Kei took the glass and drank the whole thing in two gulps. Pausing to choose her words the best... and to keep from cracking, she whispered. "Rai got into a little accident... and I was in the way..."

Kei just glared at him. " He's not my lover... and he's not fine either... he'll probably die... with the wounds he sustained..." She started shaking again. she continued her pacing, breathing deeply as she went...

Kei shook her head. "The doctors kicked me out of the hospital... they said I would get in the way... I don't blame them... I'm always in the way..."

Kei shuddered, she wasn't used to people being nice to her... even when Rai was... it didn't feel natural. She tried to keep herself from crying. It was hard, but she managed... "Why do things always have to happen to the people I care about...? Why can't it just happen to me instead... I would gladly take their place... No doubt about it..."

Okichi appeared in the building. She had pulled down the neck cover of her light armor and straightened the sword on her back so it was vertical. The Amegakure headband was visible in front of her neck, and the Sunagakure one was visible in the back.
"I'm from Amegakure, I'm on official business of the Kage.. Can I speak to the Kage please?" She tryed sounding as official as possible.

Kei smiled slightly. " Not when the people you love could care less that you exist... You have no idea what my life is like do you Roy?" She looked at him with slight curiosity...

Headband: Armlets on both wrists have the Amegakure symbol on them.
Height: 7'2
Weight: 197 lbs
Hair: Blond mohawk of about 2 feet long.
Eyes: Yellow
Physical Description: Massively tall, he is very lean, and has extremely thick skin. His skin is a normal color.
Clothing: Black tank top, blue ripped and faded jeans, a chain from the front pocket to the back. The ANBU mask he wore had blue lightning bolts jolting out from the corners of the eyes, and a pink star on the right cheek. His mask has a filter on it that distorts his voice and prevents airborne poisons.
Background: He was born deep in the rainforests near Amegakure, he still lives there, although he is now an ANBU of the village. Nothing is known about him, except that he is truly mental.
Personality: Mental. Crazy. Insane.

Other: Pink star tattoo on his right cheekbone. Blue dragon snaking up his right arm. Blue flock of birds flying up his left arm, fading as they go higher. Nose piercings (both sides). Ear rings.


Kryobi entered the office quite loudly, and saw a Bunshin of Okichi's. With a Bunshin already here, there was no point in staying. On the way out, he caught a maid by the arm, jerking her back to face him.
"Where is the Kage?" he asked in his mechanical voice.

"Uh.. pp. p. sh... she . she's up h.. hi.. hiding in the moun.. mountains, I believe." The young girl pushed off him, and he released his grip on her arm.

Kryobi walked back out of the building, bumping a few more people into the walls.

Kinami sighed and leaned back, stretching her arms and rotating her head. Her neck had a kink in it, her hand was cramping something horrible, her eyes were becoming incredibly strained...and she still wasn't done with all her work. This was why she had avoided it for so long, in favor of running away and going to train with the academy or with a genin team.

Rubbing her eyes, she picked up her pen again. She was going to age prematurely at this rate.... Looking at the scroll she was pouring over, she re-read the report on the attack a few months before.

Preliminary searches turned up nothing. Kinami had tried to send messages to other villages, but having not yet received an answer after three months, she worried that they had been intercepted. In that case, the people who had carried them were probably killed. She would have to notify their families of the possibility that they were widowed, or orphaned, or an only child....

And then she still had genin teams to organize. The students were graduating, so they needed cells. The faster they were trained, the better they could defend themselves. She couldn't stop the natural flow of training and graduation, after all. She just hoped they all survived to find true happiness....

The refugees were having it hardest, it seemed. Most of that district had been destroyed, and they were still rebuilding things. They were ahead of schedule, for sure, but they still had a good two months before everything was cleaned up and rebuilt.

Sighing heavily, Kinami began to scratch down notes of the report. She had a stack of these to finish, and then she could take a small dinner break and then it was back in her office until the early hours of the morning, at which point she could sleep.
