Who is Kipande?
A god once promised him their immortality if the leopard followed him as his devout servant for a year. The god was just greedy, however, and fed on the leopard's belief, as it was a rather uncommon domain to worship, and not all too frequently paid special attention. The leopard also waited on the god hand and foot (or rather paw and paw). Want some mortal sustenance? Let me catch it for you. You have special interest in that female? I'll do my best. After service far longer than a year, the leopard returned from an errand to fetch the god some dazzling feathers, the god had simply disappeared and never fulfilled his promise, and the leopard finally realized he had never intended to. Who is Kifuani?
More outspoken and confident than her mother, Kifuani is still submissive, but can step up to defend herself (and Chayah) when backed into a corner. She tries to make light of situations to help her naturally shy and nervous mother. Born of a fling, Kifuani had a much happier upbringing than her mother, but she recognized a pain in Chayah, and always tried to do what she could to lessen it. So when her siblings parted ways at adolescence, Kifuani remained with her mother, as a best friend and a daughter.
Coeur captured and held them captive, and while she was hunting down Chayah's sister (Pur'coeur) in the Stormborn lands, Chayah and Kifuani were seized as thralls. In slavery they found safety from Coeur, though it was cruel. Kifuani bred with Calder to make her less ideal of a salt-wife or be forced to bear a lion's cubs. Luckily for the whole family, Pur came out from the woods and claimed them as family, freeing them all. Kifuani’s Relationships:
