Eostre felt.... positively manic! She was so close, and the reinforcements were coming! They were going to take down this AI, they were going to stop the bomb. She broke more security cameras, and ran down the hallways. If she ran out of strength again (which she doubted she would), she would simply will herself to get up once more. She laughed, slowing down. What was she doing here in a building that was about to explode? "Well, you can't kill me that easily!" she yelled at a camera, before she punched it, the shattered pieces falling to the ground.

Psy was a little lost, and Ma'am was no help. The roaches knew directions in terms of themselves and the swarm (such as "over here" or "that way") but not only had the swarm not reached the (probably a bomb) goal, but they were spread thin throughout the tower despite the reinforcements they had recieved from thier Civisect nodes. They were having a hard time maintaining an above-lusus-minium quota for Psykgi's sake, with all of the space they were trying to cover. Determining directions in a way that Psykgi could understand was, for the most part, beyond them. Unless she wanted to leave, of course. Ma'am could help with that. Possibly.
But Psykgi didn't want to give up hope yet. If this thing was a bomb, it was threatening something she had worked hard to build. Trolls of all castes had come together to build this tower in her city. Her sense of civic and personal pride would not allow it to be destroyed.
It seemed, however, that her plans were to come to naught - a shriek signalled the appeareance of a droid that grabbed her leg, tripping her. A horn hit the metal floor with a jarring thud and her conciousness flickered as she saw a swarm of droids coming for her. White filled her vision as Ma'am stepped up, her wings fluttering in leathery anger as the swarm attacked the droids. Soft carapaces and little pinpricks of legs caressed her skin as Ma'am swarmed her, too, sucking up leaking blood from her scalp and moving her... away...

Psykgi came to fairly quickly, the roaches that were surrounding her protectively falling away as she sat up abruptly. "s**t." she said, shaking her head at the whole thing, "That was almost me out of the game, huh." she shrugged it off. Well, she was back in, wasn't she? Her head hurt and she felt like that time she'd drunk too much intoxicating beverage, but she was back up and out.
Ma'am swarmed around, eventually revealing her axe. "Guess it's time to keep going, huh? She managed a tired grin. "For the collective, eh?

ROUND 14.5
Teal lights shudder on, and suddenly you can hear Verier’s voice loud and clear before his panicked features appear on the monitors. His visor has been removed; he’s sweating and his hair is mussed. The doctor talks at a mile per minute.
“Attention, Civisect Volunteers. You. Need. To. Evacuate – now! Get out of there! I’ve finally broken through the defense matrix to light a path. You don’t have much time – something must have triggered the device in the power room, and its countdown has stopped. There’s no time to try and disarm it – please. Follow the teal lights and leave immediately!” His speech ends, and you can swear there’s something streaking his cheeks. “Let’s mov--!” The monitor clicks off and is replaced by a blinking teal arrow. The lights dim, the world a series of luminescent trail markers and the deadly sound of something beeping far in the distance.

Vulpin was so close. Vulpin was so close they could taste it. Imagine the reward they'd receive for saving Civisect's space ladder from destruction. They laughed under their bandana at the thought, climbing up another level. A faint whining sound perked their perceptive ears. That was it, Vulpin realized, smiling brightly.
Then Verier's voice came on the intercom, alerting everyone to evacuate. At first Vulpin sneered, their self-proclaimed victory being taken from their grasps. Then, taking a step back from the situation, Vulpin realized this whole charade was dumb anyways. They shouldn't have bothered to enter the building. And if they did find the bomb? Their face would be all over the papers, proclaiming them as a hero. Vulpin audibly tsk'ed. They didn't want that.
Swiftly, they followed the path out of the building. Even with injuries Vulpin could sprint through the halls fairly quickly, with a lit path to guide them.

Eostre Diazzi HP: 7/20
The announcement came, and Eostre felt her pumpbiscuit skip a beat. There was Verier, on the monitors begging for evacuation. That means they were too late, right? The bomb was going to go off, practically any second.
She knew when to flee a fight. Her lusus taught her to live another day, die on another hill. This wouldn't be where she died. With the path lit by the teal arrows, she ran. Damn it though! They were close, and still the terrorist had to win, making everyone turn tail like this. She realized too, she'd have to push her way through the exits once she got close to them. Everyone would be clamoring to get out.
So she just had to get there sooner. She pumped her legs as hard as they would go, needing to be the quickest to leave.
Eostre went DOWN, ready to get out as fast as possible.

Natash Boelli & Angel HP: 0/40
The announcement crackled overhead, the lights flashing. Angel stood up. That is our cue to leave, dearest Natash. She sounded almost smug. The large lusus picked Gnash up by the back of her jumpsuit, carrying her in her teeth as she bolted down, back to the exit that was now lit up.
It wasn't the most comfortable way to travel, but it was much faster than if she walked herself, and better than being inside of her mouth. But there wasn't really time for that, was there? They were evacuating because the bomb didn't get defused, and it was going to explode. Another explosion in Civisect.... she was glad her home was on the beach, fairly far from here. Her wounds would be cleaned in the ocean, after all.
Natash goes DOWN, ready to leave as soon as possible.

As soon as the warnings and lights started going on. Chaos. Fellah jumped up and started running for the exit. Along the way he ran into a familiar greenblood, without so much as a word he grabbed Aandes and hoisted him over a shoulder on the way out. Similarly the regal Eridia was in his path, without speech the hoisted her over the other shoulder and barreled out of the metal deathtrap tower as quickly as possible.
Oh, so there was a bomb in there... Interesting and a weird coincidence. Eridia observed the others run down out of the crazy tower of imminent death. She particularly didn't have any interest getting out of there. There was nothing or no one outside worth seeing, worth knowing they're ok... No, she didn't have anyone. If they simply didn't cared enough about her, then she might as well not give two damns about them-- not that she probably has before. Perhaps Chiara?
Nah... Just like the rest. She mused to herself as she pondered if she should even go outside. No one would miss her, that she knew. She slowly wandered about until she swore she saw someone familiar. Her blood drained away from her face. What that Gerard? Eridia slowly walked towards the optical illusion and as soon as she nearly reached it, Opimus grabbed her and drove her away from danger. Her hand still reached outwards for whatever she saw. Her eyes were watery as she only saw herself getting farther away from it. "Wait!"
"No! I mustn't leave my love, I must meet with him again!!!" She said, however she didn't have the energy to put up a fight.
Eridia is going DOWN!

Aandes: DED
"Fellah!" Aandes barely had time to greet his talent before he took the initiative. "Oof!"
Well, that was forward. But, to be frank he wasn't keen on sprinting from death itself with weak, weary ankles and one shoe. Shredding his foot on molten shrapnel or being buried in it was not in his nightly plans.
"Thank you -- thank gog."
He winced as his exhaustion sent a pang through him, and then again when a curvy purpleblood joined him on Fellah's other shoulder. His relief had turned to heated embarrassment. Aandes decided to stare straight ahead.
"Left now, Fellah. Watch out for the step up here, it looks like it's about to fall out."
At least doing some guiding would increase his usefulness as a damsel in distress.
Cynril looks at Stryke quite scared and starts crying because of the loud noises.
"Wha- what is going o-on!?!?"

Stryke's HP:6/20
Stryke hadn't thought things would go downhill so quickly. Not only had they fallen behind, but trolls were in a rush to get to the exit. The flashing green lights and warning to evacuate was all the warning he needed. They needed to LEAVE. Cynril was all but literally having a panic attack, unlike anything he'd ever seen. He was crying, sobbing and nearly hyperventilating. A lot was happening, and he was so...young. Stryke feared he'd pushed him to far, and made a silent vow to treat them both to food if they made it out of this alive.
Grabbing his shoulders he gently shook him, focing the child to look him in the eyes. He had to raise his voice to be heard, no soft tone would ever stand a chance here. "ssshh..child it will be alright. we are leaving. i promissse!" He had meant to sooner, things had just been chaotic and he'd gotten turned around. With the exit so clearly labled, it was clear where their destination lay.
Stryke forgot about his disguise or accent, it didn't ******** matter. Everyone was in danger. Those rebels he had recognized were his concern as well, he wanted to make sure everyone regardless of loyalties got out safely. No one needed to die in a bomb explosion. While he remained, Stryke tried to direct those who seemed confused or lost in the general direction. The flashing lights were disorientating in their own right. The yellowblood cringed, ignoring the tingling pain in his body from the lasers. He'd dived in front of them and grabbed the kid before they could sear him. All around him, he saw trolls trying to exit, fearing the kid would be trampled. Stryke had fended off the various bots through out the maze that had attacked them both. He'd done his job..he'd kept the boy safe but in the end it had been dangerous as hell. Stryke felt terrible, but the fact of the matter was they would be alright..they had to hurry.
There was little time.
"come on. if we hurry i'll get us something to eat..alright?" He promised, hoping the distraction of something to look forward to would help. Shifting he forced himself to crouch down on one knee, motioning for him to get on his back so he could hoist him up. Now wasn't the time to deal with his slower pace, or the risk of being trampled. The psionic intended fully to put distance between the tower and them.
Stryke is going down!

Very few things made Psykgi go pale, but Verier's little announcement did so nicely. In it's wake, Psykgi stared at the teal arrow, dark and slithery feelings winding through her as a beeping reached her spongeclots. She'd felt this feeling's prototype at the swamp, but then it had been undone by anger and pure, physical violence. And, also, Leeroi had been there and he'd been feeling it worse than her. In the midst of being there for him, that feeling inside her had died.
Leeroi wasn't here. She was almost grateful that he wasn't here. She wished he was here.
"Gosh, Ma... I guess..." her voice wavered, "I guess we have to go." She took a deep breath, turned in the direction that the arrow was pointing, summoned the last reserves of her energy...
And ran for the exit.

Voscil's HP 8/20
Voscil was more than worried. She had lost everyone it seemed like, and in her attempt to dash around the maze all the psionic had managed to do was get lost and turned on herself. Frustrated she was about to kick at the nearest drone as it had contributed to cutting and clawing at her along with zaps not her own energy when the alarm bells went off, screaming and echoing their warning. Wincing she covered her hands over her sponge clots.
Where was Reemus? No doubt he was getting himself into trouble without her. "GUYS!? Hey, were is everyone!" She shouted barely remembering to call out for disguse names. Voscil was overwhelmed and wanted to leave before the bomb went off. She felt fear gripping her pump biscuit. Hadn't Ephias come here, was he okay? Was Etsali alright...Her thinkpan swam with the possibilities of what could be going on with any of her friends. Voscil looked around wildly. She'd even lost track of Eridia.
Close to throwing a tantrum, the psionic lightning weilder moved about anxiously down the maze, gradually making her way towards the exit as she looked for familiar faces. "Where are yoouuuuuu..!! We need to leave. Please! I'm sorry I got lost trying to run around and look." She whimpered rubbing at her tear stained cheeks. She felt like an absolutely horrible friend...how had she managed to loose them? Cursing she worried at her bottom lip. Voscil hadn't kept track of anyone it seemed in her hurry to try and make some kind of difference.
Polair heard the announcement loud and clear. Without a second thought she hoists herself up on Claud and took the lighted path. Polair felt a it anxious, a bomb inside... an armed bombed inside and she wasn't out. Claud did the best he could to navigate them out of the tower. She hoped whoever was inside got out of there in time.
"Claud, don't go too fast! You're hurt, your injuries might worsten." She said as she barely caught a wince from him. He didn't care, all he cared about was to get Polair out of harms reach. She was his little treasure and he wouldn't stand to see her die in a place like this. No, he would get her out of there even if he would die trying.
