She wouldn't rule out that they could still need an extra pair of hands, which is why she waited to see what they said, but it looked as though they were handling things. So as they are transporting the woman off of the sands, Aislin rocked back on her heels and stood up, following the last candidates out of the hatching grounds.
Aelyn met her at the edge on the sands, hugging onto her arm tightly, without saying anything. They'd both been thorough several touchings before, but it was safe to say none had ended quite as abruptly or as badly as that one.
