Reddemon Okay Ive got to say this now. Tyranids are not bugs nor is their name pronounced "Terinids". They were first discovered on the planet Tyran. If you add asaurous Rex what do you have? Dinosaurs. The Tyranids are dinosaurs! So can ppl for the love of whatever your race belives in stop reffering them as bugs?! scream You are part right. At least tyranids are hive minds HIVE. what do bugs live in. Also they have arms and legs like bugs. But they are also like dinasours. They have the body and head's of dino's. So it's either 1) there neither or 2) there both.

Check the old modles. Most of them look like dinosaurs

Tyranid physiology is soooo sweet. I loved the biology section of the earlier codex.

Just because Imperial Guardsmen call Tyranids "bugs" does not make them insects. Phil Kelly sees the Nids more as Dinosaurs, but as dino's with the evil alien factors blown up, making them true monsters.

tyranids are like the aliens from the movie aliens ppl call they various things they are what u want to be. they can be serpent like aliens or bugs or dinosaurs or watever

I have the new codex for reference purposes.
The new nids have the potential to be extremely deadly.
In fact, many armies would have trouble beating them.
Try 6 carnifexes in a 1500 point battle.
