Rin trailed out after him, looking over herself carefully for any stray bits of food that might be on her. She brushed her hands across her arms for no real reason, and then looked up in time to see Long dunking his head into the fountain. She blinked a couple times, watching the fries now floating around in the fountain. She felt sort of like they couldn't be getting food in the water, but despite this, still walked up to it and tugged off her gloves, dipping her hands inside. She felt a little gross after holding that pasta.

The scars were very obvious now, across her palms and fingers, looking as if she'd grabbed something that was sharp on both sides. The scars were deeper on her right hand. She frowned, but continued scrubbing them lightly until she finally had them as clean as she wanted.

Then she pulled back, shaking her hands lightly to air dry them as she watched Long shaking his head. She just kept silent, listening, and thinking he was going to continue. But instead he trailed off, and she frowned before speaking up. "...yes?" she asked, a little impatiently.

Hearing a crunch, Lelah looked up to see a boy eating what looked like pocky.Oh, how bad she wanted pocky. The craving just started to knaw at her insides untill she made a mental note to find pocky immedietly after she was done her.College was great, no P.E, no required stupid science, and you could have classes you actually wanted, not ones you were forced to take.Yet, she had to fill out tons of paper work, luckily she was able to do it on the computer rather than by hand. She found the people around her every day, confusing. It seemed to her to be just another 'click' school.0k, so that really made no sense since most of the people around her were not hanging out in clicks, but, they all seemed very..depressed.Not only that, but they all had strange color hair, eyes, and wore clothing like they were in Tokyo.Maybe that was it, they were all from Tokyo? But, that couldn't be right..not all of them looked Japanese..though most of them did.Only give a shrug to herself, she stuffed her laptop into her book bag and stood up.She wasn't sure were she was going to find pocky..but she needed to stand up anyway. Her legs were falling asleep.Laleh found herself starring at Yuki.It wasn't so much his look that intrested him, it was the pocky. She was considering asking him where he got it.

"The house question...You answered that you wouldn't want to just barge in without reason correct, but you would take a look to see first right? Or something close to that particular notion," Long said as he sat up crosslegged once again like a Tibet Monk, "That choice is how you would first handle conflict..." Long spoke as he looked over at her several times and then at her hands.

"Moving on...when I asked you if you were to stand your ground and fight, or run away, you told me that you obviously wouldn't run," Long said as he looked back at his twiddling fingers, "That explains that you wouldn't be willing to face conflict unless for a good enough reason, that's being very reserved in a way..." Long spoke up complimenting her as he looked over.

"And for the animal you chose that would cross you path, a wolf? That would represent how you would really see conflict, a particular trait about that animal is what would see conflict as, not only that, it is many traits including the one you thought of conflict as, Since you gave it a color it would represent something you look for in friends and companions..." Long said as he then did a strange thing while putting both legs over his neck as he then stood with his hands as stilts on the fountain edge.

"Doubt is what creates negative aspects... don't ever think differently about that one simple fact..." Long said as he was holding his odd stature in place.

"I believe the proper term for what I did in the cafeteria was courage and recklessness...because courage neccessarily mean to not be afraid, but being strong enough to accept what is happening and go along with matters in that particular moment in time...not to mention being reckless, like what I did with the french fries, blasting them into the table and such...not smart correct? But that was also the lesson on how you should be using courage, being courageous doesn't mean you have to stand up to the antagonist and hurt them either, because it takes courage to use other means wisely and carefully... This will be the building block of your will power and one step to overcoming that pendant, Rin... congrats, you now have one an aspect you never used that now fortifies your mind against fears that are born after doubt..." Long smirked lightly. Long was also expecting the 'brain coffee' to hit her like a ton of bricks at this point.

Rin watched him quietly, nodding her head to agree that that was in fact what she'd said. She just remained silent as she listened to what all he was saying, sorting it around in her head as she tried to see if it made sense. And, it kind of did... She blinked and glanced back at him when he began speaking of the animal. What she'd look for in companions?

She shifted slightly in place, tilting her head as he held himself up oddly on the fountain's edge. She rubbed her own hands against the skirt of her dress, drying them off, and then leaving them there. Her black, fingerless gloves were still set on the edge of the fountain.

Her gaze dropped to the ground as she took everything in, shifting slightly in place as she thought about it. For a short while she said absolutely nothing, and then her head slowly bobbed up and down as she glanced back at him. "I guess... ok," she mumbled, staring openly again. "Thank... you." The words sounded forced, almost like it was difficult for her to say them.

Yuki suddenly felt eyes on him again, normally he just ignored this feeling, never liking to give someone the knowledge that he did in fact look at them. For once though, he kind of forgot...if only for a minute and his eyes landed upon Lelah. She...why did she 'intrest' him? It was sudden, but that's how things always worked with him, possiably because he was often very bored of things around him. When something stood out to him in some way or another he would have to stare at it and figure out why. She did look a little bit different...maybe that was it? He wasn't sure, and that was probley bugging him the most, he slightly noticed that she was eyeing the current meal that he was eating. He slowly turned fully around and walked over to her slowly, he just stood there in silence for a few full minutes. Then he reached down and stopped his Cd player, and pulled out the mini bag of goodies. He reached in and pulled out a flavored kind of pocky and reached forward putting it in her mouth.
[xD He's just like:.....-prods-]

Lelah's eyes clicked up from the pocky to Yuki when he moved. She saw him walking towards her but figured it was just to him walking passed her.She always did that.Lelah would constantly arguing with herself in her mind. All she kept thinking was, He's probably walking past me or Wait, no he is coming towards me.Finally she just yelled at herself mentally. Oh what does it matter if he is coming towards you! People walk up to other people all the time..big deal.Lelah was always good at two things, one: getting embarrassed easily. And two: getting over it two minutes later. For some reasons she would always get embarrassed but forget about it so soon, her cheeks didn't have time to flush a bright red.So she just blinked and tilted her head slightly as he came closer."Uh, hi-"She had attempted to say, 'Hi, I'm Lelah' but was suddenly greeted with a stick of pocky being stuck in between her lips. For some reason she reacted by quickly swatting at the pocky and grabbing it in her right hand.In the process a piece broke off in her mouth and she swallowed it.It was quite good, but she was too confused to comment on that."Thank...you?"Her hesitation on the word you just showed how much she was surprised. No stranger had every stuck food in her mouth without a word before. So, naturally she just stood there, glancing down at the pocky, trying to think of something to say to make it less awkward for her.

[Aw Lollipop! Your warning for what's-his-face was so cute! >w< And friendlyyyy -gives you a gold brick- xP]

Yuki watched her in silence, not that he probley would talk if she asked him a question or something. He almost felt bad because he knew that this sometimes made people feel like they were in an akward silence. It wasn't that, it was just him. He might have smiled...if he was that kind of person, but it wasn't Lelah's looks that intrested him. Well...no they kind of did...he honestly just didn't care about that though, if they were idotic or had quailites he very much hated he would probley just ignore them entirely. That was most likely the reason why he spent so much time observing instead of talking, talking would lead to mistakes. She had almost started to introduce herself but got cut off when he put the pocky in her mouth. He simply stood there, slightly bent down, though not by much, he wasn't that much taller than her at all. He did stop looking at her as he pulled another goodie from his bag and popped it into his mouth. He still didn't speak.
[xD sorry I wanna have him speak! but he can't v.v]

Lelah looked up as Yuki put something into his mouth.Ok, so it was veeery quiet now.Lelah hated quiet, it was boring! The only time people should be quiet is when they are sleeping...or going to the bathroom. And even then it seemed that her friends would talk to her.(xDD)So, she clicked her tounge and fiddled with her pocky. She was looking straight at him when she said, "Okaaay, awkward!"She just gave a small laugh, you know..the kind you do in normal conversation when you say something strange or weird to lighten the talk."Hi!"She said again as she clasped her hands together. She gave a smile, as if to show that she knew that she was being stupid for not saying anything.Ok, so he might not pick up on that, but any one that knew her well knew that facial expressions were half her personality.

Long began laughing aloud like a kid that had been proud after defeating imaginary pilots for awhile, he then shifted his face over to Rin and he immediately cut off the laughter as he went back to looking like a zombie with a blank stare, "We're not done yet, you shouldn't be thanking me just like that, say it when it counts and when you're definetly ready to alright?" Long smirked as he looked at Rin's dress. He then unstretched from his odd stay one leg at a time after setting himself down nice and easy, as he then crouched over on the fountain's edge like a frog with his arms to his side as he turned to give Rin a friendly smile

"Do you need to go shower and such by any chance?" Long said as he sniffed her lightly like a mutt observing a box that looked odd. He did smell estranged himself, but for a girl, Rin most likely want to get cleaner than that.

"I may nothing more than careless and stoic, but you know, I'm not completely uncourteous..." Long spoke as he picked several more noodles out of Rin's head gently without pulling at her hair.

He looked over at Rin's hands, he noticed that she did seem to wear those gloves to cover up her scars and had made a frown that made him look pissed but bored at the same time, "Next lesson..." Long said as he took her fingerless black gloves, stood off from the fountain and took a few steps back as he ran forward like a javelin thrower and tossed them as hard as he could using his super strength until they were a tiny little dot heading over to the next country in fact. He used his hands like the bill on a cap to shade form the sun as the gloves themselves disappeared.

"Don't be ashamed...because that which you hide is what your enemy will use against you...a person who is not shy about anything is perhaps the most powerful person... If you had kept wearing those gloves and every time you took them out you would only be reminded of things of the past...and that will cause you to be distress about the future..." Long said as he looked back at Rin and took her hands observing carefully. He could conlude that they were from holding somthing sharp in her hands, and suffering as well...Was itshards? crystal? glass? Something had definetly happened if it traumatized her to wear gloves to cover it up

Rin blinked, eyes widening very slightly when Long suddenly began to laugh. She had no idea what it was that he found so funny. But he stopped just as abruptly, and she fixed him with a blank, confused stare. She tilted back and away when he seemed to actually... sniff her, kind of catching her off guard. Her expression shifted back into a frown as she watched him, and then looked back at herself. "I do, yes," she mumbled. It wasn't necessarily because she's a girl, but more because she was a princess. She wasn't used to being covered in... food, even though she wasn't really that messy.

Though, she decided she'd take that thought back when he began pulling noodles from her hair. She closed one eye, and glanced around quickly with the other. She was taught to always look professional, and she definitely didn't feel very elegant or anything close at the moment. Only about three people knew she was a princess though, one being Long, she so guessed it didn't really matter...

Both eyes opened when he spoke again, and widened just slightly when he picked up her gloves. But she took a small step towards him, but he was already in the process of throwing them away. So she simply turned her head, helplessly watching them flying away into the distance, too far to see. She bit her lip, hands clutching the front of the skirt of her dress rather tightly.

But she let go when he began looking at them, and watched in silence for a moment. "But I..." she began quietly, trailed off, and then tried again. "Now someone might ask and I... don't even know how I got them..." She had another large scar across her chest, beginning just over her heart, and dragging across her chest, a slice wound as if done by a knife, or something similiar, since it was a little jagged as well. She remembered little bits and flashes, but it was hard to piece together. She'd gotten a general idea, but couldn't remember faces, though she knew people had been there when it'd happened.

"There you go, you can use that..." Long answered referring to her question about it as he already heard her explanation, apparently he knew that Rin was telling him something personal, but he accessed it in his own way, "You could always...just say 'Rather not talk about it'..." Long said as he looked at Rin, "Don't ask, Don't tell, right?".

"I never asked you about them, because the past doesn't really matter in the present, but it will somehow be blown up into this big dastardy annoying piece of crap in the future..." Long said as he held her hands up closer as he noticed that it was in fact, that she was the one holding the sharpened material in her hands.

"Well...to make a temporary reason, if you care, I believe it was at a time when that spirit of te pendant possessed you and did you something that would hurt you way back when...And I could guess it was that spirit based on my first encounter with her..." Long spoke as he gently ran his thumb along her palms along the scar, "Hmm, it's too jagged to be an actual knife..but I'm telling you it could be a shard instead of a sharpened material, as you can see... In fact it was almost as if you were gripping the shard instead..." Long said as he pointed at a certain scar, in between her plam and the hills of the upper palm just before the fingers, it somehow seemed too razored and scattered to be a knife or such.

Meghan slowly walked into the courtyard, a black back-pack slung over her shoulder by a strap, her hand clutching it very lightly. She let out a sigh, sitting herself down within the shade of a tall oak tree; she let her bag go, which dropped with a small 'plop' on the side of the tree, no more than arms length away from her. She wanted to roam around, but she also didn't quite feel like it; she was going to find out stuff about the students here, such as who not to mess with, but she figured that if she did that, she also had the chance of running into the said person.
"It'd be better to just rest for now and explore later, I guess," she thougth outloud; after all, she'd just gotten there from a long plane ride, and was extremely tired.

[Sorry! I was at the doctor all day today.]

Rin nodded her head slightly, but was mentally thinking about people like Gordon, who seemed like they wouldn't give up unless they got what they wanted, be it for her to take some drink, or tell him about a scar. "I guess so," she agreed anyway. She guessed, or hoped, that most people would accept that sort of answer.

She watched him examining her hands, trying her hardest not to jerk away and hide them. She wanted to pretty badly... She'd been through this same thing many times, but usually the person just looked, thought to themself, and then reported back to her mother. Rin was always left in the dark. Long didn't do that though. He actually told her what was on his mind. Or at least, she thought he did. He seemed to talk quite a bit...

Her fingers twitched slightly, but she still didn't move, and instead closed her eyes as she thought to herself for a moment. She was trying to recall what had happened but, like every time before, just got quick, faint flashes of images. "I think it..." she began, a frown upon her face as she spoke uncertainly. "...a mirror?" That seemed about right, to her. The pictures were still extremely fuzzy though.

((its kool, I wasnt by the comp all day either))

"Well now, that I can tell that it could've been out of a powerful struggle..." Long said as he glanced over several times at the other sides of her hands. He gently let go, "We'll figure out more as me go along...Rome wasn't built in a day either you know?" Long said as he stood up straight.

"Do you need to go shower and possibly change or what? We could go now you know?" Long said as he looked over at Rin as he crouched down on the fountainside. It was exactly like him to change thought and perspective, he was almost as everchanging as the seasons throughout the year.

"Well?" Long said as he stood on his left leg and left arm standing on them slightly and holding his place as he looked like a gingerbread cookie standing balance on his side. His thoughts in fact, were that Rin was one of the few that thought he was odd for a person, but didn't seem bothered by his mentality.

Rin nodded slightly in agreement. She shouldn't expect things to come back so quickly. It'd almost been a year, but... She sighed to herself, and let her hands drop by her sides when he let go. Though, when she heard his next question, she ran one hand through her vibrant hair, wrinkling her nose slightly at thee thought there'd been noodles there a moment before.

"I think I do need a shower," she replied, and once again dropped her arm by her side. She felt odd without her gloves. She'd been wearing them so long that it still felt like they were in place. But, they weren't. It would take some getting used to.

She actually did have another pair back in her room, but she'd try not to wear them. At least, for a little while, unless it grew too uncomfortable. But if no one asked about the scars, then she'd be fine with letting them show, as long as no one openly stared.

She broke from her thoughts, and glanced towards Long to see what he had to say. She'd, by now, grown somewhat used to his strange poses and head twisting.
