Aoi Shinu "Mmm..something sweet maybe? I've had a strange sweet tooth and well...you know I don't bake."
She grinned sheepishly. Jai had always been a much better cook than she was. Fallyn was more the manual labor type: hunting and cleaning.

((Hello everyone. I won't be around to post for another few days...I'll be away. With the news of the shop closing down, before I reply, I'd like to know how many of you intend on sticking around and how many don't. Any who haven't responded to this by the time I return (Thursday night), I will probably just not reply to. If you come in later and see this you can PM me. I get some people might take a few days off too...))

The water was cool to the touch, but was perfect. Uccide dipped into the small pond and let the magificent water surround her, flooding away her worries and thoughts. Days like this were rare, and could not be spoiled. Her eyes were closed and nothing could disrupt her bliss.

((How relieved is everyone else that it was just a joke? lol)) Mor rose. He was sorry to see her leave, but something told her she'd come back again. He offered her a parting smile.
"Come back soon then...it's nice to finally have someone interesting to visit with..."
He watched her walk away a moment before returning home again.~ Velvet nodded her head in agreement. Yes, I think with the spirals in your fur, a pair of nice hoops would do nicely. Velvet had about finished her dinner by now, and pushed the plate away from her. She wasn't quite ready to get up and clear the table just yet.~ "Ohh, a studio? That must be very nice for Cora."
Eggie nodded his head vigrously. He'd never really been good at once particular thing, like writing or art or anything. He just liked a lot of things.
"Hey, would Cora like to see a magic trick?"~ She smiled her very strange very rare cute smile as her mate began to cuddle her. He was so different from other baddies, but so refreshing at the same time. She felt loved with him, and lucky.
"Have you seen the children today, Jai?"~ Nash was lounging in the new springtime sun. His fur felt warm and he signed with content. Today was perfect for being lazy...for doing absolutely nothing at all. That is, unless of course a lovely lady just happens to come his way. Afterall, Nashashuk couldn't deny that he very much enjoyed keeping company with the women of Faetasia.
Nash sat up slowly. The clearing had been so quiet today. He guessed that a lot of others just hadn't come out to see the beautiful day yet. All the others but perhaps one. He looked toward the lake, which sparkled so greatly that he thought at first he was imagining her. She was a pretty little thing...younger than him, but not by more than a couple of years. She was dipping her toes into the water...but she was all alone.
Now, as most femmes in the faetasia know, Nashashuk hates to see a lady without company. No naturall, he rose to his feet and strode over to the girl. A gallant smile stretched across his face as he approached her, and he was certain to greet her ahead of time so as not to appear to be sneaking up behind her.
"Hello miss...are you enjoying to new warm weather on the island?"

Uccide was startled by the visitor. She had not seen anyone in the area, so the presence of this handsome man was shocking. She looked up and was instantly intrigued.
"Why, hello sir. I am." She froze. She couldn't think of anything else to say! Never in her life had she ever been literally speechless. All she could do was stare into his big green eyes.

Nash held his paw out to the femme, his smile never faultering.
"My name is Nashashuk. You can call me Nash...miss...?"
He waited for her paw, and her name. Nash felt as though she seemed like the shy type. He thought it was cute.

Uccide realized how she was dazed, and was extremely embarrassed. She finally raised her paw and blushed when they touched.
"M-my name is Uccide. N-nice to meet you, N-nash." She stuttered slowly. She smiled and felt her face hot with embarrassment. His smile was stunning. She felt her heart soar in the air, just from a simple gesture.

Nash kissed the girl's paw gently, always the gentleman, before releasing it.
"What are you up to all on your own on such a lovely day, Miss Uccide?"
He walked over to where she'd been dipping her toes into the water and watched some of the faetasian silver fish swim beneath, their scales catching the sun light and sending sparkles up at them.

Ris was finished eating and took it upon himself to start clearing away dishes to help out his mate. "Maybe we should go out in the next few days and look around for you Iro." He spoke just before heading to the sink.
Iro smiled. "Really? I would love that!" She jumped up to help her father. Bringing along her own dishes. She ran back out really quick. "Anyone else like me to take their dishes for them?"

Uccide blushed even more after the gentle kiss. She had never had a man be so forward before. She finally mustered up enough courage to continue the conversation.
"I just felt like coming down to the water. I wanted to relax and the only real place I get that feeling is here." She shot a smile up in his direction, opening her eyes wider.

"You can take mine, Sis." Emrys said, lifting his plate up toward her.
Velvet also handed her daughter her plate, then stood and cleared away the cups and napkins.
"Yes...that is a good idea. We can all go together and be sure you're doing things correctly, hm dear?"
"Well I hope you don't think I plan on coming with you guys to that place. No way.
Stubborn Emrys crossed his arms over his chest and got up from the table. He would probably never get used to this idea of his sister growing up...despite the fact that they were twins, and so she was only as grown up as he was.

"Ah yes, the lake is a great place for that."
Nash sat down on the shore where the water would come up and barely lap at his long bushy tail. It was cold, but the sun on his fur made up for that well enough.
"I'm surprised I've never seen you around here before. Do you live close by?"
