*The innocent eyes don't have an effect on him.* Oh, no. This shell you've got .... has got to go. You're gonna have to be dangerous. You're going to have to try things for yourself.
First rule about 2002. Philly doesn't tell you what you like. You tell Philly what you like.
And Philly includes me, too.

*Luke smiles.*
Now we're talking.
*The two walk down South Street, Luke leading the way through a vast array of people. Old, young, every skin color and body type imaginable. The clothes are as colorful and wild as the shops that surround them. There's lot of leatherz, lots of piercings, and lots of college students dressed no so differently from Luke and Cora.*
*As they're walking, Luke waves and greets a few people as they recognize each other, but their conversations are never long - as currently, he is a man on a mission.*
*Luke and Cora pass an expensive restaurant, aptly named "BYOB". Beside it, is a less impressive looking shop called "Wine and Spirits Shoppee". Luke reads off a sign next to their shop.*
This shop boasts "The best wines and Spirits sold in Philly.... Every variety of liquor... Wines from five states and seventeen countries."
*clears his throat* I think that "best wine and Spirits sold in Philly" line is pushing it, but ... it looks decent. What do you think?

:::She follows him into the shop, and suddenly she's surrounded by shelves stocked high with wine bottles, as well as refridgeration units containing things like beer:::
wow... :::She whispered quiety. Cora actually felt a little more at home here.:::
Ooo! Luke! Do they have white wine? Maybe a 2004 stock of Leibfraumilch? Oh...uhm. Did they make it in 2002?

I dunno. *nudges her* Go ask him.

Oh...
:::She hobbles slgithly in the employee's direction, and wondered for a moment how to adress them...what was polite to someone who is working? she wondered. Everntually though, something just sorta came out of her mouth:::
Hello sir. I wanted to know if you carry the white wine Leibfraumilch?
:::The middle aged man raised an eye brow to Cora, hardly taking her for a wine conisuer. She looked more like she should be drinking Bud light.:::
Uh no... We haven't had any german wines in for a while. Was it a dry wine?
:::Cora put her hand to her chin:::
Yes, I believe it was. Perhaps you have Rene Junot? It's very similar...
Oh yeah..! That's a good find, I like suggesting that one. :::He seemed pleased with Cora's selection and began walking in the direction of her particular selection. She looked back at Luke a little pleased with herself, and hoped that he had watched her talk to the 2002 man like a big girl, all by herself.

:::Shortly, Cora and the man returned to the register area, the Rene Junot in hand. Cora thanked him and set off in search of Luke. She knew he was still there in the store, she felt totally uncomfortable not being able to see him at all times. She followed the path she saw him set off on before she was lead away:::
Luke! :::she called out::: I got the wine!

No actually. :::She smiled, glad to see him near by again:::
The man was very nice.
:::Suddenly she felt chilly. They were in the refrigerated section of beers. Cora shivered:::
Wow...it's so cold here.
:::Imagine never feeling a deviation in temperature by more than 1 or 2 degrees your entire life. Now think about the beer section:::

Yeah, that's 'cause we're standing next to the beer fridge. Check it out.
*Luke grins and opens wide the door right on Cora. Cold air visibly puffs out onto her.*

:::Cora shrieks as the freezing cold air falls over her, and her entirely 21st century civilian clothing...totally non-thermal since it was summer. She jumps out of the air's way, and wraps her arms around herself instinctively:::
Luke... that is so cold!!

You think this is cold? You''ll have to come here around Christmas.

The day celebrating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth! I''ve read very much about that. I''d like to come see it. :::She tilts her head to one side, still rubbing her free hand over her other arm, trying to warm up:::
Why...is it cold on that day?
