Meg stood next to her mother, quite confused about everything that was going on. It seemed the opera ghost was partial to Christine, so there must be a reason...Why hadn't Christine mentioned anything to her? Also, why was her mother even presenting Carlotta singing the role as an option? Meg did not understand WHY the public adored La Carlotta so well. Her voice, while technically not often off-key or anything, was less than pleasing to say the least. It reminded her of one time when the stagehands were having a problem with a set, and it scraped against the floor, making a screeching sound that caused the entire cast to cover their ears and wince. She decided to ask her mother about it later, and to certainly speak to Christine as soon as possible. What if her best friend was in trouble?

The managers looked between each other. Firmin came forward, "Well, we cannot have a dispute with the public, if Carlotta shall please them...although I must say Miss Daae would please them much more...But for now, we will allow Carlotta to have the part of the Countess. Hopefully there will be no problems with this." Adnre nodded in agreement, not eager to displease the public and put up with what he had already witnessed to be Carlotta's high-pitched whining.

Erik returned to his lair, where he was finally able to relax for a moment. All of this stress was giving him a head ache, even if his heart ached more from being appart from his beloved. He dropped down on his wooden bench that rested before his fine organ. A few sheets of music had dropped to the ground from all of the sudden movements upstairs, which sent wind rushing through the vents. He sighed deeply and rested his head upon the keys of the insturment before dozing for a few moments.

Carlotta violently threw open the double doors. Piangi and her maids surrounded her. She stormed towards the two baffled managers standing on the staircase...
"Where is he?" She demanded.
Seeing their bewildered looks she continued more furiously still.
"Your precious patron -
where is he?"
She would through them a BIG tantrum this time...

Firmin replied to Carlotta, places a reassured hand on her shoulder. "Over there, Madam," he said, gesturing to a figure that was emerging toward them in the foyer. Andre nodded in agreement as the younger man drew near.

He hasnt been on since Tuesday and I was starting to worry......but you didnt need to know that redface ....anyways....Ive pmed our Raoul a few times, and he wont respond...So I dont know what we are gonna do....anyone interesting in posting for Raoul for a few posts? Its the only solution I can think of for the moment.....Unless he decides to come today...))

((No one panic! I have returned! Well...sorta. My computer is still down, but it seems like it's going rather slow around here. I'd post if I had something to do with this scene after all. sweatdrop Anyways. C'mon what happened? Someone hasn't been keeping up with their parts... stare ))
