After her encounter with he Destroyer, Lily wasn't good for much except holding down the shame corner, watching through a pained expression as the others managed to contain the cheating chipmunk. It looked so simple from the peanut gallery, even though she knew it had taken their combined willpower just to hold the beast down. She didn't take it as a personal affront that she herself had been thrown about--there were good days and bad days, and Lily liked to think she'd weakened him up a bit. More pressing, however, were the oozing bite marks slashed across her torso and back, not mortally wounding but certainly in need of some attention.

Lily shuffled her hold on the tatters of her shirt, freeing a hand so she could give Temperance a thumbs up. "It's all good, he was just teething," she remarked coolly, stumbling up to her feet. She nearly made it to her full height before she winced again, curling around her stomach reflexively.

"I'd check with him first, but if you've got a bandaid to spare I might take a few," she added sheepishly, slowly unclenching her hand to look at the bleeding underneath. "I dunno, Doc, you think they're gonna have to cut it off?"

One of the faceless waved a hand and a selection of first aid supplies appeared. Fingers pressed once more to Temperance. We cannot heal that which is not part of us, only aid.

To Shun, the other faceless shook it's head before touching his shoulder once more. That will lead back to the theatre but the door can be closed and it can be opened to lead you where you need to be.

It would seem that Shun was able to, in a small part, lessen his injury. It did not heal entirely but it did improve.

The faceless moved then, taller now than it had been before it seemed, and closed the door. It's hand pressed against the handle and it's form, for a moment, glowed bright.

Just for a moment they would all see it. Something human, something beautiful, something that was no longer part of their world. Then it was gone, simply a faceless mannequin in a business suit.

The faceless nods towards Shun and opened the door for him to walk through. At first there was nothing and then-

Then Shun was in the middle of downtown Ashdown during the hottest part of the day.

In the middle of a street. A horn honked at him to get out of the way.

It's hand rested briefly against Alister's bicep. The cacophony of voices were heard once more.

You will remember what has happened here. There was a pause, the head tilting. Whether you remember what has gone before, that we do not know.

There is no consideration of what is deserved and what is not. Should you need us, you may find us once more. The hand was removed and the door opened for Alister.

He would walk into the kitchen of his bed and breakfast.

Apparently it was dinner time.

The faceless inclined it's head towards Juniper, fingers lightly tapping her nose. Appearances are deceiving. It is a lesson you must learn, young dreamer. It was a strange mixture of voices that spoke and one among them might have just sounded motherly.

Hand retreating, the faceless reached for the door and pulled it open for her.

When Juniper walked through it and it closed behind her, it was still right after the end of her double shift and she was inside her apartment.

Her cat meowed at her in greeting.

Chris was content to wait behind the rest of those who were here - they were unused to the place and he wouldn't get inbetween those who wanted to leave quickly and safely. If worst came to worst, Chris could probably find his way out of Other Ashdown on his own. It would be a pain, but he could do it, unlike those here who didn't know much.

"I have a question, before I leave," Chris said, looking between the people. "Can I come visit, later? To ask questions."

It was a long shot and he knew, that things were dangerous. But he wanted to learn they were - they were something new. Something new that didn't intend to harm.
