Itotia Post 6As she arrived to a vendor who knew her by name (thanks mostly to her interactions outside of this event during regular business hours) Itotia gestured for a drink with a light wave to the person. They weren't friends, but both had enough respect in terms of a goods exchange to look past their differences and focus on the product, which meant Itotia was quickly provided with a drink and relieved of a gold coin.
As she began to drink, she ignored the whispers but could not ignore the presence of someone walking close. Her hair on her neck stood on end as someone spoke in her ear, and her eyes narrowed. Of course, someone would finally get the courage to mock her, most likely a foreigner too, and Itotia took a deep breath through her nose before narrowing her dull eyes.
Turning, she opened her mouth before pausing. The glow before her was unmistakable, but it didn't mean she was happy to see another Yaeli in her presence. Taking a single step back, she took another break as well before shaking her head.
"It is of none of your business, unless you desire to share your reasons as well, stranger."
Short, to the point, Itotia held up a shield. She didn't know why a Yaeli was here, but she did know that no one would come willingly, not this soon. If they did, they must have reasons that pushed them past their fear, and Itotia wasn't sure she wanted to discover what they were.

Solari
Post 5Solari spotted the waving Shifter and paused briefly wondering what a Shifter of all people might want with her. Still, her curiosity made her pause long enough for him to speak to her. She wasn’t too sure what he was saying with his thick accent and it properly translated into her features which began to scrunch up in confusion. She flattened them again once he’d finished as she replayed the words in her mind and made sense of it.
“I’m not a fighter,” Solari said slowly giving the Shifter and up and down look to get a closer look at him. “I’m fast with my hands but usually I don’t use them to fight.” She gave him a wayward smile. “What about you, you look like you got a real good beating in there.” And then someone else was speaking up and Solari turned her eyes towards him. "I guess so..." Pausing she looked at the items. "You got anything sweet?"

Post 5Alassiel finally found V’demhe after a bit of searching. The tall Akidike looked like she’d gotten into a good fight. So Ally went up to her.
“V’demhe!” She called through the crowd before arriving next to the Alkidike. “Ah there you all are!” Her eyes feel on both Ziel and Masika and she waved to the other Water Hybrid before narrowing her eyes at Ziel. It didn’t look like Ziel had gotten into any trouble, so that was always a good sign. “Mind if I sit for a bit?” She didn’t know if they were waiting on others so she’d rather ask before just stepping in.

Post 5“I am always well behaved!” Ziel pipped in when V’demhe returned and she gave the fighter a smile. Why did everyone think she got into trouble? Sure she got into a few binds sometimes, but never full on actual trouble. Ah well, she’d never understand grownups! “You did quite well out there! I am sure my mom will be coming soon to see how you are.” And sure enough, there was Alassiel striding up to them. “Nice to see you mother!” Ziel said and made some space for her mother to sit next to her before tapping it with a smile.

Karothdra
Post 5“Indeed, you certainly have changed quite a bit,” then in a lower tone. “For the better.” Karothdra chuckled; she wondered how and when the transformation had happened. It was nice to see her childhood friend doing so well, she wondered if her relationship with her mother had gotten better. Nera had always been a little rascal younger, that Karothdra remembered as much. She used to get into trouble as she followed Nera on adventures, her mother would often scold her for returning and dirtying her clothing.
Those had been the good old days, so much less to worry about than now.
Karothdra gave a final nod. “If you want, I can give you some training sessions. I’ve officially joined the army, much to my brothers and mothers disappointment, but I always make time for friends.” Especially powerful friends such as Nera. The Oban woman had influence that most other fighters didn’t have, and she would do well to keep her close by her side. As Nera touched the sensitive spots, Karthdra jerked away with a small giggle. “How do you still remember where I am ticklish?” She said a little incredulous between laughter, then in a more serious tone added. “Indeed we did.”
The Oban looked embarrassed as the child that had come close by said she’d gotten beaten up. “That would be my fault.

Post 5Aseara lifted her hands up in the air, “I’m not assuming anything.” Even so, Aseara couldn’t help but smile. “Or maybe you’re assuming that’s I’m assuming something.” The Wind woman sighed and dropped her hands. “Can’t I just be happy for you? That you’re making friends outside of the Red?” Aseara rolled her eyes and returned her attention on the matches below. “Bring me back something please?” That is if Itotia even decided to come back. “I’ll hold your seat.” The Wind woman watched as the Yaeli moved out of sight and shook her head. One day, she hoped things wouldn’t be so tense.
Now where was Nuri?

Vepkhia .|. Post 3Vepkhia giggled slightly at her companion. They seemed a little distracted, sort of like the way her sister would get distracted sometimes. Especially when she thought about her boyfriend. That thought just made her laugh a little more. "Do you think they'll let us try them all?" She didn't exactly know how vendors were here in Oba so Vep didn't know if they would let them try their drinks before purchasing. jayoku Vepkhia @ Amari! ^.^ Sorry it took me so long >.<

Kresimir .|. Post 5Kresimir's fight had...not gone well. Well, at least it hadn't gone extremely well for either him or his opponent. The girl had seemed nice at least, they both laughed at their blunders which made the match a little easier. He hoped that people didn't look too poorly upon him for his performance. Especially little Veppy and his Mom. Kres was sure they would understand, though he wondered if Itotia and her friend thought him incompetent. He made his way back to the stands. They had invited him back, sort of, so he figured he would at least go see how horribly they thought he did. Who knew when he'd see them next anyway. With is family in Oba, there was no telling if he would decide to go back home with them or not. "I hope I didn't make too much of a fool of myself." Kres said with a light laugh as he approached Aseara. He noticed Itotia was no longer there, perhaps all the people got to be too much for her, he hoped she was okay though. Naevius .|. Post 6Naevius smiled as she observed the look Lasarra shared with her daughter. In a way, it made her some what sad at the same time. She didn't really remember that many memories of her own mother and seeing someone her own age with a child made her wonder how her life might be different if her mother was still around. "Goodluck in your battle. May Jonal give you strength." Even if the Shifter didn't know of their gods, it was still a polite thing to do in Naevius' opinion. Even if their god of War wouldn't help the shifter, there was no point in not trying. She watched as the pair left and tried to keep a mental reminder to try and watch the woman's battle later. "It's interesting to get to interact with her again, in a better setting. I'll tell you all about our first meeting later Vari." She said with a smile to her friend after they were alone again. a pet dino Naevius @ Lasseyn and Lasarra <3 No worries. I know how busy everyone has been lately.

Maybe, anything you try you should see if it will stand up to the trip home and if it will, take a little home for your sister! That way it would kind of be like she had come with you to try everything."Varinia smiled as the woman said it was getting close to time for her battle. She stood, and moved slightly back towards Naevius. "I look forward to meeting you again too, Lasseyn!" She smiled once more and waved as they left. She turned towards her friend once she was finished speaking. "It definitely sounds like it'd be an interesting story. Likely another one of the times you slipped your guard before Sebastien?" Kelina .|. Post 5It was getting closer to be time for Kelina to go and get ready for her battle. Her eyes scanned through the crowd around her. It might be best if they split up to look for the two girls. "I know my battle will be soon so I need to go prepare for that. But I'll keep an eye out for your daughter and ask her to meet you near the rosters if she hasn't seen you yet?" Kelina offered. Hopefully Briella would do the same for her, which Kelina was fairly confident the other would. "It was good to see you again though, and hope that if I don't see your daughter that she's okay!" Kelina smiled kindly before leaving the Alkidike and weaving through the crowd. a pet dino Kelina @ Briella : I don't know if you didn't reply to her last time or if I missed it. Sorry!

A crooked grin claimed Nera’s pointed features brightening her expression altogether, mirth reached pale pink hues making them radiate with warmth before she reluctantly retracted her hands from the smooth, taut flesh of her childhood friend. “For the better, you say. I’m to assume you like what you see then, Karo-darling,” the noble teasingly remarked while easing beside the other woman coiling around one of her muscled limbs and clinging onto it without invitation. “How could I forget where you’re ticklish at, how else am I to get you to toss your head back and make such wonderful sounds.” A snort of laughter escaped the petite lean-figured youth but she fought the urge to saying else too risque despite getting the oddest satisfaction from the act.
Slightly calloused hands idly stroked at the darker skinned Oban’s arm as she clung to it smiling and listening to what she had to say. “That is actually very fitting, you being in the military. I’m proud of you Karothdra. Maybe one day you’ll be a high ranking officer, like your father. Issd knows my mother and your papa need to retire, I bet they would have a tizzy if you did train me. Let’s do it!” Glee fueled the feminine pitch Nera spoke with, out of the corner of her eye she spotted the boy from before. The way his little mouth curved into a worried frown delighted the white-haired noble, Nera found herself ready to answer the little boy yet her taller friend spoke first. It was cute the way Karothdra was so ready to admit to the small child that she was the one that roughed her up.
“She stole my candy,” Nera added, a slim hand rose to her chest in a mock hurt gesture while a giggle betrayed the wounded expression she tried to wear. “Such a mean woman she is, maybe she can make it up to me by treating me to dinner and some of those fun games out there. That sounds fair, doesn’t it Siha.”

NuriHis battles were quick, and he did quite well in the first two. With his skill, he was placed in an advanced tier, and as a result there were few members of the fight, but they were varied by their race. He stood against a shifter at the end, and was forced into the most difficult fight he could stand. She seemed to hit hard, and even with his speed he couldn't last.
With shame, he had come in second place.
Grumbling to himself about how things would had differed if he had his familiars at his side, Nuri washed off and headed to the stands, looking to find his wife and hopefully get some reassurance. His failure reminded him of his youth, of how uncertain he was of his path. It was a tough blow, and he knew he should be proud of second place, but considering the tourney was in his nation, he felt as if he let so many down by losing to an outsider.
Rubbing a hand through his short hair, he wandered the stands until he caught sight of gold on ruby, and moved slowly toward his wife.
As he approached, he took note of a young shifter lingering, but didn't let it get to him as he slid into the seat left open by Itotia and grabbed his wife's hand. Leaving a light kiss on her cheek, he glanced toward the shifter having heard his lingering comment.
"You fought as well?" He asked with curiosity, finally relaxed now that he was with Aseara.

Lasarra Post 7 With most of the fights over Lasarra decided to do some last minute shopping. With her daughter by her side she picked up a few things to bring back home as well as supplies for the journey back home. She had had a lot of fun, but was eager to return home to her other daughter and husband. She also knew she had some training to do. Sure she was strong, but she could be stronger. Should be stronger. There would be a day when no mage could defeat her. "Okay honey, do we have everything we need? I want to try to get out of here before everyone else decides to leave." There would be too much foot traffic then, and she didn't want to risk her daughter getting lost in the crowd.

Lasseyn Post 7 Lasseyn loved following her mother about, meeting all sorts of people and buying all sorts of things. Although she was a little sad they weren't getting any new creatures to bring back home she understood that her mother didn't want to travel so far with creatures that weren't even trained yet. When her mother asked if they had everything they needed she nodded. There was nothing she could think of and was eager to share the food with her sister. Plus she wanted to brag about all the things that she had seen.
