Baritones and tubas. I've never heard a good tuba or baritone player, ever. X: It bothers me.

It's not the french horns i hate. I love the sound. I just hate the french horn player. gaah. thank god she graduated. Quote: Baritones and tubas. I've never heard a good tuba or baritone player, ever. X: It bothers me. really? the geniuses in my band is the tuba player, baritone player, and percussionist. they're geniuses. the tuba and baritone players can play all bras and percussion instrument. and the percussionist is too smart for his own good. unfortunately they're seniors now.. so our band's gonna suck without them...

well last year it was the trumpets(just cuz they were alwayas the ones talking), but this year all of the trumpets in my class are really nice(and quiet most of the time), so I would have to go with drummers...they're kinda cocky...
Although I am not bashing my own section, I would have to say that us saxes can sometimes get a little loud(both with talking and with playing)

EtsukoNino Baritones and tubas. I've never heard a good tuba or baritone player, ever. X: It bothers me. Excuse me? One of my friends is a really good baritone player. And he plays all other brass except for french horn, mellophone, and trumpet. (not to mention some other stringed instruments similar to guitars...) I rather dislike some of our own percussionists though...they never shut up, don't stay in time, and one of 'em appears to have a hearing problem and always makes Hartmetz repeat himself several times.

I think the french horn sounds ugly, but the french horn players in our band are really cool, so it's okay.

In our school band the flutes are picked on, if anything goes wrong (even if its the weather) a sax player will always shout out "it was the flutes, damn flutes". this is only cause there are so many flutes..
its not my fault if most of the 8th graders suck. i'm good though!! mrgreen

I am personally not too fond of the saxophone, but I'm not sure that their is a section that the whole band hates.

Male trombone players. Have nothing against any of them, but in my band, they're rude, obnoxious, and pretty much stupid. The ONE girl trombone player, though, is awesome.
