"If there's anything I've been taught over the years since we snagged the team name for ourselves, it's that you don't bring up if a situation could be worse and things seem to find a way to link themselves," Sol remarked, his Leafeon's ball at the ready. Hopefully the night's meant he's recovered enough to fight again if it came to it.
He'd pick up on the shadowy aura from Nincada the second they were sent out, and he kept to a stance in case they tried anything. He found it odd that the aura was as muted as it was, though. Aile couldn't have let them out terribly often, what with the obvious risks of doing so. Buzzing aside, they didn't seem as aggressive either. Being all too familiar with the usual aggression, especially without the vaccine to facilitate purification, he was sure it was a ruse, a trick of the mind. Then, when Nincada took a defensive pose, he was sure he was right to think something wasn't right.
"Hopefully you're ready, Hoja, we're gonna need... you...?" Confusion went across Sol's face as Nincada instead went for the leaves Aile swiped from the last Herba Mystica, but he didn't make a move. He kept observing just in case, watching them eat and bounce upon finishing their snack. He could see the aura too, feel it even, but it'd keep diminishing. Then, it faded entirely, followed by a bright flash that sent Sol's arm up to shield his eyes before he could process any of it.
Once it faded, revealing a much larger Nincada (by comparison), he could confirm there wasn't an aura to speak of or feel. "Did that... purify them?" He asked, hardly believing it despite what the trio had just seen. But before much else could be discerned, Nincada managed to recall themselves and force a Paldean Wooper out instead. "...second question. Isn't that supposed to be something they learn as a Ninjask? And I guess a third, though it'd hinge on somehow finding more Herba Mystica if they exist, or finding Barbara. Still, we've got little more info than what we've seen and heard ourselves... feel like our best bet's to compile what we know and see if that reveals any leads."

"I betcha they do exist. More of the Herbas, at least. Most of the caves had probably easier access to getting to them, sans... Sans Sandy Shocks, if I remember that name right." She continued to lay on the ground, watching the sky begin to brighten as the morning sun arrived. She really didn't care that some of the people were giving her odd looks, she had one hell of a day. And night, apparently. "Think we take this one day at a time. Maybe we give Nincada here to Doc to check out at some point, just to inspect and make sure that it's doing alright." Aile thought for a moment before grabbing Wooper's ball and recalled the little Pokémon, putting the Pokéball back. "That requires getting back to HQ, though." The woman would finally sit back up, pulling out her SNAG and calling in Claydol again. "Shall we?"

"Wouldn't hurt to try and scout more out if we can, then," Sol remarked, nodding. "First things first is definitely showing Nincada to Doc when there's a chance, see if it's truly as it appears. And if there might be a link to it and the Herba. If there is, it'd at least make the vaccines more efficacious. But you're right, it does, let alone any other issues. After you," he answered, briefly gesturing at the broken arm.
