a good way to potentionally stop them is to have a group with high AP to shoot at them leaving them just to fall down, then when he rolls for them to recover the adverage of 4+'s he rolls will be lower, belive me it's worked

You may inevitably become the next victim. domokun

I could've sworn that Necrons couldn't WBB from AP3 or better unless they were within range of a Ressurrection Orb...

WBB??!?! what is that? i'm sorry but i don't quite know your language yet... but anyways, yeah, they do suffer from AP, but they still get thier resurection save... unless horribly vapourized by like a dark lance or something... what is the rules for resurrection again?

we'll be back. I know that, my friend started necrons. I painted his lord - and bent its hand so it's pointing where he's looking. Looked stupid with the basic "claw" hand, so I added 2 cool points by bending the metal.
anywho. I think necrons get back up after AP killing weapons, but not from "strength double the toughness" weapons, which kill outright.

From the necron codex: Page 13, "we'll be back" paragraph 3...
"A Necron cannot self-repair if it was destroyed by a close combat weapon that allows no armor save or any weapon whose Strength is twice the Toughness of the Necron concerned. This can be over-ridden by the Resurrection Orb (see the Necron Armoury). Additionally, the self-repair ability only works if the wounded Necron is within 6# of another model of the same type, although not necessarily of the same unit. Necrons destroyed after due to a failed 'Death or Glory' attack may not be repaired by any means."
This means you just have to buy lots of Rhinos and run the bastards over.

Drachyench_The_Eternal Better, razor backs, they can also give some good fire if imobilized but cost more and are bigger targets. Rhinos can carry more troops.

If you had one, would it be stupid to send a land raider crusader to do that?

Drachyench_The_Eternal If you had one, would it be stupid to send a land raider crusader to do that? yes. ALOT of necron weapons have the ability to hurt space marines. Badly.

Hurricane bolter can get up to twelve shots. sadly, unless it is a big unit, it will never be the same unit.

Badly. yes, but if you're using the crusader for it's purpose in life then it can do horrible things to that necron unit, like shredding it to bit before it delivers the payload of combat heavy units to disembowel them. so shredding them in half, and having the marines pile out of the tank to melee them, and half their unit is still on the ground... so yeah...
