"Elva!" Shiero called as her sister whipped around and exited the room she had just entered into. "Elva.. please.. just wait a minute!" Raine entered into the hallway. Even if Shadow objected, she had to do so. Now she knew exactly why she was in here.. so she wouldn't harm anybody...

That scared her slightly, really. Did she have that little control over the demon that thrived within her? Was she that weak? "Elva, please, just listen.." She called down the hallway. Shiero's hands immediatly fell to her waist, her thumb rubbing the side of her own hand as if nervously.. The thing was, Raine was afriad of her sister getting injured, her injury then in turn would be her fault. This man was after her.. for whatever reasons, and because of her own carlessness, the sleeping demon within her, which she thought had disapearred completely, had risen for her own health...

((The showdow isn't soild, you can't "shove" it, lol.))

Blackness suddenly flowed out of the ground in front of Elva, taking the form of a large dragon taking up the whole hallway. It roared in that horrible voice, made even more horrible by the fact that it was imitating a dragon. "Unfortunatly, I cannot allow that." it said in a grating voice. Dragons weren't known for their ability to speak well. "You see, if you do, Raine will chase you. And if she does, she leaves the room. And if she leaves the room, I'm in violation of my master's orders."

The cries of her sister reached her ears, however, Elva ignored them. No, she couldn't stop, she wouldn't stop. Elizabeth and Lucifer had obviously hurt Raine, and it was up to Elva to see that they received the same amount of suffering that her sister had felt.

Elva stopped however as the darkness engulfed her, panting heavily as she stared out in front of her. There ahead of her, stood a dragon, however it seemed quite different from the way Elva had imagined one. It was a total shade of black, and its voice was almost unbearable. Elva cringed slightly as the shadow began to talk, Elva listening intently. Half way through, however, Elva shook her head with disbelief and impatience, rolling her eyes, letting out a large huff. She didn't have time for this. Who was he to say that she wasn't allowed to go. He wasn't her father or her mother! "I don't care!" She screamed, moving closer toward the figure. "I'm going and that's final, now move!" Elva bellowed, flashing Benihime out in front of her, an angry, yet determined, expression set in her eyes.

"You'll have to make me move." it said, lowering its head to get a better look at her. It looked completely solid.

As he said this, a grin flashed to Elva's face as well as a low chuckle. "Fine," she muttered, raising her weapon toward the sky, so it was in direct path with the creature's head. "Bring it on!" She yelled loudly, taking her fighting stance, both feet placed against the ground, a bit of space between them. She kept her eyes locked on the figure, her target. She would have to deal with this quickly before her sister came running.

Instead of bothering to dodge the weapon, Shadow plunged straight at Elva, opening it's massive jaws. The weapon passed straight threw it's head as it came down.

What?! Elva screamed in her mind, seeing the dragon fall head on to her weapon. What the hell is it doing? She questioned, still in her mind. His tatic made no sense! Why would he--crap! Elva spun around, already too late to escape the jaws. With a shout, Elva held the hilt of her weapon tightly, watching as the jaws closed in on her. Her eyes widen as she lifted her whip above her head, wondering what was to happen next, now that she was basically inside the dragon's mouth.

((When a shadow "touches" you, it drains your strength.))

Shadow just closed its mouth all the way untill it had engulfed Elva.

It was too late; there was no way out. Elva panted heavily as her eyes darted from one side of the dragon's mouth to the other. No! She shouted at herself as she held her weapon close against her body, her hands quivering lightly. Suddenly. . . "What? What's going on?" Elva looked down at her hands, her eyes widening as Benihime instantly dropped from her hands. Now, Elva's breath became scattered as she fell to her knees, her hands pressing against the shadow's mouth. "Why is this happening?" She asked herself, her eye sight growing blurry.

"Shiero. . ."

"Do you surrender?" Shadow said as best it could with her in its mouth.

"No. . . I. . . I can't. I can't!" She shouted loudly as she felt her whole body begin to tremble. "I can't, I can't." She muttered over and over again, her head lowered, her eye sight nothing but a blur of dark and light spots. "I. . . can't." Just as she was about to fall on her face, Elva stopped, pulling herself so she was standing straight. With a grunt, Elva wrapped her fingers around the hilt of her weapon, stabbing it into the bottom of the shadow's mouth, lightly. Raising her head, Elva shook her head. "Like I said before. . . I can't!" She screamed, pulling her sword back up, holding it out in front of her. She didn't have much strength left. Would she be able to do this?

The sword passed harmlessly through the shadow again. "No matter how many times you try, that won't work." it said.

He was right; she knew that no matter how hard she tried, she wouldn't be able to defeat him, but at least she was willing to try. It wasn't in her nature to just, 'give up,' but what other choice did she have? She didn't know what to do. What was she supposed to do? This creature had sucked up most of her energy and strength, that she couldn't even stand anymore. What could she do?

"..Stop!" She screamed standing in the doorway of the room. She tried the best she could to stay where she was, but seeing her sister's strength just draining from her, it pained her. Making a small, confused grunt, Shiero darkted from the doorway into the hall. "Ah, El!" She called to her sister. Raine's bare feet were heard patting against the floor, the skirt of her dress billowing behind her a bit. "Come on.. forget about it.. alright?" She said gently, trying to pull her sister back. "El.. come with me, alright? It was my fault, don't take it out on them, please.."

As the dying cries of her sister reached her ears, Elva's head spun around, facing the light blur in the distance, which she could guess was Shiero. She watched as her sister came closer and closer to her, pulling her toward her. Elva's eyes watered, biting down upon her bottom lip to keep herself from crying, however a couple tears streamed down the side of her cheek. "Sh-Shiero...but I...but they-" she stuttered, lowering her eyes from hers in the most upright shame. "...I'm sorry." She whispered softly, Benihime falling from her grasp, crashing to the floor. She did as well, slipping from her sister's grip and stumbling to the floor, blacking out. She had alsolutely no strength left; just a lifeless body.
