"I see you are back and found the little dude. Des, this is Zoe." Hula Bob pointed to Zoe as she watched them. He smiled and nodded to both.
Zoe waved. "Hello again and nice to meet you Des." She hadn't seen a Naiad since Aquamarine. She was a child and the naiad a toddler

"Hello Zoe" He kicked the shell over Chaos and laughed alittle "I found him hiding under some rocks"

Hula Bob shook his head. "Des, you ready to learn to surf yet?" He asked the naiad with a smile and giggle.
Zoe smiled. "That's nice. Oh yeah? Why were you under a rock?" She asked Choas but looked to Des, because she figured Des would answer.

"I don't know, I'm a salamander, rocks interest me for some reason, it's part of this feral thing I guess?"
"Sure, but I don't need a board, I've been watching how it works" He looked at Zoe "Uh, I don't know either" He flipped bak into the water and swam backwards with his tail

Hula bob nodded to Des. "Well, that may be but nothing beats sufing on a board. Or else it's not surfing." Hula Bob wasn't trying to be mean or anything he was just a purest.
"Are you ever a pae?" Zoe asked. Maybe he wasn't really one. She thought he was when she saw him, but she couldn't have been wrong. Maybe he was just like Maui.

"I am, I'm just in my feral form right now, there's other Pae'il that can transform into animals too" He kept his bodying from wiggling around with nervousness
"But being around water could make my tail appear again, I'd just slip off when my feet got went" He splashed around as his tail made him swim backwards faster

"Oh, ah... I haven't met them I guess." Zoe shurgged. She just flet odd talking to a little lizard thing. Not that he was odd, just she hadn't been in that situation before.
Hula Bob nodded though he wasn't sure that's how the necklace worked, but he wasn't a Naiad so how did he know. "Well, that's too bad then as that's surfing."

"Neither have I, but it seems there are others that hace similar powers to other Pae'il, Your's just seem to be a different type of power"
"I know, but I think the necklace only works on land, it might be like when my tail is dry it turns into legs and when they're wet they turn into a ttail?"

Zoe shook her head. "Oh, yeah I know that." Zoe knew very well that all had different powers even if a few were similar. "Mine is mist."
Hula Bob shurgged. As he thought before he wasn't a naiad and only met a few. He didn't know.

"Oh then you're like this other Pae'il I knew, he could control shadows" He started to feel calm now, maybe talking and learning about this girl made him see she wasn't like the other girl. He grew back into his Pae'il form and sat down in the sand
"I can still ride the water and look what I can do with my tail" He slapped his tail around rapidly and created a few waves, too small to surf on though

"Maybe, I can move a little fresh water too." She giggled and made a few bigger waves for Des. "So, that's what you really look like. Much nicer." Zoe giggled again with a smile.
"That's awesome. Being on the water always is. One day I'd love to surf a real ocean." Hula Bob knew that would never happen. He never left the beach let alone the whole isle.

"I don't talk too many peole so I'm use to hiding in that form" He didn't want to tell her the truth just yet, it would seem kind of odd saying he was hidng because he was afraid of someone he didn't even know "No one really likes salamanders, so it's easy to be ignored when you want to get away from the world"
"I heard the ocean is a big palce, you could get lost in it, maybe that's why no one leaves the island, they're afraid of getting lost?" He laid on his belly and rode the wave as it moved his forward his tail waving around happily as he closed his eyes

Zoe nodded. "Yeah, I haven't met many people yet. I thought I would being the granddaughter of Jazz and hanging out at a bar, but no." Zoe had really wanted to meet others. Ones that weren't related to her or Hula Bob's family. Because they were like related anyway. "Well, they are sorta slimy and stuff."
Hula Bob nodded and smiled. "Yes, that could be why. It would be a bummer to get lost and never get home again."

((Took alittle break from Gaia, but atleast it wasn't one of my long breaks sweatdrop ))
"Yeah, but I didn't create salamanders or choose this power, I just found I had this power and the only use for it is hiding" He sighed and a shook his head "Everyone can use their power to do great things, but what can I do as salamander?"
"Yeah and I think there's big fish out there that could eat Pae'il in one bite, then must be as big as the island?" He continued to glide on the wave until it fell down and he dove down below the water, popping back up a few minutes as he resurfaced, his necklace falling below his scaly chest and dipping back into the water "I wonder why the guardians don't tell us about the world on the other side of the ocean, maybe there isn't anything besides this place?"

"I only make mist and it too is best for hiding." Zoe giggled as she made mist around her so you couldn't see anything. She then stopped it. "So, it's about the same really."
Hula bob shrugged. "Well, this is only a lake. There is only a ocean of sky for this isle. I don't know what's beyond it. Bummer." Hula Bob didn't even know what was beyond the beach or lake anyway.
