"I never said that." Neko said, looking at him with a hurt expression. "I'm very eomtional, I'm jsut saying that you're being romantic." Her eyes began to tear, half afraid that he was angry with her.

She forwned at him.
"And if you were out doing that I'd have to go out there and beat the crap out of you." Neko said, pouting in mock seriousness.

Neko felt fear when seh heard the deep growl coming from Asmodai. His eyes scared her too. But she didn't want to be afraid of him, no matter how scary he got. She stood completely still, hoping he wouldn't being to sense that she was terrified.

Still in his arms, he squeezed her a bit in his anger until it subsided. His eyes went back to their normal color, and his growl ceased. He then looked down at her, and tears came to his eyes. "I-I'm sorry... You shouldn't have seen me like that." He let her go and turned away in shame.

She was a bit surprised by his aprubt behavior. Her surprise then turned into sadness, because she falt that she had made him sad by being afraid. She put her arms around his waist from behind, resting her forehead aginst his back.
"It's okay." she whispered, purring. Her sadness had banished her fear. She should never have been afraid of him in the first place. "You can be angry if you want. I should've have been afraid."

"It has nothing to do with you being afraid or not. You shouldn't have seen me like that. I don't want you to see me like that." He stood still, his head down and shoulders slumped.

"It's okay." Neko said, hugging him tighter and nuzzling his spine. "You can be angry around me. If we didn't ge into fihgts or anything like that, we wouldn't have much of a relationship now would we. Everyone gets mad about some thing. I expect you to get angry at something. Think of how disappointed I would be if you didn't." She smiled, trying to put a lighter note into the air.

"Whether you want to or not, you will get angry. You'll see me angry from time to time too. We all get angry Asmodai." She paused for a moment, nuzzling his back. "Just as long as you don't get angry too often." She giggled in an attempt to lighten his mood.

"Mm, of course." Neko purred, smiling. "If you ever make me mad I'll try not to hurt you TOO much." She was joking. She doubted she could actually hurt him, even in anger.
