Callistos - Post 6 Turning slowly Li glanced toward Lilif before he started to laugh, unable to help it, "Well, that would be a rather terrible shame now wouldn't it, Lily." He couldn't help but to chuckle, finding that to be rather amusing. She really was an odd one, wasn't she? Of course he was rather used to her strange personality so he couldn't say that he was bothered by her words. He watched as she hurried off to trade some gems for a staff, as though the wooden weapon would stand up against whatever it was that was going on but it was one weapon better then they'd been moments before so what was... something. As she ducked behind him, asking that he hide her, Li laughed, "Well now, this is different. I'm normally the one ducking behind others." Today it would seem that he had to be the mature one... at least until he found Gyuri and they could all hide behind him as a group. At the mention of Uli wanting to take Riya to find their mom he gave a humming sound, "I need to find my family as well..." But the idea of them just scattering to the winds like a bunch of leaves seemed foolish to him. Shouldn't they work together to keep safe? Giving Riya a nod he said, "Alright, Uli, you heard Riya. You're in the middle." He glanced at Lilif who was clutching her staff and said, "You keep close to Uli and protect him, got it? I will lead the way, and Riya will make sure nothing dangerous sneaks up behind us." With that he started forward, "Ahh... you will need to remind me who or what Valek is so that I can keep an eye out for it... them?"

Ondine Post 5
Ondine let out a sigh as the man seemed distracted, nervous almost, and she immediately decided she did not want to be by his side if a fight broke out. He seemed hopeless, and a bit distracted with the fact she broke a bit of the stereotype in terms of how a woman should act and look. Yet, she invited him along, and so she was required to keep him with her. Maybe he'd fall back and let her take the lead, at least then she could jump into the fray.
"Wah...oh, alrigh' then." She responded with a shrug, "Good luck, and good luck with your zeel."
With that, she gave him a cheeky grin, patted him a bit too roughly on the shoulder, and turned to run after one of the people heading to the East. Maybe they were preparing for war. As she moved through the walkways she noticed the smoke a bit clearer, and grinned once more. Oh yes, finally, some fun.

MIRIN - post 6
It was only a matter of moments before Korra's father was off into the crowd, following whatever the commotion was at the east side of the market. He was telling them to stay together and Mirin looked at Korra, taking her hand in her own. "Well you heard him. You wanna get closer though?" She offered, a grin on her face. It might be scary, it might be dangerous, but they could get a better view.
She squeezed Korra's hand, waiting for her decision. Handholding had always been something Mirin ended up doing when around Korra. It was the only way to keep her from getting lost it seemed like, though it was also nice to be able to be responsible for someone, protect them even if she was feeling valiant about it.

Itotia Post 6
Itotia's arms were crossed, and she began to get a bit distracted. If she couldn't find the twins, she was going to have to deal with an irate Aseara, who was either pregnant or just had her child. That meant a momma janarim mood that Itotia did not want to deal with. She needed to find them soon, before a war broke out.
"Hmm..." Itotia responded, disappointed, before turning to eye one of the men running by. They were heading east. That would either be the way to go, or the way to avoid. She knew Aeuri would not be interested in such things, but it was hard to determine if Nasuri would rush off. The girl was so excitable, yet the trouble maker of the three wasn't here. As Eira moved away, Itotia followed.
"Two eyes are better than one...does your son look like you?"
As she asked, she avoided another archer running by, and listed as he spoke of gathering to the front lines. Oh, that didn't sound good at all, and Itotia let out another heavy sigh.

Draven Post 6It wasn't much of wanting to take it down, but he would be there to defend those who couldn't defend themselves. Draven merely nodded as Issaly as he passed him and headed off after Aysun who was further a head of him. Turning his attention towards the Janarim who was sticking as close to his side. "So what are you planning on doing?" Draven asked in Aysun's direction when he managed to close behind. "Think they can scare it into a different direction?"His gaze went towards the lines of Archers that were standing at the ready. Frowning slightly, Draven had to wonder where Dem and everyone she was with were at. Hopefully they were well away from here and safe, that was the thought at least.

JHANA - post 6
She was almost too wrapped up in herself to see Jerami getting knocked down. She he brushed himself off and righted his footing Jhana turned her attention to him. "Oh gods, are you alright? Are you hurt?" She fussed over him, giving a look to Shima. What would they do?
"What do you think Shima? Should we hide?" She felt her antennae twitch, almost vibrate with the anxiety of it all. She looked to Jerami and held his hand tight. "Maybe we should hide. Maybe it's dangerous." She nearly whispered out.

Zayana
The Elaria moved away from her charge and Naq, nervous and keeping her head low. In her hand was the parchment from the mystic, and in her mind the mystic's words. They held a weight on her, as if Nivalis was disappointed for some reason. Zayana hated it, but she wasn't really a mindless minion. Her mothers raised her to be practical and smart, and she just felt like this wasn't a smart thing to do. Turning to her sister, she swallowed and led the way to an Alkidike booth. Head down, voice soft, keep herself unnoticable.
That was the plan, of course, until a small earthling child ran into her screaming of a fire beast. Zayana's hood fell back slightly, revealing her wide eyes as the child looked up and suddenly began to scream again of the dark people. Oh great, so much for not being noticed.
A pink hand darted up to pull the hood down, and Zayana turned to her sister and hissed, "We need to move, now."

Carminer - Open For Interaction
As the evening continued, Carminer noticed activity. It wasn't the activity he liked, oh no, it was something else. It seemed as if people were gathering for some sort of...fight. Stilling his shout, he suddenly wished that his brother was there. His eldest was not only their guard, but he knew a fight and he knew when things were going on. It seemed his sister agreed, as suddenly she was sealing their casks and putting away their money.
It was time to call it a night.
His younger brother came running at last, out of breath.
"He's joined the front line, they think there's some sort of...dragon coming..."
Carminer laughed, but it was skeptical, and suddenly he was moving to the side to look up into the sky. What was going on?

Aeuri - Post 6
As they settled down to eat, Aeuri spent his time people watching. It was so interesting, watching the different hybrids. Even after a few hours, he couldn't get enough. Aeuri was sure it would never grow old, they were all just so unique and different. There were those that were half Alkidike, to those that were half Matori. Oh it was so interesting.
As he watched, he suddenly realized a few shifters were going through the crowd. They were gathering others, pulling them away from the food and toward the growing darkness of the booths. Was something happening? This seemed more than a simple military formation changed. This seemed...serious.
"Nasuri...maybe we should find Itotia?"Tasinei Sorry I skipped you, wanted to do a time jump before the next post!

Driidipost six"I... well... yes," Driidi replied, smirking to himself. "I am extremely interested. But I also don't want to die." It seemed there were archers gathering. They could take care of whatever the thing was before it reached them, right? "Hold on!" he said, huffing out a slightly nervous laugh as he followed, eyes still mostly on the sky.

Familiar leaders gathered to the east, away from the food where some still celebrated. Sure, there were some who were aware of the situation, and the rumors were spreading, but Antiope's followers were doing great work of playing the situation off as anything but severe.
To be honest, they really didn't know what the flashing smoke was, and while it was a terrifying thought, it also didn't mean the end of the world. It was unknown, and they were taking caution. For those who did appear to offer their services, all of the leaders nodded in thanks and directed them to take formation. At the moment, away from the center of the camp and where it was calm, directions were being barked out, mostly from Vescillea, Freya, and Besian.
"There's no point in any melee fighters to be in the front lines. Fall back and hold where the tents begin!" Freya shouted out, voice cold and in control as she directed those who would be a second wave, "For now, all ranged fighters step forward, make a line, and hold. Do not fire. Do not strike. Wait for our mark."
The smoke seemed to split from three sources, but the front most one seemed to cause the most of the darkness. The other two forms broke the smoke, but all they could see were long wing-like masses reflecting off the sunset.
As most warriors stepped back, under the guidance of Besian and Enlil, Enki and Antiope stayed near the front of the line. Enki, with his sharp eyes, continued to watch as the three smoke-covered masses dipped toward the ground, his head tilting as he studied their behavior. Freya, as if echoing his thoughts, seemed uncertain.
"They...are not flying right..." She questioned slowly, "They should be dipping down, gathering speed. It's as if they are...floating..."
Vescillea didn't seem bothered by the uncertainty, and as they grew close, she called out, "Steady! Prepare Yourselves!"
The fighters around them knocked their arrows, lifting them up high into the sky and judging the wind and the distance. Silence began to fall, as everyone waited for the call to strike. Vescillea, eyes narrowed, began to judge when the best volley should occur.
Right as she began to gather her breath to shout, Enki reached out and covered her lips with wide eyes.
"A moment."
Vescillea pushed back, glaring with flared nostrils, and attempted to collect herself as the leaf man moved forward a few more steps. A strange explosion, accompanied by a sort of sputtering stutter, came from the top most smoking cloud, but that was not the leaf mans focus. At least not the smoke.
"Look, someone is waving, and not from atop the smoke...but below."
Everyone turned to study the masses as they finally, finally, were illuminated by the dying light. They were not creatures made of fire, but some sort of floating ships. These people, whoever they were, were sailing in the sky.
"How is this even possible?" Freya gasped out, as the ships steadily floated down to the ground.
First, the one that was smoking and gurgling hit the ground hard, stuttering to a stop with one last lurch and groan. One last puff of smoke pushed angrily up to the sky, filling the air like it was fueled by fire. As the other two ships landed (much more gracefully), a mass of what had to be Earthlings covered head-to-toe jumped to the ground and rushed toward the smoking vessel.
All but two, actually. The two made way to the leaders at the front of the line, taking off their protective gear along the way. First, they removed their worn jackets to show off brown outfits in styles that matched no style the leaders had ever seen. Then they took off their protective eye ware and hats to reveal traits even more startling than the flying ships behind them.
"Hello friends!" The first spoke brightly, her warm yellow skin accented by orange hair and green crystals. Her most noticeable trait, however, was that her eyes were a vibrant hue with scattering pupils. But her eyes weren't enough to distract from her companion: a dark skinned woman with pale green hair and even paler eyes. She too had an interesting trait, a strange pale marking of sorts that stood out against her skin. Both were warm in personality, bright in energy and welcoming as if this was there home. And both seemed keen to begin an extended conversation with the leaders before them.
"Please," The dark skinned woman added, "We mean you no harm. In fact, we are simply travelers, who have been trying for years to finally meet all of you..."

jayoku Hope it's ok I brought you along? Amarone post 6
Their timing seemed to be for the best, as they arrived just when the lurching ships landed. Amarone let out an excited squeal as she danced about, turning to her companion who she seemed to drag along. A laugh followed, before she gasped a bit again.
"Look at it! It's beautiful! Have you ever seen anything like it? It's a flying ship, a flying ship!"
The front line held strong, so she couldn't get close enough to look, but her azure eyes were keen and she just kept looking at the ships, the smoke, and the people.
"Look at their skin, look at their crystals and their eyes. Who are they?!"

Volkarosh Location: Around
Volkarosh had come to the market with her brother to see what she could find for their enormous and tight knit family. Gifts were nice, and hand picked ones nicer. She was with her brother because... he was her brother. Lashy was not good with crowds, and their parents were... occupied.
So her brother it was, and she hadn't found cause to regret it, even now as she took shelter with him behind a stall. She peered out into the smoke. "Do you see what's happening, Arron?" she asked him. It was unlikely. Her eyes were keener than his. But they were another set of eyes.

Aylin || Post 4 Location || Front Lines Aylin had moved to the gathering of fighters with chagrin, every fiber of her being warned against the approaching smoke. But she moved forward with steadfast determination, she could not run from her fears and she owed it to those here who could not protect themselves to lend her services. She hoped Ziel wasn’t lost to the crowd, but in her haste she could not keep her eyes on her. She stood with the other ranged fighters on the front lines and drew her magic up from within, feeling it in the charged air around herself and those nearby. The ominous clouds continued to approach and before the confrontation could start … it was over. Who were these strange newcomers, and where did they hail from? Aylin was no longer trembling from nerves, but rather in excitement!

Arron - Post 1 "Not really, I see a lot of confusion and stuff going on, people milling about in the way, nothing really helpful to us." It always felt like some kind of army mission with his sister around, she was uber serious and in this case he was glad to have her keen mind by his side. What on earth could be going on over there, he had half been hoping there was a new kind of beast but could see no wings or heads or anything at all living above the crowd. How disapointing.
