Shannnon nodded and put her head back down. She brushed her hair back. What if she was..No! She couldnt possibly be. Well she could and deep down she knew that she was. What would they say? All the people? Especially when they found out it was his...Shannon shuddered at any thought of it.

Boone looked back to Shannon and put his hand on her arm. Though he moved it quickly. He needed to forget again, though could he?

Claire had watched Shannon leave the cave and then come back. "Shannon?" Claire asked walking towards them rocking the baby lightly.

Shannon took a deep breath. "Claire can I um... talk to you out here for a minute?" She pointed outside and stood up, already heading out of the caves.

Boone turned his head abit and watched them leave. He sighed and closed his eyes. He really wondered what was happening, why didn't Shannon want to talk in front of him?

"Sure," Clare said following her. As they walked outside Claire pointed to a few trees that were far enough from the caves that no one would hear them talking. "What is it?" she asked a little worried.

Shannon took another deep breath. She hoped Claire would understand. "I just need to know something," She paused, talking quietly, almost a whisper. "How did yuo know that you were....." Shannon deliberated and then glanced down at the baby, hoping that Claire would get her meaning. "You know?" Shannon looked at the baby again and raised an eyebrow.

Boone sighed and coughed again. The pain wasn't as great as it was before, but it was still awefull. He opened his eyes and looked around him. The caves were pretty much empty.

"Well... I felt sick a lot.. and I had morning and night sickness really bad, other then that I just knew. I felt different," Claire said smiling down at the baby.

Shannon took a deep breath. "Oh..well thanks..." Shannon tried to smile but the attempt was a weak one. This wasnt happening! It wasnt going to happen. What would they think? What would he say?

Claire put her free hand on Shannon's shoulder. "It's okay to worry... if you are hopefully we will get off this island soon and you will be fine," Claire said with a hopeful smile.
