You are not feeling good at all and have to spend most of your day close to the latrines, or with bedpans nearby. You have the option of going to the healers, but it's up to you whether you spend time there or fight it out in your weyr. Either way, you're sick, miserable, and could use a little TLC. If a dragonrider, your rider is a bit more grey with worry over your misery and ill-health, but they do try to ease your suffering as best they can through the link. This is week two, so we're just gonna consider it a flare up and continuation. lol

If you're a dragonrider, your dragon is likely going to get very upset! If you've a weyrling, they're going to be in a miserable state of worry and distress! You don't know what you've got but it puts you out for a good two to three sevendays. Fever, chills, aches, pains; you have no appetite and likely wind up dropping some weight from the sickness. Any loved ones or family are likely quite worried.

Grid Name Thread fighting Dragon Character Name: Seikih of Green Kath Location: High Reaches Weyr Quote: Your dragon bit his or her tongue HARD. The pain is enough to keep you irritable for a few days because it was a pretty nasty and bad bite. There's also only so much you're able to do to help them given it is a mouth injury, and any numbweed needs to be injected into the tongue itself, and wears off far too quickly.

It's an ugly enough wound that the poor thing is going to be in quite a bit of pain for the next sevenday as the skin regrows. Your dragon winds up with a case of severe infection and actually may need an ichor transfusion. They are sick, weak, and ill. They still well could die. The dragonhealers find dragons willing to help. It's up to you whether or not the transfusion works or not; if the dragon does not survive the infection or the infection is caught too late, they could die. Recovery will still take likely a month after a successful transfusion as the dragon recuperates and is cleared to return to the Wings.
