Twindream Amylin Twindream Well, I'm not sure about the whole couple thing, but the world of FFVII and X are similar. Pyreflies are supposed to be like lifestream, the life of the world and give an energy. In X-2, you come to the scene with Shinra ( No offense but that kinda seems like a three pronged cord in a two pronged outlet theory... right idea, but it really doesn't fit. But I never was able to make it through the Charle's Angel's of the FF world so they may have changed pyreflies role in the second game. From what I understand though from the original FFX is that pyreflies are an entity of their own that reside in the farplane that collect souls and react to the impulses of the memory to recreate images from the world of the dead. Lifestream however is basically the cycle of reincarnation put into a tangible form. "The lifestream flows as the planet's life force. Everything that dies returns to it and is reformed into new life" Like I said... maybe in FFCA the role of pyreflies changes... so please correct me if I am wrong. Hey, Nomura said it, not me! sweatdrop well first of all the whole couple thing..dont get me started

just after seeing that screenshot the first thing that came to mind was the lifestream so I guess thats what I was saying
how they reminded me of each other
but ya I dont exactly know what nomura himself said or what they said in X-2 I just kinda played X-2 to get the ending! but ugh getting the 'perfect ending' was a major pain in the butt!

I've had speechs presentations exams clubs its been a hell of a week I'm just glad the weekends here

.[.pink.spider.]. samuraioni has anyonw heard anything about 7 being remade on the PS3? even a rumor would be nice. I was on the square japan store yesterday. they have removed all the final fantasy 7 [not countinf AC] merchandise from their store. Including an aerith's theme music box. I personally hope this means they may be remaking the game, but you never know. Oh, there are plans to open a square-enix store in calafornia. No place or opening time give yet. but, there are plans. i hope that means we'll be able to get some of the awesome merchandise they have in japan here in the states.
and discussion on the remake so I dont really know
but one thing is for sure if they remake it I'll die of joy!
oh really? thats intersting and square store would rock! although I live on the east coast which is waay far from cali! sweatdrop Regardless of where you live in the US, a square store here in the states would be a good thing. that means there would be a US version of the store website. which means we'll be able to get the items they have in japan here in the states. as of now, square will not ship to the states as the shipping rates are too high. but there are ways to still get things delivered here, i just need to look into them some more.

Yuna and Aeris I can relate to....but Cloud and that sissy? xd (I hate Tidus as you can tell.) Why is Tidus a sissy? Emotionally or physically? This is not simply because he has an upbeat personality is it? neutral Just wondering. The Yuna/Aeris thing ... the only relation I see is that they are magic users really... if Yuna is to relate to ANYONE in FFVII personality wise I'd say she's more like Tifa.

I always draw cloud and aerith on the sides of my homework and other worsheets! I wish I had a scanner!

anyways I didnt mean that aerith and yuna are alike and tidus and cloud but I mean the coupling
and here read this:
Final Fantasy X: Tidus and Yuna are also opposites; Tidus's name/celestial objects refer to the sun while Yuna's name/celestial objects refer to the moon. Not only that, but their story is directly parallel to that of Cloud and Aerith...
-Tidus is an outspoken, cocky blitzball star who, like all FF heroes, has a mysterious past. He also becomes a Guardian for Yuna during her pilgrimage, vowing to protect her from her fate.
-Yuna is the daughter of a famous man, High Summoner Braska. Like Aerith, and all of the female FF heroines before her, she is someone of great importance. She is also a white mage and a Summoner, someone with unusual powers, just like Aerith (a Cetra), Rinoa (a Sorceress), and Garnet (also a Summoner). Yuna is traveling on a pilgrimage with her Guardians to Zanarkand, where she will obtain the Final Aeon. We later discover that Yuna will die upon summoning the Final Aeon. And yet she bravely moves forward, with the good of the world in mind. Sound familiar? Aerith willingly sacrificed herself for the good of the planet in FFVII.
It is only later in the game that Yuna realizes the truth about Tidus. He is merely a dream, to be lost when she destroys the enemy. And yet Yuna bravely presses on selflessly, much the way Aerith did in FFVII. Even when Tidus is lost to Yuna, she does not stop loving him and she does not stop looking for a way to be with him. Just like Cloud, at the end of FFVII, who expresses his desire to be reunited with Aerith, Yuna searches for a way to be with Tidus once again. Again, we see the idea of love beyond death being presented. CloTis may mock this, but it is something Square clearly believes in. It is amusing for me to see so many CloTis that are fans of TidusxYuna, but not of CloudxAerith. Hello? These two pairings are soo alike!!
Final Fantasy X-2: In this game, we see a continuation of Yuna's search for Tidus. Although he is gone, she continues to love him, hold his memory dear, and search for a way to be reunited with him. Also, in this game, we see another story that supports love beyond death. Shuyin and Lenne, while dead, still love one another, although they haven't seen each other for a thousand years. They are soul mates and their spirits persist in Spira, searching for one another. This is what love means, people. Loving someone forever is something that a lot of CloudxTifa fans are unable to comprehend.
