Sora watched from where she stood, clenching her fists. There was nothing she could do right then; she'd interfere with the fight and that could cost Mergex. She watched Gordon closely, trying to see if she could figure out a way to defeat him. He had to have a weakness, and she was bound on finding it before anything bad happened.

Gordon charged again at Mergex but this time Mergex pulled the slip and appeared to the side of Gordon and kicked up sending his foot into Gordon's gut. Gordon fell to the ground but was picked up by Mergex and swung into the air.
Mergex watched Gordon land hard on the ground. He jumped up in the air and slammed into Gordon sending him further down. Mergex jumped away smiling. Gordon slowly got up and smiled. He spit out what appeared to be a tooth. mergex seemed to smile also. " He's fast when he wants to be." said Gordon in his mind.

Misa stood up and watched how the battle between SOra and her was over now. Hiding from place to place, she jumped into the water and looked for her staff. Once she grabbed her staff, she got out of the water slowly and carefully that she won't be noticed. And as before, she hid from place to place. She waved a small wave and left Crystal Moon Lake, looking forward to a nice relaxing time in her room as she headed toward the dorms.

Pander took the dagger back and pulled back his jacket. He slid the dagger back into it's sheath, making it very obvious that his wound was gone. He looked at her, stroking her cheek with his finger. He smiled.
No killing yourself. We will find a cure. So first thing is first. Jangen. Where did you put that Jeindel? The Gavil Kunst Fau Heavy Cav?
Why do you want that old thing? It's only good if it has an OS, which we don't have and can't get anymore.
We have you. I know of a guy, who knows a hacker, who could transfer you out of me and into the Heavy Cav.
If you can set it up so that it will work like a normal body for me then I can get there by myself.
Then lets go.
Yume, Ishi. Feel like helping?

Yume looked at him and used her other hand to keep his hand there. She smiled back at him.

Amon and Natsu say hi.
Say hi for me!
Ishimaru pulled up a screen from thin air and it showed Amon and Natsu. They seemed so grown up now...
Yume says hi.
Hi big brother! Hi Ishi! Hi Dirge and Jangen!
Everyone said their greetings and asked where they are. Amon and Natsu grinned.
This screen only works if the contact is within 20 feet. I suggest you start looking.

Two trees into this thicket and five to the left.
He pointed with his finger as he stood. His fluidic movement had returned. He poked his temple, laughing to himself. Dirge stood up, padding over to Pander. Pander jumped up, throwing his leg over Dirge so he could use his great great grandfather like a horse.
What do you think you're doing child?
Not walking, that's for sure.
Dirge growled but kept it quiet. He slowly moved forward, Jangen sending him directions with telepathy. Dirge was walking quite slowly as he wanted revenge for being used as a mode of transportation.

Yume loked at Pander. How had he known where Amon and Natsu were? She shook her head and looked at Dirge. He seemed resentful at having to be used as a horse.
Just stay calm Dirge. I'm sure you'll get him back somehow. Whether it's putting shaving cream in his pillow while he's sleeping, or if it's getting him to wear a pink ballerina tutu and prancing around the room.
Ishimaru and Yume looked around for Amon and Natsu and spotted them moving from tree to tree, laughing quietly. Normally, Amon would've been very mature about this and just sat in a tree or come out. Amon was only about a year or two older than Natsu, but he was still a child, and deserved to have some fun once in a while.Yume let her wings fold and plummeted towards the tree branch where Natsu and Amon were.
Ready Ishi?
As ready as I'll ever be.
The two of them spread their wings at the last moment and whisked the two children off the tree branch.
That's not fair Yume!
She's right Ishi.
The adults laughed and threatened to let go if they didn't be quiet. Amon reminded them that he had his own wings, and could fly perfectly well. Ishi dropped Amon and watched his silver wings fly open. He called to Yume to drop Natsu, and with some hesitation, she let her fall. Amon caught her hand and transferred some energy to her so that she'd float.

Dirge let out a thundering roar and took off, his feet slamming into the ground as he ran, dodging trees with ease. He was heading for the village. With the speeds he had achieved, he was at the base of the mountain in minutes. Pander still sat on Dirge's back, his back errect as he sat there.
That's it?
Pander jumped off Dirge's back and looked at the large marking on the stone face of the mountain. It was Jangen's insignia. He placed his hand on the carving and it pulled away, leaving a large opening. He walked through.
Lights came on, revealing the large room. Sitting on a table was the Heavy Cav unit. It would need a good overhaul and oiling, but it would work well enough. Without waiting, Pander pulled off his jacket and began to check the tightness of bolts with a wrench.

Gordon got ready to attack again until Mergex eyes flashed a bright light which blinded Gordon. Gordon rubbed his eyes trying to see. Suddenly he felt someone grab him from behind. Mergex got Gordon in a bear hug and squeezed him.
Gordon screamed loudly as he felt him self being crushed. He tried to struggle but Mergex just held tighter. He then started slamming his elbow into Mergex's ribs. Mergex griped loosened but he tried to keep on. When gordon hit at full force it knocked Mergex back.
He held on to his now brusided ribs but had no time to rest as Gordon kicked him in the face causing purple blood to fly on the ground. Mergex slowly got up. He wiped away the blood and was very pissed. But before he could move Gordon came in and headbutted him right in the face.
He was moved back. His forehead was now bleeding. " You think..you think this is funny? Toying with me?" he screamed knowing Gordon wasen't going all out.

Yume looked at Amon and Natsu. They were so cute together! If they took their relationship further, maybe in a decade or so, they'd get married, and Ishi and Pander would be related...she almost closed her wings as she laughed.
Little Amon and Natsu babies...how precious...

" No Mergex.....there's nothing funny about this. It's over Mergex. I won. You can't win and you know it. Even with your fusion you failed. You only gained your powers. i trained with mine." Gordon said looking Mergex in the eyes. Mergex growled wondering how Gordon kinew about the fusion.
" Goodbye Mergex and Sora. Never do evil again. May you live the rest of your lives in peace" he said spreading his wings and slowly flying away. Mergex growled and spread his wings. He fly after Gordon and stopped when he was over the lake.
" Die you dirty b*****d!" he said firing a jetstream of blackfire at Gordon. Gordon looked back and growled. He squeezed his hand and it glowed red. It started to spark and one could plainly see Gordon's hair start to turn red.
" You fool!" he screamed angerily and blasted a chaos beam which over took Mergex's. Mergex screamed as the beam overtook his blackfire and it hit him head on and blasted him into the lake. Waves spalshed on every corner. There was a bright red flash. It looked like Mergex was finally gone.
Gordon shook his head and started to flap his wings and head back to the school.

Sora quickly followed after them, but was too slow. By the time she got there, Mergex had been, as it seemed, over powered. She floated there in horror as she watched Gordon starting away before looking towards Mergex; it seemed that time had slowed down as she watched him falling into the lake. The sudden splash that sounded when he colided with the water snapped her back, though, to reality. "Mergex!!" she cried, dropping her powers as she dove into the lake after him. She looked around frantically; he couldn't be gone, there was no way... was there?

Mergex or what was left of him floated in the water. He was missing his lower half and both his arms. He was somehow alive though. His purple blood floated up to the top but he was still alive. From his gfather he had inherited the skill to surive grevious wounds. He just needed more power to regrow his lost limbs.

Sora swam down to him, reaching out a hand before pulling herself to him. She looked over him, seeing all his wounds and shut her eyes. She knew that she had to give him power, and that it'd be painful, but she didn't know how; Mergex, after all, was complicated. How do I do this, Mergex-dono? she thought, opening her eyes, a look of somewhat pleading in them. She needed him to guide her through it, or somehow do it himself.

Mergex couldn't even communcate properly. ever time he moved his mouth blood came out. t was all a bunch of gurgles and bubbles. His body started to float to the surface of the lake. "Put your hand on my head" he said weakly in Sora's head. He sounded like he was in so much pain.
