Makato nodded to his father and took a deep breath before he turned to pad towards a tree, scaling it perfectly he laid upon the branch. He watched his mother and sister protectively as he eyed the other memembers of his father's pride, as well as his half siblings. His father had had many children it seemed. Unsure of how he felt about it, he licked his paw, where did that put him in his fathers land? The b*****d son? Never would be bow to another, specially a younger sibling...

Adrastos laughed slightly, "I'll let you in on a little secret, I'm going to ask her. In a day or two perhaps." he nodded to her second question and as he was about to answer a screech of a hyena wrang through his ears. A snarl emerged from his throat as he looked to entrance and gave Knarnia a soft look. He exited and looked to where it was coming from there borders. He looked to Shairi, Achilles and Afu still be her side. Mankato in a tree Ladishka and Briseis conversing, Jigsaw and Mei eating and Sin sleeping. His steel orbs cast to everyone, "Mei, darling go inside," they wrang out again. They had smelled the kill and were desperate, thats the only reason he could think of why they would grow near.
Briseis looked to Ladishka and they got up in unison, "Were going back to Rackna's before dark," Briseis said softly, "We'll take the back route." Ladishka looked to Adrastos, "Twas a pleasure, we'll see each other soon." she nodded. Briseis padded to Mankato, "Does your mind lurk to see what its like to stay here or shall you part with your father and go with us? He might need your help." she suggested looking to her eldest and only son passionatly, if he chose to stay it would pain her but she understood, either way it was fine, she knew Adrastos would give him a fine position.
Achilles looked to his mother and brother, "Hyenas." He stood muscles through his teenage body soaring he would fight them, he had done if before and had paticulary enjoyed it. His sky orbs cast to the rest of the males and then to Adrastos to see what the plan was.
((I'm just going to say Ladishka and Achilles are there current stages so jah...))

Knarnia smilled with glee at the news. It was so good that Adrastos was happy! There could have been a time, when she was confused, that it could have hurt her, but now it didn't sting her one bit. Okay, maybe a little, since he wouldn't be just to herself now, but a sister has to let go, no? Her ears perked as he was going to answer her next doubt, but they turned to the hyena's laughter at large. She understood the expression on his eyes, it was time to be the King. All she could do, for the time being, was to protect the den, tired from the birth, and watch the newborns closely, curling protectively around them.

Makato's adult form leaped down from the tree. His ears perked from the sounds of the unwanted guests, his mother and sister were leaving. It'd be dangerous for them, he knew it would be, but both were strong. He nuzzled his mother softly, nosing her cheek. "I'll stay behind, just incase Im needed. Though, I will spend my time between both lands, with you and him.." He nodded his head. His ebony mane was thick and soft, he stood proudly, his mother and sisters were the only ones that held his worried heart. "If I am not needed, I'll head back home to you.." He nuzzled her once more and then pawed at his sister lovingly. "Watch her..and yourself." He noses her cheek as well...

"Very well my brother, I will come and visit you soon." she nodded. She was old enough to venture out on her own so she would come back to visit him. She loved him dearly and always knew she could come to him if no one else.
Briseis looked to her son, "Very well, I'll be waiting for you to visit," she replied with a hint of sarcasm as a grin was placed upon her small face. "We shall get going before night creeps upon us to quickly."
Adrastos said his farewells and then looked to the rest of the males present which were four not including himself, this should be an easy task depending on how big their pack was. He gave a soft smile to Makato respecting and showing him that he was glad to have him stay.

Jigsaw's ears perked up at the hyena's laughter. A low growl escaped his throught 'it's interrupting my meal...' jigsaw thought childishly as he stood up and walked to the other males that were gathering at the entrance of the cave, his own teal mane shook slightly as he stepped. ready to defend the pride.
Mei nodded to her king and padded to were the other cubs and pride members were. She noticed the new cubs by knarnia and decided to say hello. she padded over and sat looking quietly at the little furry bundles. "their cute!" she said enthusiasticly, trying to change the stiff mood a little in the cave."what are their names miss Knarnia?"

Makato lifted his head proudly as he turned to join his father's side. His ivory coat shimmered against the background of his fathers ebony one, with a growl his ears turned to the sounds, stupid beasts he thought as his tail last out behind him. "Father..they're laughter echos. Might not be many, though there maybe a large pack. " his tone was deep and thought heavy.
The scent of new kits where heavy in the air, he turned his head towards the cave. "If you could excuse me.." He turned his frame away, he'd be back in time to do something if needed. He padded his frame into the cave, and towards Knarnia. "Congrats Knarnia.." His deeps vocals echoed out softly. He gazed down upon her with a soft gaze. She had been the first lioness he'd met outside of his family.

"Just Knarnia, Mei, I feel ooold that way." Knarnia was just like that, keeping a smile, confident the warring lions would kick the hyenas out of their home. "Thank you Mankato. There are three new little paws to soon run amock in this beautiful pride." she said, giggling, eyeing at the same time Mankato up and down. Completely Adrastos' son, from head to toe. Inwardly, her smile grew. "Kya, Kerryn and Kamaria." the tribal lioness told the two lions, pointing to them with her nose.

"Beautiful names for beautiful kits. I can see they take after their mother.." He smiled as he then bowed his head to her. Turning his massive frame away, looked back out to his father and siblings wondering if he would be needed at their side. Makato was just a bit bigger than his father, though he held his mothers delicate features, a beautiful mixture of the pair.

Afu eyed his brother, and then his mother. "You're not going to fight them, are you Achilles?" He was curious. Achilles was so much bigger than he, though occasionally, to Afu, it seemed that he had more sense than his lunar twin.
Shairi looked between her boys. "Afu... If Achilles wants to go, he can, as should you. It would be nice for you two to spend some time with your father..." Her gaze shifted from her children, who were growing all to fast in her opinion, to Adrastos. He was strong and brave, and wouldn't let any harm befall their sons. Or any of his children for that matter.

Achilles looked at Afu, "Why wouldn't I if my help was needed?" He wondered why his brother had to ask some sensless questions at some points. His annoyance had appeared upon his face as he looked to Shairi.
Adrastos looked to Afu, "Would you like to go our not?" he asked gently. He needed someone to stay at the cave just for reassurance there was the occasional hyena drifter that always managed to get farther from the others.

Afu nodded. "I want to go with you." He was sure that it would be more fun to go out and fend off the hyenas than stay and look after the pride.
Shairi rolled her eyes and nodded. "Go on. I'll stay here and watch the pride. I promise nothing will happen to them." She said reassuringly.

Makato turned his head towards his father and siblings, he shook his ebony mane out. "I'll stay...not that I dont wish to join you. But someone does need to stay here, though I do not doubt the lioness would do well to protect themselves. He sent a grin in his fathers mate direction. Would he call her his step mother? He questioned. He padded out to the others, he shook out his ivory coat, he looked to his father. "Father. Be safe." He stood tall and proud beside him, looking around at the others. "Be safe, but give those mangy mutts hell for me.."

He nodded to Makato, giving him a 'thankful' look. He wouldn't have left Shairi by herself he would of had someone stay behind especially with Knarnia and the new kits. "I will do nothing less, my son." he added. He looked towards the East. As if they went any farther West they'd be in the river. He started to pad out to where he could smell the dog's filth and grease. His steel orbs focused on his prey. Four or five shadows lingered in the distance.
Achilles looked to Makato as well, "Keep them safe, brother," he had switched Makato's words to his father to refrence of the females. His sky blue orbs did not wait for Afu but followed his father and into the distance.

"they are very cute and with cute names too" mei said happily to knarnia before sitting next to her and waving farewell to the party of males.
Jigsaw padded after Adrastos sniffing the air as he stepped. He smelt the foul stench of hyena in the air and wrinkled his nose as he saw their shadows gathered around a small tree. he sniffed the air again this time smelling something different. "whats...that..?" he said softly under his breath as he sniffed again "a..cub..?"
