Forera's eyes had wandered toward Hemera, wanting to check up on the tealblood-- But what she saw was, well. A little more concerning. The tealblood was covered in water, but suddenly, the water froze. Forera blinked. What the-- It was a light sheerness on her body, and Forera wasn't sure what to make of it. It was a bit awkward to think of. Was she just that damn cold, or...? HP: 11 HP Military Level Gauntlets Adept Agility Style B Artifact (0) Novice Offensive Style B Trinket (1) (cannot use)
Forera needed to check it out. Marching right on over to Hemera, the tealblood stood in her path, hands on her hips. "Mera. I gotta question for ya. Why are ya literally icy, when ya were just sweatin'?" Forera eyed her up and down, pursing her lips. "Either you're so cold ya make the water freeze, but that don't happen in the span of 5 seconds. Whats up? How'd ya do that?" Forera asked, genuinely curious. HP: 11 HP Military Level Gauntlets Adept Agility Style B Artifact (0) Novice Offensive Style B Trinket (1) (cannot use)
Out of the silence, a familiar face. "Perore?" Hemera blinked. She needed a moment to understand everything the other troll was saying. ...Oh. Oh. She saw the. Ah. Oh. Hmm. Talk about awkward. Hemera stopped, as she had to with Forera in the way, then looked at her arm. Then she did a tight, yet gentle flex, to keep the ice from cracking. "It's my way of being a badass, I guess."
Mera was just happy to talk to someone. She was game to explain further, since it was her roommate and all. "I have ice powers. Simple as that. I always have been able to. It helps with long falls up in Busthind."
Very casual for her, but she inwardly hoped Perore didn't see this as an excuse to call her 'Icy' even more.
"I don't, um, I don't make water freeze unless I want it to. And only if I'm touching it. I can't create ice from nothing. Some trolls can. I can't. It just protects me." Hemera elaborated.
Her clothes were still soaked, though. Unfortunate. They were already burned and torn, so the wrinkles and texture would be awful later. "It doesn't even cover my clothes, most of the time. I need hydration, too. There hasn't been much in here, except for the tiles. I need to keep it up to help with the burn wounds. Useful, but limited in these kinds of situations."
Forera watched the ice on her arm, appreciating her light flexing before chuckling at her words. Oh, so now they could appreciate muscles. When it was about her. Forera rolled her eyes but didn't say anything, simply taking what she got and listening to her explanation. She shrugged. "I dunno about badass, that'd depend on how you use it and stuff, but it is pretty cool. Powers feel a bit like cheating, though. They're like, trolls 2.0, but it feels weird. Like, I don't got a power, I'm strong by myself. I guess." Forera tapped her chin. "Though like, I could see the appeal. It is cool to do cool stuff." Forera giggled. "Heh, cool. Callin' ya Icy was right on the dot then! It looks like I'm great at nicknames!" Cheating. Ah, of course, what a great addition to her self-esteem. "I can't help what I can do and you can't," Mera retorted, not a huge fan of Forera's unasked for opinion, but staying composed anyway. "I didn't ask for powers, nor do I like being known for them alone. My own strength comes first, hence why you don't see me using my powers all over the place."
An awkward moment indeed, and more reason to be a little more careful about her powers, even if Perore tried to back pedal. A lot of trolls were learning about her abilities lately. Fortunately, only one of them called her 'Icy'. But that case was before the troll even know. Hemera just hoped that no one would be annoyed by her not being upfront about it. The ice didn't factor into her life enough, nor was it a hazard. If it was fire, maybe, but few were under the threat of being slammed by a fist full of ice.
Well, except maybe Furore. Often enough he seemed to be begging for it. An odd troll, that one. But then all trolls were off-putting in one way or another as of late. What was up with that?
Forera grinned, feeling a joke coming on. "Chill, Mera," Forera giggled-- "That's just my opinion. Freedom of speech 'n all." What Forera didn't know or particularly care about was how they didn't need to listen. She shrugged. "Sure thing, 'own strength.' Might wanna work a little more on them muscles. Which!" Forera pointed out, gloved finger raising in the air-- "Is why I'm offering you a super-duper-once-in-a-life-time offer. Fight me! Show me what ya can do. I'd like to see what you're made of!" Forera grinned and winked, making a mini gun with her hand and pretending to shoot it. Bang! "Just make sure t'hit me up before we go! I gotta travel farr and my address ain't reachable through normal means." HP: 11 HP Military Level Gauntlets Adept Agility Style B Artifact (0) Novice Offensive Style B Trinket (1) (cannot use)

Boss Attack
You arrive at dead end, with three doors lining the hall on either side. Only, the wall in front of you looks suspiciously different from the ones on either side. Hmm. You decide to poke around before you turn around and head back.
If you rolled a 1, you open the first door on the left, and are dogpiled by a bunch of troll-bots that pour out of small janitorial cupboard and onto you. Take 4 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you open the third door on the right, and immediately try and close it again as a swarm of robotically enhanced bees pour out. Well, it's just three of them but with their laser sights and reloading stingers, three is enough to make these bees a swarm. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you open the second door on the left, but fail to see anything in the darkness that the room beyond contains. Stepping forward to get a better look, the door slams behind you, and something in the dark starts to viciously pinch you black and blue. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you open the third door on the left and get hit with a giant spring-loaded mallet. Behind it however, is a power switchboard for this hall. If you turn it off, the fake wall ahead of you recedes back into the ceiling. Success! Take 4 dmg and deal +2 damage.
If you rolled a 5, you open the second door on the right and see a small cupboard, with a laser grid blocking access to the computer monitor inside, where a program is running. Wriggling your arm through a hole in the grid and bearing the burns, you can get close enough to bash on the screen until it breaks, and the fake wall ahead of you recedes back into the ceiling. Success! Take 3 dmg and deal +2 damage.
If you rolled a 6, you open the first door on the right and get hit with a water balloon - hilarious! However, it's filled with tear gas. After you get your vision back, you see a plug running from a hole in the wall to a power socket in the small cupboard behind the door, and unplug it. The fake wall ahead of you recedes back into the ceiling. Success! Take 2 dmg. flavour text here. Your attack does double damage.

Sephos contemplated his salves, anything to not think about the other unpleasant things he could think about. His hands were scuffed, as were his legs (especially that leg) and he didn't want to think about his feet. His clothes were less unpleasant to think about - that his overalls and shirt were torn and a little ragged were not an issue. He could get more clothes, and that was en excuse to peek into a clothing store and explore the pretty things within.
If he lived.
Sephos perked up at the sound of other trolls approaching - perhaps they could help him, or at least show him towards the way out. Then again, this place was a maze, and he wasn't leaving without Maku, who was still resting on a wall.
Forera dealt 4 damage.
The door corridor again. Forera searched for the room she'd opened before, but somehow, they'd managed to look and be in different places. Forera wanted to kick something after opening the wrong door-- And she did, slamming the door shut right after seeing the bees. She couldn't help but groan after the bees began to swarm, yelling a loud "oh come on" at them beginning to chase her. It had taken time to get her boot off and wrap the wound that had been punched through it. Etsali wasn't sure the bleeding had stopped at all, but it had slowed at the very least, and that would have to be good enough for her for now. In that time, though, she'd fallen behind the others. Grimacing, she hobbled on, trying to see if she could catch up, and found herself presented with doors. Closing her eyes, she tried to pick which seemed the best on pure instinct. Second door on the right it was, then. She could only hope it was the right choice.
Rastin Morden is ATTACKING and going UP. If you rolled a 1, you open the first door on the left, and are dogpiled by a bunch of troll-bots that pour out of small janitorial cupboard and onto you. Take 4 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
Rastin's instincts were right. He'd entered the next room, confidence brimming and boiling, only to find himself in a familiar scene, except now he was alone in the fight against a horde of robots bent on beating his face in. He struggled, screamed, and kicked with all his might, but found himself quickly overpowered.
It was only luck that saved him from total destruction at the end when the robots malfunctioned and turned on one another, giving him enough time to stand, sprint, and reach the next intersection. However, as soon as he did, he slid to his knees, gasped for air, and flopped face first onto the floor below. His body was unable to support him any further than that, at least for now.
HP: 0/20 (THAT'S ALL HE WROTE, FOLKS) - 5 HP (- 1 HP per roll because of THIS POST) 3 damage dealt
The doors again. Yes, she had been through this before. Predictability made the going a little easier, but Hemera couldn't help but judge. If it was one troll, sure, there would be something new every time with tiles and doors, maybe, but with a group? Eventually they could map everything out and get through the defenses no problem.
Granted, this group wasn't faring the best. But, if anything, she knew she had to look for a way to open the fake wall, and which door to not go through. Kolako had picked a door on the right, correct? The memory was fuzzy with everything else going on. But she had a sense of direction, and opened a door.
Whatever was behind it wasn't anything good, and she slammed it shut, letting only letting three bugs come out. More robots, of course, and they immediately went for her ice.

Novice Support B Trinket: (Charge 0/3, 0/1 per battle) On a 1, 2 or 3, heal another troll by a quarter of their max hp, on a 4 heal them by their max hp

Healing Luxara for 10
As the trolls appeared, he could see they were injured. Hmm... Sephos looked back down at his salve, his brow furrowing.
He'd told Panili that he'd help, and he hadn't realized what that would mean. He was out of his depth. He was, very likely, unable to help her more than he had, if he had at all. However...
He grabbed the handle of the basket and staggered to his feet. "Hey." he called out, hobbling over on his crutch with the basket. He waved one of the more capable looking trolls over - one who also looked like she'd taken a beating. "Here" he offered her his last major salve, "This ought to help with your wounds and stuff." His voice was strained as his leg began to protest even the small movements he was making.
If the troll - an adult, he could see the color in her eyes - could keep going, then maybe she could help Panili in his stead...
Get up. Get up! Get upppp! Yet she wouldn't budge. s**t. Talk about a pickle. Luxara couldn't beef it now, especially not first. That'd be embarrassing as all hell. She chuckled, worried as she was. s**t ineed. Etsali was pulling herself together, good, and Forera kept working with others to keep morale up. They were great. But somehow she couldn't call out to them for help. Guess she couldn't bear to look weak now, the technical adult and all. Or whatever.
Someone was calling out, and soon they were up behind her. Luxara turned her head. A little greenblood, unfamiliar to her. Offering her aid, though. Luxara smiled, taking it. "Thanks, kid."
Looked like salve. Luxara wasn't sure how helpful it'd be, but something was better than nothing!
