Keep Calm I am The Doctor

Ranu shrugged, "If you won't kill them, I'm sure the crew will be quite happy to," he said idly, his eyes falling down onto said crew, watching them do their seperate dutys. "And will you be telling the crew you've put them back under the yoke of England? Do you think they'll be happy about that? Chances are many of them became pirates to avoid being part of the Royal Navy." He shook his head slightly.

Kibo: Trust me. The name might be English, but I have absolutely no loyalty to anybody but my crew. As long as we're not caught in the act by credible English officers, which, mind you, are in quite short supply nowadays, it's simply a title used to get out of trouble. And to impress prospective crew members.

Storm shook her head and muttered darkly under her breath.
"Killing 'em would just be easier."

Kibo: Now killing perspective crew members isn't a good way to gain their trust!

Storm shrugged.
"Who needs trust when you have blind devotion and loyalty?"

Kibo: Now, when you had just met me, were you blindly loyal to me, even before joining my crew?

Kibo: Trust me, killing someone, not surprisingly, is not a good way of building trust.

"But you raise them as a zombie, not a spirit, it doesn't matter anymore." I knew I'd use something I learned from Arch Tirith up here.

Kibo: Not a zombie. I bring them back to life, complete with all their bodily systems intact, and everything. They're completely self-contained, and just like they were in the prime of their life. I can only strip them of their humanly forms if they also want to go back, or are undecided.

Storm sighed.
"But my point is, you're a Necromancer. Which means, you have the ability, whether you use it or not, to raise mindless beasts used for your own whim."

Kibo: Yeah, but mindless beasts aren't much of workers. All they know how to do is kill. If you want worthwhile crewsmen, you have to put a mind in them, and they always have an option. It's kinda pointless.

Storm shrugged.
"Doubtless you, being the necromancer, know more then I of it. As this is no longer my ship and I have pressing business on the mainland, I bid you fair winds, sweet water, rich profits, and l'adieu"
She gave the deck a last look, bowed and disappeared.
