*Fire turned her head toward the vampire's voice and growled*
Nice to see you again too nightwalker! Is this what your "clan" has you doing now? Cleaning old taverns hmm?
*The lycan chuckled as she turned away, swooshing her tail in a manner of disrespect toward the old vampire. She continued to cling on to wrin like it was the only thing sane in the whole place. *
*Suddenly she stops. An overwhelming feeling came over her and her heart started to beat faster. She had spotted him. All she could do was just stare at him blankly.*

Gatts grits his teeth as a bit of blood trickles from the odd looking brand on the back of his neck. Shifting in his seat, he shoots a cruel look across the room towards the vampire and werewolf.
“What the hell is going on here?”

*The old warewolf detected a slight scent of blood in the room. Still she did not move, she just turned her eyes toward the scent and growled under her breath. The lycan's hair on her tail stood up like an aggrivated cat, she didn't like that scent one bit!*

Rhodes *Rhodes takes her now full bucket and places it on the floor, after adding a few drops of cleanser, she sinks her mop into the liquid and begins to do the floors.Once the floors are complete she dusts with a rag she found in the cabinet. The last thing on her list is the linen which although, don't need much cleaning could at least use a trip to the laundry. When she removes the pillow cases she is relieve to find that they are free from holes or any other damage, it remarkable to think that after alll this time everything is in such great condition. The old vampire collects all the linens and hobbles to the stair case. The stack is fairly large but akward which hides the path in front of her easily. The first stair case was trouble, but upon reaching the second one it proved difficult. She took two bogged-down steps til her left foot caught a sheet that had fallen loose. Instantly she tumbled down the stairs and landed in a pile on the floor. She sighed heavily at all the spilt linen.* "oh crap.." *She ran her hand through her hair then leaned over and started to pick up her mess.* ((my last two post were kind of boring.. oh well had to clean the place.)) *Aykon jumps at the sudden crash and immediately rushes over to help Rhodes clean up the towels. He just laughs lightheartedly and then helps pick up the steps*There, there, Rhodes, no reason to cry over split linen...I would ask if you are ok but I already know the answer to that question. *Aykon finishes picking up the towels and then returns to Zoph*------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zophlin Zophlin sighs disheartedly, and sips his drink. Oh, alright. I had really just wanted a look, hadn't planned on staying in it, but if they're pretty much all the same, then sure I'll take a room. He smiles widely trying to mask his disappoinment at not being able to see the VIP suit. *Aykon nods to Zoph and then offers and encouraging nod*Oh, don't worry, I can show you a VIP room but not at this exact instant. If you really want to see it I can show you...ah...why not. *Aykon leads the man to the VIP suite between Spike's room and Nisso's room. He explains to Zoph about his no shoe policy in the rooms or upstairs and waits for him to comply. Once both are unshod he takes him into the room*
*The first thing that Zoph will notice is that the floor is most inviting to a sore traveler's feet and likely to their body. The rooms is wall to wall padded with fine and soft angelic tatami rugs of a light tan color, sans the bathroom and the entryway where shoes are placed*
*In the center of the room is a large bed that is upraised about 2 feet from the ground and seems to be made of an even more welcoming type of tatami. To the touch it feels like pure air with no barriers, if you fell asleep then you would not want to wake up for some time.*
*The next thing he shows is the decent sized desk near the back patio door with light and chair of the finest cherrywood the world has to offer and he also opens the door to show that there is a private and enclosed patio with sitting room for two and high bamboo walls*
*He pauses a moment and then shows you the bathtub which is more like a bath pool, it is about 10 feet in diameter with statues of a woman and her child with buckets as the spigots and the highly polished silver faucet controls for the water.*
*He smiled and then led the man back out of the room, reshodding himself and letting the man do likewise. He then led him out of the room and locked the door.*Well, there you have it Zoph, these rooms rent for 1000G per night and there is no deals for extended stays. I suppose you could rent it were you to choose but the other rooms are not as big but still just as nice. What do you think? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rhodes *While picking up her mess a distinct smell waffs through her nostrils. In an instant her hand had dropped the pillowcase and reached for the revolver hidden snuggly in it's holster under her skirt.* "Fowl disgusting beasts.." *Althought she had left the clan for a while, her 'programming' still enforced her already present dislike for the werewolf kind. She waited patiently with her eyes slightly closed, sniffing and listening to the heartbeat of the creature. It was rapid and worried but what surprized this vampire more was the familiarity behind the smell. There had been only one of those beasts she could ever socialize with and worse of all befriend. She remembered the flogging she recieved from the elders when they found out the tasty bit of information. Rhodes withdrew her grip on her gun with a grin and opened her eyes to look directly at her old friend.* "About damn time you showed up, you filthy loathsome beast." Fire *Fire turned her head toward the vampire's voice and growled* Nice to see you again too nightwalker! Is this what your "clan" has you doing now? Cleaning old taverns hmm? *The lycan chuckled as she turned away, swooshing her tail in a manner of disrespect toward the old vampire. She continued to cling on to wrin like it was the only thing sane in the whole place. * *Suddenly she stops. An overwhelming feeling came over her and her heart started to beat faster. She had spotted him. All she could do was just stare at him blankly.* ... Rhodes "Oh shut up you asslicking puppy dog! I am helping out Aykon by taking over the hospital." *She picks up the last sheet off the floor and proceeds to the laundry facilities, grinning. Playful banter was fun* *He smiles and then walks into the corridor at the exact point he heard "Asslicking puppy dog" and he instantly busted into the room and eyed Rhodes.*Rhodes...what the hell was that a....bou...t. *He now sees that it appears to be banter between Rhodes and Fire...funny that his old flame had come back after he was so far from Kikyo but he was convinced that he would not give in...biting his lip he looks to Fire and chirps out his usual statement with a twist*Ah! Fire-san! Please do not ignite the fires of my workers and patrons...and Welcome BACK to the DarkSeas Harbor Inn and Tavern! How Can I help you? *Aykon could tell that Fire was completely different now, she was darker, more twisted, she hadn't taken him up on the chance for a cure and had let it advance. Even if he were single, there is no way this was the same person he used to love. And three years changes alot*Please, come in and have a seat! Would you like anything in specific? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bengal Having awoken from another brief nap, Bengal watches idly from the cieling. "Tut Tut, children. Such language! Am I going to have to separate you two?" *On his way to the bar, Aykon raps lightly on Bengal's table and smirks*Sumimaisen Bengal-san, please forgive Fire and Rhodes, they are...well...good friends who happen to be worst enemies...it is complicated...I am sure you can figure it out though. *He continues to walk on up to the bar, motioning for Zophlin to come as well*--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fire *The Lycan pays no attention to the old vampire or the voice above her. She just continues to stare at him not moving, not breathing...* ... *The old WEREwolf detected a slight scent of blood in the room. Still she did not move, she just turned her eyes toward the scent and growled under her breath. The lycan's hair on her tail stood up like an aggrivated cat, she didn't like that scent one bit!* *Aykon pauses about five feet from Fire and seems to be unafraid despite your obviously darker appearance, he didn't seem phased in the least*I said "Welcome Fire-san! Come over here and have a drink, I am sure you have things to talk about....lots of things. Or, you might want to at least breathe. *At this point, for no apparent reason, a tiny gust of wind whirls up to Fire's nose and causes her to breathe out of simple reflex*
*he then notices the aggrivated tail stance and shakes his head, she really hadn't changed much at her core, she just looked a little different*
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gatts The black swordsman grits his teeth again, growling a bit himself. At the same time he slowly reaches up for the hilt of the sword on his back. He watches the women carefully, assessing the situation. More monsters? *Almost the instance that Gatt's hand touches his sword, Aykon shoots him a cold look, it was nowhere near enough to really do much to this man other than show how deep Aykon's disdain was. Yet for a reason that Gatts can't understand, this man does seem different from other people that looked as he did* Excuse me sir... There is no need for drawing weapons, I have control of the situation utterly and I request that if you wish to stay much longer in my establishment that you place your weaponry in a place that is not within these walls...it IS in the rules you know! *At this, Aykon points a finger to the rules above the bar in giant letters that can be seen across the room.
Rules 4.)There are NO WEAPONS allowed in the building, you may check them at the front closet.
*Aykon then looks to Fire and Rhodes and points his finger at the rule directly above the one he had just pointed to Gatts*
Rules 3.) Please Be RESPECTFUL! Sure, you may have a chip on your shoulder, but don't start any fights either verbal or physical. If you are considered to be harrassing others, you will be asked to leave.
And although I am happy to see you visiting Fire, I will ask you to leave...previous family or not and Rhodes likewise until you can settle your differences. Please just cool it and relax...that is all I ask.
*At this, Aykon sat on his barstool and lit a smoke, waiting for Zoph to finally make it over*
((Whew that was a lot of posts!))

*Just as Aykon had spoken to her the second time, her tail stopped flaring up and she took her eyes off the person with that scent. She cocked her head to the side and smiled. It was a fake smile, but she always had to put on a show. "Same old Aykon" she thought to herself. "Always acting like there was no past in his life!"*
Fire-san you say? Hmm...always...
*She turned away from him acting like she didn't care and walked to one of the stools at the bar*
Aykon, you know Rhodes and I don't really mean anything, I can't help my instincts ya know?!?! She is a freakin vampire if you haven't already noticed. My word!
*She took a seat on the stool and blankly looked at the floor. There's her sarcasm again. She never could "play" nice. Not even to the man she loved.*

Taking a note of the other presences he felt, he then removed his shoes and looked inside the room. He had to admit the room was grand indeed anyone for a creature such as the one he was in company with. As Aykon went on to explain the rates Zophlin's attention drifted back to the other VIP guest. In one room the presence he sensed felt..odd, and could only guess this was the mysterious Spike Aykon had mentioned. As he finished up his last sentence, Zoph gave a heartiy blush.
Wow a thousand bucks a pop, the room is beyond lovely, but to rich for my blood. I think I'll take one of the other rooms, but thanks for showing me.
Giving another one of his winning smiles, he replaces his shoes and follows Aykon back to the bar. Feeling all the tension as he reemerges he doesn't let it phase him and takes his seat back at the bar.
So who's this Spike fellow, is he the one I saw leave earlier?

Gatts The Black Swordsman

At first it seemed the black swordsman was ignoring the silly little inn keeper, as he continued to glare at the vampire and the werewolf. Then, after a moment, he responded in a deep, low tone. So weapons aren’t allowed, but monsters are? He asked the question without ever looking away from his targets. However, the situation only escalates when one of them comes towards the bar. Before she can even make it halfway across the room, he bolts to his feet and sweeps his cloak to one side while brandishing the massive sword known as the Dragon Slayer. The six foot long, one and half foot wide, two hundred pound black iron greatsword, which is now pointed at her, is ample reason to come no closer. Hold it right there! Now I’m not so sure why everyone’s acting so damn cheeky, but ever since red here showed up this accursed brand of mine’s been bleeding, and normally that means it’s monster killing time. However, the atmosphere somehow feels different this time, but it my line of business you don’t take chances, otherwise you end up dead. So somebody better get to explaining real damn quick or else heads are gonna fly. For some reason, for one of the first times in his life, he was hesitating to massacre what seemed to be more of the fiends that had taken so much from him. Perhaps it was the strange feeling in his gut, that maybe he was somehow wrong about them, which would only lead to make things even more confusing. Ever since he had been thrown through that rift, he’s had the vague impression that he wasn’t anywhere even remotely close to Midland anymore, if even the same world. Perhaps his normal line of logic didn’t apply here. However, he wasn’t about to just let some creature exuding the same aura as one of those monsters come anywhere near him, without first being dead positive it didn’t need a proper extermination.

Rhodes *laughs lightly* "Right right Aykon" *plops down in a random seat to wait for the laundry* *Aykon nods and then chuckles, recalling some of the jokes from the past, he recalled that although they tended to argue both Rhodes and Fire had always gotten along.*-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fire *Just as Aykon had spoken to her the second time, her tail stopped flaring up and she took her eyes off the person with that scent. Not even to the man she loved.* *Aykon could tell that Fire was simply pasting a face of happiness on but he respected her attempt*Well, I would think that calling you anything else would be disrespectful, wouldn't it? *Aykon nods about the banter as he had recalled*Of course you guys argue like normal, I just hadn't see you two together in a while. Forgive me for forgetting. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zophlin Taking a note of the other presences he felt, he then removed his shoes and looked inside the room. So who's this Spike fellow, is he the one I saw leave earlier? *Aykon noted that Zoph had returned and smiles after he notes his tactic was a success*Yes, I told you that the rooms were not cheap in that area, they are usually saved for visiting nobles and such but since they don't come around often they are being used by those who might or might not stay. But you are welcome for the tour. *Aykon then begins to look over a large book with names and numbers in it*How many days did you want a room for? Oh, and yes, Spike is the one that left earlier. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gatts At first it seemed the black swordsman was ignoring the silly little inn keeper, as he continued to glare at the vampire and the werewolf. *When the smoke clears, there is now about 10 feet between Gatts and the werewolf, the massive Dragonslayer was now pointed up from a mighty enough blow to do so.*
*The "silly little inkeeper" was between Gatts and the woman with a 20 foot barrier of iradescent light between himself and her and was holding his hands slightly upward with a very angry look on his face. His voice was no longer happy, it was venomous*The only monster here is you! Heath...Fire ... may have the blood of a monster, but she isn't one. She's a beautiful and intelligent woman whom I care for deeply! And NO ONE messes with my customers! I say! Good Day sir! You need to leave NOW! IF you don't it will get ugly! *Despite his appearance, Gatts would feel that this person is not just bluffing he meant business...whether or not he could match the Dragonslayer was not as important as the fact that he was completely and utterly fearless in the presence of the massive man and his massive sword*((Sorry Gatts, you don't mess with Aykon's friends and get away with it!))

Fire-San...was not what I wanted to hear from you Aykon, that is all.
*Fire frowned a bit and started to turn away. Just then, the man with the sword and her love were in a heated battle of a sorts. She didn't know what was going on. Fire was so distracted talking to Aykon, she had no idea why this man with the scent was so heated. Sure, the scent of his blood didn't settle well with her, but why did she not settle with him? Still, dispite all the commotion, Fire still put her input on the matter with her sarcasm again.*
Silly little man with the big sword, why so angry? It's not everyday you meet a vixen like me eh? Stop being a twit and put your toy down!
*The lycan laughed in a demeaning manner then looked to Aykon as he said the words she had hoped to hear from him. Not only did he almost say her real name, but he verbally expressed that he still cared for her. Although, Fire is no fool. She knew not to take what he said to heart. Aykon always was a fickle man when it came to his emotions.*
...
*Fire brushed off the feeling and sat back down on the stool. She looked toward Rhodes and rolled her eyes.*
Why does everyone hate me Rhodes?
*Rhetorical question or not, she knew Rhodes would understand with being somewhat of a "monster" herself.
