Gemenon was busy giggling from amusement at everything that was going on when suddenly the small purple slime bounced onto his shoulder, nearly knocking him over.
"Oh! Hi there!"

It always seemed easy for Tithorea to just disappear into the background, going completely unnoticed by all of the slimes that hopped passed... all except for one. It looked suspiciously like a baphomet, and it seemed content to nuzzle at his feet.

"Come here you little..." Nerium grumbled, glaring after a particular slime as she chased it down. Before she could properly catch it, she felt something barrel into her form, knocking her to the ground.
"Woah! What?" She scrambled, blinking at the bright green creature that was now beaming up at her.

Lilacina was perhaps one of the happiest people in the world the moment that a rather precious little slime hopped her way and right into her grasp.

The demon was getting noticeably frustrated. It wasn't long before she had found a friend of hers however, grumbling to herself as she approached the other demon.
"Zahra, are you actually trying to catch these things?"

 Avilan didn't like the slimes. He thought they were gross and sticky and annoying! He'd made his feelings about them very clear to his mum and to her credit, Avi was not forced to help out. He wouldn't have done anything if his mum had made him do something he didn't want to. Which was why the little hybrid decided he would just stay out of everyone's way. He wanted these things gone so it was best he didn't do anything to cause trouble. Or stop the other nightmares from getting rid of this infestation. That way, he wouldn't have to deal with anymore slimes.

Setsi was excited to hear about the outbreak of crazy cute slimes at the academy! She raced right over to see what her son and his girlfriend managed to snag, and laughed as Hailey teased Malachi about how long it took him to catch one. "Welp! Now it's my turn!" she said with a big grin. Running out to where the happening was, well, happening, she dove right into the slime hunt with the biggest smile on her face! She ran right towards a cute little slime, arms wide open before she tried to grab it up. "Awww darn! Missed!" she said as she pouted some.

It didn't take long for Setsi to get herself back in the game after the little pink cutie slime she found herself wanting to chase after! She grinned as she got lower to the ground -- though something her son would tease her about it not being a big difference from normal with her normal height -- and crept closer to the little critter. she reached out, wriggling her pink claws its way to try and tempt it toward her. It actually seemed to inch her way, eyes shining as the shiny claws teased it. When the slime gave a bounce up, she reached out and snitched it right up. "That's right you silly thing! You're all for me~"

The little hybrid didn't know what to do. Well, no, that was a lie. She totally knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to catch ALL the slimes, take them home, and give them all names and love them forever and ever and ever and- Several different types of slimes suddenly bounced past her going one way, while another group of them bounced going the other way. The little hybrid was rooted to the spot, absolutely torn on which group to follow and try to capture. It was all she could do not to burst into tears because she wanted them all.

Guess who didn't know what the ******** she was doing here? Point all of your fingers at the geist named Reegan. She was a university student, for ******** sake. What in the Nine was she doing here at the academy? There was something about a swarm of creatures overtaking the school. That wasn't her problem, she didn't go to Asphodel. But her professor had been adamant that they get involved, it would give them inspiration or something nonsense like that. Whatever. The geist was dragging her feet all the way to the entrance. She took one look at the pandemonium going on and begrudgingly had to respect the little critters for doing a bang-up job on chaos.

No one could convince C.C. that her being sent to Below was some form of punishment for all those times she acted "unreasonable." The red and white elf was not looking forward to this assignment. She would complain but she didn't think any of the so-called educators in Below would listen to the voice of reason. Why should someone like her deal with these vermin? Didn't they know she was destined for greater things? Ugh and of course Beefcake McGrady-Geist would just be standing there like some statue instead of doing the smart thing. Like actually use the entrance and go inside the campu- oh. C.C. grimaced at the sight of all those slimes and didn't even bother trying to hide her distaste. "Was I expecting too much from Below or is this par for the course?" she said with a sneer.

There was a part of him that had considered not responding to the chimera's text -- it oozed casual in a way that made him fear he was, once again, inflating the importance of the connection he'd felt when he'd met her that first time -- until he considered the idea that if she expected him, if she wanted him to come... He couldn't disappoint her. That was not, in his opinion, what friends did.
Of course, arriving at the Academy made him pause. This was not at all what he'd expected. A cursory glance around allowed him to spy Mytrax and he lifted an arm to wave. When he noticed a slime making its way towards her, he opened his mouth to warn her only to see her catch it. He chuckled; it appeared the chimera would have no trouble even in a throng of wriggling slimes.
Lux bounced through the chaos of the slimes running amok. It was oddly envigorating and she felt the thrum of competition trip the blood in her veins. She grinned, perhaps she could catch something for Mytrax? A grin, almost feral, spread across blue lips.
The chimera laughed as she darted through the crowd gathering around. She could have simply picked any old slime but she wanted the best for her fiancée. There was a duo, one black and one brown, that made her think of a Grimm. The two slimes were well camouflaged and she knew if she was going to pursue any of them, it'd be those two. They'd be a challenge. With a whistle, she trailed after the slimes. It was as she neared that she leapt into the air, gliding a short distance, and pouncing down onto the creatures. Claws gently folded around the black slime's body.
"You're mine, fella," the chimera cooed. She hefted the slime up into her arms and skipped off to find Mytrax. It didn't take her long to find the other chimera. Nor the imp that had befriended her fiancée. Waltzing up to the group, her smile faltered. "Ah, you already caught one?" she pouted at the chimera.
Huni Pi going to say this takes place after these three have met? idk; can edit if anything is egregrious!

Verve wasn't going to give up! She was going to catch one of these (even if she had no idea whether she would actually keep it) because seriously, there was just so many of them! Everywhere she looked, there was another one just dancing out of her reach. It almost felt like they were mocking her.

Charmstar continued to stay inside his bedroom, pretending that the rest of the academy wasn't being overrun with slimes.

Amihan tried to go about it differently. She began trying to construct traps or use make-shift nets in her attempt at catching the slimes. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to be doing any better than when she tried with her bare hands.

Shard still had no luck in catching any slime. Maybe he was approaching this wrong. ------------------- Renge was pouting and doing her very best not to throw some form of adult tantrum. She took a deep breath and tried to calm down, and as she counted up to ten, she felt something plop onto her foot. She glanced down and staring up at her, with such an adorable if albeit smug look was a slime. How wonderful!  ------------------- Trixie let out a quiet "Eeep!" whenever a slime suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She was nervous and antsy and wished she could catch one already so she could go back to university.

The goblin started at the circus of slimes. A friend (a debateable designation, he decided) had sent a teasing message about how they could use his talents down at the academy. He'd assumed said talent was reference to either his cooking or singing; now, however, he realized it had been a jest about his cleanliness. (As if that was unheard of for a guy.) He sighed, he supposed he couldn't complain when his facade of subserviance was bought. It appeared the slimes that had escaped the building were under the control. He was glad he had worn a t-shirt as he shuffled to the nearest entrance. As he rounded the corner, he felt indignation flare up. He'd tangoed (figuratively, at least) once with that white and red elf. And yet as soon as the flash of dislike ignited, he felt the need to irritate her. She was an elf; a high-society, too-good, better-than-everyone, girl who was quite easily rankled. He knew -- oh, did he know -- this need should be tamped down on until it extinguished but... "Par for your course, I'm sure, Candy Cane," his voice taunted. He grinned, devilish, "Crazy attracts crazy, you know."

Avi was doing his thing, which was staying out of the way. Even if he was also snickering to himself as he watched some of his fellow freshlings trip and slip on the slime trails. At least something good came out of this whole mess.

Xelva eventually got over her indecision by closing her eyes and letting her ears decide. There seemed to be a lot more squeals on her left, which the chocolate and pink hybrid decided meant there were more slimes that way!

Reegan had the misfortune of glancing back and seeing that snotty elf b***h from Theater class. Just because the geist helped in making backgrounds didn't mean she was some sort of slave. She decided to go elsewhere.

Neovi could hardly believe her eyes. When they'd put out a call for more hands to help with some kind of crazy mishap at the academy, she hadn't exactly expected, well- What even were these tiny, adorable slimey little things? She wiped a hand on the edge of her sweater in attempt to wipe off the bit of paint she just knew was still smeared across her fingertips, then reached up to pull her goggles down over her eyes and grin at the bouncing creatures. "Alrighty, slimes, here I come!"

The first slime Neovi made a swipe for dodged away with a delighted little 'eeeee', and the fey couldn't help but laugh despite her failure as it bounced off the head of another Nightmare trying to help out. These things were adorable and pretty crafty, huh? And man at all the colors on them! Maybe if she caught a lot, she could try painting them and then- Another rolled by her foot, distracting her from her line of thought. She watched it go for another couple of seconds, wings fluttering, and then she mad a mad dive for it, hands outstretched.
