anyway....keeping back on topic.....

do you think they will allow dark reapers to use the fleet of foot ability when they revise the eldar codex? i mean, they get to use it and DoW, and i think it would make sense since they only have the 4+ armour and all. it only takes a predator to roll over the wall to spell doom for the relatively stationary dark reapers....
Doubtful, considering its a long range shooty unit.

too late I have a hammerhead, devilfish and 2 troops and an etheral. But they kick butt.

arm ur hammerhead with a railgun and keep it away from the enemy. blast the avitar with solid rounds, then take infantry out with submition rounds. piece of cake. (then again, i have a shitload of tau warriors to back it up, not just two troops and a devilfish, plus i never use etherals. tried that once, got him killed, half my army freaked. that suxed)

both, basicly they will kill anything in cc, but when S6 or above blast weapons start to rain, everything a harlequin player brings will DIE...

yeah, but i would still say any good (i.e. fast) eldar army could seriously disrupt that. think about deep striking swooping hawks to disrupt fire warriors, and then fast stuff like wave serpents with scorpians & fire dragons in them (especially for those hammerheads). and then you have eldar vehicles that move fast and are skimmers, so they can pop out from behind impassible terrain, put a bright lance (for tanks) or a starcannon (for troops) and then still only allow glancing hits if they move more than 6", so railguns are somewhat less effective.

point is, eldar are realllllly crafty when it comes to stuff like that, and they don't like being out-shot to much. they can hit your lines (with some covering fire) in 2 turns if you don't watch it.

Whats the best unit/equipment for taking out enemy tanks?
A squad of Vypers or war walkers with bright lances, with a farseer nearby with guide...

i would say the best thing would be a singing spears exarch with a bright lance since it is basically a bright lance that moves 12" and hits on a 2 or better.
now, realistically, i'd say probibly war walker(s) with bright lances and/or missle launchers. vipers are also very good for this since they move 24" a turn.
my personal favorite is a wave serpent full of fire dragons. even though you can't assult out of closed-top transports you can still unload and shoot (unless im mistaken). and i think fire dragons are more versitile then one or two brightlances anyway. if you want to get really anti-tank happy, you can also give the serpent twin-linked missle launchers or linked bright lances. now if thats not anti-tank, i don't know what is.

My idea was twinky... Although with the fire dragons you could fly over shoot with the WS next turn unload the FD move shoot charge if allowed. Also the WS could move and shoot again...

Why??? You play DE and they put the beat down on everything... Depending on the general of course... DE ARE the hardest army to beat in the right hands. If more people played them. There would be a lot more GD being won by DE. The guy in georgia who won GDAtl with his was going to bring Tau and at the last minute changed his mind. Good thing too. He won... DE rock, sure my 1800 points before wargear sits and collects dust. But I quit playing them when i found out I needed to pick up more raiders to make them efffective... Just my laziness really... Also I HATE painting the warriors...
