"Fantastic." Her voice sounded rather sarcastic. She knew she wasn't going to be able to completely have time to adequately heal. She looked at the ceiling fan and anger arched its way across her face.
She wanted to kill every last one. "Assault on who? Most of our people have pulled out, the growing numbers about unbearable...but moreso, they've aquired new weaponry somehow. It is in analysis right now..."

Alasdair felt Kaei’s frustration. He would be able to defend the territory, but if the battle started on the next few days, then his body would not be able to withstand the Void abuse. “I think we should close down the subway and establish a defense center. Set up some mini guns and have some men down there... Even if there aren’t many vampires down there, we can’t let those dogs steal our territory…We have to make an example out of them…Show them their place.” Alasdair replied to Kaei as he grinned at the thought of war.

"Oh..don't worry...we will definitely show them their place."
Rogue paused, her words were sharp with anger, but soft and controlled.
"I've been thinking on this for a while...I will need to speak with the other elders on this one. I don't care what they are doing right now...we will formulate a plan. Let them think they are taking whatever they are taking...and we'll let them.
We will hit them where it hurts later. Just keep an eye I'd suggest, but don't interfere..."

Alasdair looked a bit confused as Kaei talked about letting the subway fall. Why would she want to lose the subway? I can understand taking out something of theirs while they are busy taking out the meaningless subway, but to just let it fall… “Your word is law” Alasdair replied and bowed his head.
Even thought Alasdair and Kaei where on a further relationship than just a vampire and his elder, Alasdair still knew his place. Alasdair could not talk freely about disagreeing with her orders, no matter how much he loved Kaei, or the other way around.

"I know you probably disagree..." She looked into his eyes, her own beginning to glow a soft green. "I can see it in your eyes, Alasdair. But trust me..." A sadistic grin fell across her face. "They will pay dearly for crossing the line."

Alasdair looked into her emerald eyes; his violet eyes could see a soft glow. He wanted to say he didn’t understand why she was wasting an opportunity to erase their offensive forces, but he bit his tongue. He smiled at her, and gave a slight nod. “Whatever you wish to do…I shall be by your side.”

Rogue's eyes then returned to their deep emerald no longer glowing. "I think I'm going to rest a bit. Go out and have some fun...I will be all healed up soon enough."

Alasdair chuckled lightly as Rogue said to leave. He did not want to leave her side, but if she wanted to be left alone he would leave. “Do you want to be left alone?” Alasdair whispered to her as he began to stand up, his strength had fully returned.

"I just want to rest a bit. Thank you for sticking around...but it'd be good for you to get some fresh air."

Alasdair chuckled light as he finally stood up. With a smile on his face he bowed to her. He wanted to take a look at the subway, maybe find a lonely lycan who was easily defeated. It pained Alasdair to just let it fall without resistance, and let those unaware vampires die. “I will leave them…I will see you soon my love…And I am to stay away from the lycans in general? Or just the subway?” Alasdair stood straight and walked backwards to the door, not wanting to show her his back.

"The subway. Let them have their fun. Let them think that they've won something. I had a message sent to those still alive at their posts...The remaining vampires have been removed.
But kill as many as you like, unless you don't care to pick up the death dealers job."

Alasdair grinned at Kaei’s comment. He took a moment to consider her offer. Maybe he felt like going back to the death dealer job. He had been a death dealer before, he had told Kaei. He gave her a bright smile and bowed once again. “Thank you…Let me know as soon as you finish healing…See ya love.” Alasdair finished playfully then walked out of the Medical Room.

After Alasdair had left, Rogue fell into a deep sleep, the blood flowing into her body, an awkward sensation as things tried to regenerate, but at the same time, purging itself of the UV liquid that had rooted itself in her system. The UV was slowly being eradicated from her system, but it did burn, the small bits making its way out of her pores.
She slept for two or three days without waking, her mind full of memories of the night she had been beat to a bloody pulp, her own rage coursing through her veins. She also dreamt of the days when she was young, still human, learning how to paint. She remembered those first early lessons.
She dreamed of Cady Morthwyl, his debonair, his charm, his dark. She dreamt of him dying, and dreamt of his lessons on gliding through the night. He had given her the emerald necklace on a silver chain that she wore frequently.

Rogue woke, and sat up. Her body did ache anymore, though where a chunk had been taken from her side, a large pearl-like scar was in its place. Where the claws had made their mark on her face with the UV liquid, there were large pearl scars. It would take a while, but they would eventually go away. Where Jaden's claws had ripped the bones apart in her back there was also deep scars, but she could not see them, but knew they would be there.
She looked up then and slid, landing her feet on the floor. They were bare, as she was only wearing underwear and a bra. She pulled the needles out where the blood was flowing into her system, and walked out of the medical room and to her chamber.

Jean couldn't believe she made it here, but she did. Stumbling into the double doors, Jean pushed them open in a weak state and fell to her hands and knee's in a grunt. Nurse's and other medical personal on sight, rushed to her. Already used to Vampires coming in with similar conditions, they weren't shocked or stunned in any way. "It's going to be ok miss... We'll take good care of you." Jean scoffed inwards, on the verge of finally passing out, she knew they'd be true to their word. So she closed her eyes wanting nothing but sleep.
The feeling weightless and hands on her body. Jean felt her body being moved by a gurney no less and a deep voice speak incoherently.
"Looks like a damn gladding gun tore into her." "Doctor, there's a huge hole in her back that looks like it healed up some. I guess she didn't have enough strength to heal it all the way."
Jean was shoved to her side as they examined the harpoon wound, and then felt a needle penetrate her skin. As blood rush into her veins, she felt bullet's being pulled out of her and then clanging sounds followed as fragments were banging against metal.
Jean waved in and out of subconscience as they worked on her and her wounds, Jean felt herself slip back into submission. Giving her blood here and there to keep her alone, yet not so much that her body would regenerate before they got the remaining fragments out of her.
Hours later...
"Mmmm..." Jasie hummed as she opened her eyes, grateful that she was back in charge. In nothing but a gown, Jasie moved the covers off her and slid off the bed almost collapsing from her body still a bit weak. "Where are my clothes...?" Her thoughts were answered as she gazed at a hefty container. She rummaged through it making sure everything was there, grateful that her clothing was washed and all that she brought was still there. Jasie put on her clothing, put most of her weapons in a duffel bag that was placed by her bed... and opened up a window.
The night air ruffled up her hair bringing and smile to her tender soft lips, "Thanks doc..." And just to show her appreciation, she left a note for him as well.
Jasie jumped on the ledge and dove off into the night, no longer wanting to linger here. They did their job, and she was grateful. Now it was time to finally go home.
