Navalie noticed that once again Rai's eye color had changed. She didn't bother to take another piece bread. She just continued to gaze deeper and deeper into his eyes and then spoke up,"I Guess you could say that. And its not that I have met a whole bunch of people and didn't talk to them. It's just that I grew up without knowing many people and now I am just getting a better experience with more people than I was." she said as took a sip of water. "And I am not that shy. I usually go head dive to any newcomer I see...." she said as she began to drift off in talking. "I only tense up if I am afraid of something or I don't know what to do because of lack of experience with something. And Once I know someone I get talkative and my hyper side begins to show." she said as she grew a grin. "Yes, I know what to order. And this is what:'one large salad, ramen and for desert one strawberry milkshake." She said now raising her eyebrow.

She lowered her eyeybrow and she looked to Rai. She grinned noticing that she wasn't that hungry but she could stuff it down. She looked to each of her sides and decided that she wanted to do something else also noticing that it was late at night. She was also gettng tired and she was about to crash. Her eyes kept dropping and she had to force them to stay up. She then began to say something,"I really need some sleep and I am about to crash... It was nice to chat and get to know you. See ya later! Bye" she said and it was practically in a slur of words. She then got up and pushed her chair in. She then waved god bye and walked slowly out of the cafe ready to go get some sleep.

Rai silently eats his meal, never losing eye contact with Navalie before she leaves after the meal was over. He smiles at her as she leaves and stands up. he calls the waitress over and pays her before he leaves and heads towards the kara kara badlands to meet up with Kei.

Kinami walked into the cafe and peered about cautiously. It was essentially empty, only a few oldsters sitting and staring off into space. Deciding things were safe, Kinami scuttled to the bar and looked for signs of her old buddies- no doubt they wanted to shred her to bits. So long as she had prior warning, she thought she would be alright.
Someone hit her in the back of the head, shocking her and causing her to yelp. She spun to face Tai, who had a livid look on his face, and Mat. "What was that for?"
Tai gave her a flat look. "You were hospitalized." Kinami nodded with apprehension. "Again." Another nod. Silence reigned for a moment, before....
"You bloody idiot!" Tai's face was up close to Kinami's. "You know that, if you have any more episodes, even the tiniest bit, you're supposed to come here. That should be the first thing on your mind, not going to hide again in your tower." Apparently they had gotten the story in full, Kinami thought dimly. "...this happen again! Come on, we've been here for a rather long time, we've seen you at your worst, what more do you want!?"
By the end of his little tirade, Tai was breathing hard and had his hands clenched in fists at his side. He was trembling with supressed emotion, and Kinami was as subdued as he was furious.
Mat reached up to touch Tai's shoulder, calling his lover's attention to him. "Table fifteen needs help."
Tai spared a moment's fury-filled glance thrown to Kinami, and then he spun and stormed over, attempting to calm himself along the way.
Kinami sighed heavily as Mat pulled up next to her. Both spun to face the bar. "That was painful," the brown-haired Kage commented to her friend.
Mat smiled softly. "Sorry about that. He was just worried. We both were."
Kinami nodded. "I know, I know." She had seen the concern and frantic emotions that had been badly conceled behind the elder man's eyes. "I'd apologze if it did any good."
Mat shook his head. "No. He'll calm down somewhat, but he was right." Kinami winced as the blonde's intense gaze was affixed to her form. "Why didn't you come here? It wasn't like you weren't in a position to- and don't try to tell me that you didn't want to interrupt anything." He smiled softly, a motion echoed by the woman beside him. "Nor can you say that you ought to be able to handle this. Even knowing what we do, not many people could've gone through all that and come out as sane as you were."
Leaning on the counter, Kinami chewed on her lip for a moment. "I wasn't exactly in the best state of mind at the time. I wasn't thinking straight, and there's no way you can shoot that down," she pointed out, talking over Mat's protest. "It's the truth. And, really, I feel like I'm imposing on you guys." She held up a hand to forestall anything he would say. "I had a lot on my plate, and I've gone to you and Tai so much over the past years...I need a new outlet. I guess I realized that in the back of my mind, so I never came because of my own guilt."
Mat nodded. "It makes some sense. So we'll just have to remedy that, won't we?"
Kinami laughed. "I'm sure half the village will opt for that help, most of them being concerned mothers or nurses and other medical staff wondering what mystery could be in my past to make me the way I am." Her laugh became bitter. Crossing her arms, Kinami laid her head upon them and blew a strand of hair out of her eyes.
Mat patted her back reassuringly. "We'll find someone, alright? As soon as Tai calms down, I'll explain things and then we can scour the village for the perfect soul." This time it was his turn to interrupt Kinami. "Don't worry, we'll choose someone we think can handle your dark and twisty past, and still come out as innocent as they were before from the experience. There's got to be at least one person out there like that."
Kinami snorted. "No doubt there, I'm sure."
Mat stood. "How about I get you something, then? On the house."
As he wandered to the back kitchen, Kinami called after him, lifting her head. "If it's on the house, it's no longer sanitary, you jerk!" Mat's laughed answered her.

Roy walked into the cafe. He was hungry really and it was too far back to his house. He knew the dangers of entering this place, specially without someone older to distract the two perverted child molesters a.k.a. the owners. He looked about before stepping in. It was relativly quite. He looked about and saw only one of the owners at the bar with someone Roy couldn't make out because some people were passing by at that same time. Roy grinned, this was the perfect oppurtunity to get in and get some food and get the hell out.
He thought about using Henge but then realized he had no clue where Kinami was and he couldn't dream of doing something to hurt her like that again. His face went pale with the thought of those events and hurting Kinami. He wouldn't have stood longer but his cover was almost gone. He shook his head and headed over toward the table using passing patrons as cover. He sat and waited to be served, hoping neither of the owners saw him.
((But this is RP, so of course, they saw him))

Kinami's eyes scanned the room idly, bored without having anything to do. Tai was storming back and forth, moving from patron to patron. Most were used to his moodswings, but a few newer customers probably wouldn't be back unless Mat did damage control. Tai was currently descending on a newcomer, and with amusement, Kinami realized it was Roy.
At the table, Tai scowled at the wall. "What do you want?" he snapped, folding his arms with a stormy look on his face. "Speak up now or get the hell outta my restaurant."
Debating whether or not to help Roy, Kinami turned enough to watch while resting her head once more upon her arms. She decided to wait and see what would happen, and whether or not Tai was volatile enough at the moment to bite someone's head off.

Roy was discovered. This wasn't good. He was expecting to be picked up and glomped but realized this wasn't the right one for that to happen. This was the grumpy one. But before Roy could take that as a sigh of relief, he was nearly chomped off.
"Erk....what?!" Roy had his head low and he looked to Tai for a moment. His mother had handled guys like this in the past...with a punch to the face but Roy wasn't that strong and so he stayed seated however he didn't appreciate it one bit. "Sir, I haven't done anything to anger you. I'd appreciate it if you didn't catch an attitude with me. If you have problems, please go handle them on your own time. If you hate your job, quit. If your not getting laid enough, your boyfriends back there, go have your fun. Just don't take it out on me." He wasn't stupid enough to say things like this without a backup plan. He had a Kunai already drawn under the table, blunt side up so he could smake the guy if he tried anything.

Tai's face darkened even more. "Don't try to tell me that I hate my job, nor do you ever mention Yamato again. I love it, I love him, I goddamned love them both." He threw up his hands in annoyance. "And really, when you haven't seen a friend for a while, and come to find that she tried to kill herself...how do you expect me to react, brat!?" His temper was getting the better of him, he knew that, and he didn't do a thing about it. "Now order or leave."
Kinami hummed to herself without picking out any one melody. Tapping the table, she smiled at the tasty smells coming from the back room. This brought her back to the old days in camp, when the two would come up with the oddest concoctions. Most of the time the risks they took were delicious...and then there were the times when, where they weren't making them sick, they tasted just plain wierd. Kinami's eyes unfocused as she remembered the good times, a small smile shining on her face.

Kei stepped into the cafe and looked around. A little ways off she saw Roy...getting his head chewed off. And further off she spotted Kinami. Raising one eyebrow she figured Kinami couldn't be that deaf...so she walked towards Roy to see if she could help in any way...

Roy looked to the guy. Apparently he was a good friend of Kinami's. Roy had forgotten that part. It came back to him now that she was the reason he got glomped to begin with. He groaned adn looked to the guy then starte to shoo him away. "Gimme a minute. I need to think and...well...I gotta be honest dude. You standing there isn't gonna make me do it any faster...I'm serious, I'm gonna need you to back up off me 'fore something bad happens." This guy was really starting to erk Roy and it didn't help any that he heard the toneless hum of the Kage in the distance. He knew she was enjoying this a bit too much.

Kei advanced on the two within seconds. "Hey Roy." She looked at the other guy. She'd never met him before, and by the look on his face she didn't think she'd ever want to...

Tai turned his glare onto the new girl, staring down at her. He knew his temper was getting out of control, he knew it....He spun on his heel and stormed to the back room, slamming the door to show his ire.
Mat brought out Kinami's food, a bonanza of tastes, and raised his eyebrows at Tai's tantrum. "Maybe I should go talk to him before he does permanent damage to our business," he said idly.
Kinami grinned as she snagged a pair of chopsticks, sitting up straight. "All it takes is fifteen minutes." She ducked the swing aimed at her, grinning cheekily. She watched him leave, then tucked into her meal without a further thought.
