Ed opens up the cooler and takes out the leftover fish. He peels off the wrapping and holds in his hand. "Hey little fella, I got some fish for you."

That worked and the little bat otter poped his head out from Seiya's shirt and flaped over to Ed, snatching up the tasty looking fish.
Seiya just let out a sigh as he got his breath back, damm that had tickled.

((I just to work on Tseng, Elena and Abe's profiles. Oddly enough the game characters are the Alternative Universe versions (which I forgot to add to the FAQ))
Gast looks closely at the bat otter's mouth. "His gums are pink. That means he's healthy."

The batotter didn't seem to like how close Gast was to his mouth, so dicded to show his dis pleasure in a very creative way. "Epp!" Came the irraitated chatter followed by chomping down on Gasts nose.

"Is this your 97th time you got bitten?" Vincent asked.
"More like 88." Ed corrected him.

The batotter simply looked smug and took back his pearch on Seiya's head, the tenager cracked up at the site of what happened to Gast. "Little guy sure can look after himself."

Sarah nodded. "Yup. But I think we left out Diana...Where is she?"

"I've never had anything like a pet befor," Seiya admited, then as the little batotter looked up to him a name at last came to him, from a story he read when he was first learing to use and read english words. "Shade, you are now going to be called Shade."

Shade seemed quite happy with his new name, and now full of fish and quite happy with on one trying to stare at his face the little batotter fell asleep once again.

"It's going well," he replied. "I did a lot of sketches and notes of the animals."
"We have to wear a lot of warm clothing during the winter." Ed added.

After his snack was taken care of Shade fell back alseep on Seiya's head, the little bat otter quite happy and comfortable. Now that Seiya was sure his little buddy would be safe he decided to bring up something that had been bothering him for a while. "How do you get involed in feild work? So far all they let me do is boring as hell desk work, I want to acutly do something exciting."

"I got involved in 1978 when the agency heard about my work and asked if I could help them," Gast explained. "And I also know about medical aid as well."
"I came here illegaly in 1984," Ed said as he lights up another cigarette. "I was about to be deported back to Interzone when Gast asked me to become his assistant. Well, you know what happen after that..."
"Speaking of something exciting, we did got a report from the agency..." said Vincent.
