The first of the boys to enter was the Kaguya. Somehow that struck him as strange.
The great snake-sannin touched his white fingertips together and looked over them at the young boy with his piercing olive eyes, eyes that showed no decay of power over the many years of his life.
"I see." he said after awhile, his voice coiling like a snake itself. The corners of his mouth turned up slightly in a knowledgeable smirk. "Then you may or may not realize that due to the alliance between Otokure and Kirigakure you are free to venture inside this village at your leisure." The smile widened. "Or was there really something particular that you desired from this location?"

Haruka stands "well, honestly ive realized that, being who i am, i have a slight craving for power, and who better to help me to achieve that power than Lord Orochimaru-Sama and his cursed seals?" Haruka notices the smirk "After all, your power is pretty much unrivaled."

Orochimaru's smile widened slightly. "Flattery will get you nowhere." he said though clearly his ego was flourishing "I suppose since the legends of Kimmimaru the Kaguya do have a tendency to seek me out."
His serpentine eyes glimmered for several moments. "Naturally I can not give you such power immediately. I wonder if you would be interested in taking a job during your training to prove yourself worthy of the strain." The long, flexible tongue creeped out of his mouth and over his thin lips like he was savoring the moment.

Jazu listened intently, rage quietly boiling in him. I can't believe what I'm hearing! This bum just walks in at random and Orochimaru's already training him?! Oh, I hope it's difficult... He did not move from his kneeling position.

Orochimaru's grin widened as he felt the tension from Jazu. So amusing. "I'm placing you as the temporary guardian of the East Gate." the last Sannin said. "You hold no official power and can't bar anyone except by your own strength. I'm sure it will be very boring... or dangerous." Things would at least be interesting. "I'll send Soren along sometime with his students, he's the Guardian of the West Gate, most likely he'll use you as a test subject for some of his techniques but you will undoubtedly learn a few things."
Orochimaru leaned back in his seat slightly and mused for a moment. "Jazu..." he hissed. It was a quiet summons but from him just as effective if he had yelled throughout the entire tower.

"Since you wish to show loyalty you can join Haruka in his post at the gate." He said with another signature smirk. "Beat each other within a fraction of your lives if you wish, just make sure that one of you is conscious enough to watch the gate. If any of the other Sensei's have time they may drop by for training and provisions." The serpentine eyes looked over the white of his hands. "Objections from either?"

He immediately bowed. Well, I'm being given a post, so I'll just put up with this Mist scumbag... "Hai, Orochimaru-sama! Shall I leave immediately?"

"no worries, your gate is well guarded" Haruka looks over at Jazu "well ... I cant speak for him." Haruka took one more kneel " thank you lord orochimaru-sama" Haruka stands takes a few steps back, turns and walks out.

Jazu scowled, running out after him. I can't let myself disappoint Orochimaru-sama... He flushed red, hearing the comment, but ignored it.

Karu entered, smiling politely at the receptionist. "Excuse me madam, is my Lord terribly busy at the moment? I have a slight medical problem occurring at the moment and I require a skilled medic-nin."

Nina looked up at the boy again. "I'm sorry but this is not a hospital if that was your impression. We do not have medical professionals crossing through here on a daily basis. What was the exact nature of the injury anyway?"
