Talitha cringed at the sound of him cracking his neck but smiled. "Well I am glad that I have stayed around. Life will kick back up, always does."

*he smiled at her* True. *he sighed again* Life is also full of risks, many of which are optional. In your opionion is it better to take the risks or keep yourself safe?

*he tilted his head back and looked at the ceiling* There are many definitions of safety. It isn't always of the body but of the mind. I belive the wounds to your emotions cut deeper than any physical weapon.

I've taken many such risks in my life, and have the scars to show it. *he looked to her* I belive I have shared most of them with you, but very little have you shared with me. If you speak of them it may be easier to deal with them.

She stared down at her lap and smiled then looked back up at him. "There is nothing really to share, I.." She shrugged. "..just travel. I stayed here though because I have made friends."

*he walked over to the bar, grabbing a coke for her and a vodka and mountain dew for himself. He walked back over and handed her the coke.* The place is quiet.
