other exited the room and then reentered it. "Nnn...?" He sat up slowly, looking distinctly tousle-haired and sleepy. "Lateforwhat?" he asked slowly, sounding as if his lips had been gummed together with sleep just as securely as his eyes had been.
He rubbed at his eyes with the back of one pale hand and then yawned widely, showing a set of rather nice pearly whites. "S'tooearlytobeyup...." he mumbles incoherintly.
