*Linda sauntered in, a pair of swords swaying in time with the sway of her hips. She glanced around the crowed Taveren before weaving her way through the fall down dead drunken slops with a faint look of discust. Spoted Storm at a table and made her way throught the crowd towards her. She was halfway there before realizing that Storm wasn't alone. Infact she was with a neatly dressed human. Linda nodded in greetings to her and sat down, stealing a pair drink from a passing wench and downed it in three gulps then siped at the other on more slowly this time.* "And who might you be, Pirate?"

Hm, Hantore. I have no idea whatsoever. But there's something about those elves that I can't remember now matter how hard I try. But come Hantore we shouldn't be in a tavern should we not?

*Raised a finely plucked eyebrow and glacned around, shareing a small smile with Linda.* "My dear, aren't we in a tavern? And I am Storm, not Hantore. Hantore is our surely Dwarven friend."

Ah, of course. My apologies, Storm. I was never one so good with names. Why, I didn't even know my own name when I arrived here. Haha a pirate does need a name to live up to! I guess I shall sit and have drink then. Mary whistles to the bartendar for a bottle of rum. The bartendar nods and hands Mary a bottle.

*Happen to glance outside and saw the darkness.* "I need to go cetch a ship. I'll see you to later." *I tossed down a few gold coins, and made my way out of the bar and headed down to the docks.*

Gwendolyn remained seated casually sipping her drink. Well, miss, let's just say we weren't on such good terms before. And one more thing......me name's Gwendolyn. Mary was my sister but she got taken by the Kraken itself. I suppose I haven't been myself since I came here. But everything's normal now...or.. as normal as it can be.

"Gwendolyn..." *Linda seems to roll the famialr name around in her mouth, tasting it if that was possible. She cocked her head at the girl and siped her drink.* "Why do you have an elven name if your not an elf? And almost eveyone you will meet in this lifetime will have lost one or more people to the sea or sword or battle." *Linda just shruged noncommidalty.* "It's just a fact of life that your going to have to accept."

Philly entered the bar and took a seat at an empty table. The fighting and music had a calming effect on Philly as he watched the others in the bar. Several men were fighting while others were deep in conversation. As always there were many girls trying to seduce men to get money off of them and the drunks were lying all over the floor. Outside people were fighing and enjoying their life in the great port of Tortuga. Philly surveyed the scene once more looking for any pirates here able bodied and smart enough to sail under.

*Linda turned to look at the newcomer, her eyes seemingly serching jsut for him. She brushed a stray lock of midtnight black back behin one pointed pale ear, so pale it had a hint of blue to it reflected in her eyes and hair.*

Suddenly a big monster of a man quickly grabbed Philly's rum and downed it in one giant swig. Smashing the bottle against the floor he then confronted Philly:
"Mighty good of you to donate that there fine drink to me. *Laughs ridiculously* P'haps you have'n a hanker'in' ta git me another glass?!"
"Aye me matey, but then p'haps i be a have'n you git me a new bottle o' booze and then gettin' ur low-life face outta me sight. Savvy?"
The man looked down at the young man who had just insulted him. Philly was wearing just a beat up pair of pants and had no weapons on him. Suddenly the man yelled and let out two punches towards Philly. Philly had known this would happen and suddenly dropped to the floor before the man could hit him. He then grabbed a piece of glass from the bottle the man had smashed and popped up again. The man smashed a punch across Philly's face. Philly then sliced the man's chest and soon they were kicking up dust as the great brawl began. Onlookers wondered who would win: the stronger and larger man or the swift man with the piece of glass. Soon there was a great deal of betting on the outcome of the fight.

Jen quietly slipped into the tavern and quickly went to an empty table in a corner. She disliked the idea of being of much attention and was thankful that there seemed to be some sort of fight going on to distract anyone.

Gwendolyn continued her conversation with Linda. I don't know. I was the daughter of a fish merchant. She then turns around and points to Jen. Who are you to think that you could sneak around this tavern unnoticed? Come, sit with us. Have a drink.

Philly fought hard as he continued to dual the large man. His head was buzzing from three strong punches to the head and one kick in the chin, and yet he pushed the pain from his mind and continued his fighting. The large man had many scratches along his arms and chest from the broken glass Philly carried but showed no sign of weakening.
"Oi me matey ye sure do know ur fightin' i be a given you that. But ye can't beat me i be stronger than any lil' runt like ur cursaid self!"
"Aye ye may be large an' strong but that dont make thee winner! Ye be a bit too easy fer me! Step up the pace or ill step up the stakes! Savvy?"
The man then picked up a chair and prepared to throw it. Philly ran behind a table as the chair was hurled and splintered everywhere. Philly then rolled under the table to the other side and threw a piece of broken glass from the floor at the man. He was hit in his right shoulder and let out a yelp of pain followed by a quick gasp to control the pain as he pulled the glass from his shoulder. He, now furious, jumped on the table nearest him and jumped towards Philly. As the man flew he kicked the glass piece Philly had been using as a wweapon out of philly's hand and landed on Philly roughly. As Philly was brought down without a weapon he looked the man in the eyes and spat in the large man's face. In his fury the man began punching Philly in the stomach rapidly. Philly, having trouble breathing, then quickly grabbed one of the punches and twisted the man's hand backwards and up by his shoulder. In this position Philly could continue going back and the man would have to fall backwards with his hand to keep from hurting. The injury before from the thrown glass also magnified the vurnerability of the large man and he soon was on his back. The move hadn't hurt him much but had gotten him off Philly and now in a pathetic spot. Philly, with an expressionless look on his face, asked the man a question:
"Ello me matey. I be a wonderin' if you woulda happen'd ta kill me if'n ye got the chance?"
"Ye be a deserving death and an eternity o' rottin' in hell fer thee way ye disrespect me."
"Aye, but was it not ye who went and took me own possesion at first? Har ye wanted to kill me! I can't be a havin' that!"
Philly then stopped his friendly smile and looked at the man with a blank look on his face. He got up and walked away. As the large man got up Philly quickly turned and threw a sharp and thin piece of glass at the man. It whizzed through the air quickly and before anyone knew what had happened the large man was dead, with a piece of glass in his neck and Philly's rum in his stomach. Survival of the fittest, if Philly had let the man live then Philly himself would be in danger. Philly walked over to the bar and asked for some rum quietly eyeing the onlookers.
