The Geist nodded a little, reminded of their original goal. "For my bird!" the boy echoed brightly, a bit embarrassed he had forgotten in the first place. That's what the cookies had been for originally. He licked his lips, looking to the familiars that had accosted them. "They can come too, but we need to find where my bird landed first."
He thought for a moment, making a short humming sound. "Maybe he found somewhere with a tree?" Caper blinked, leaning onto his toes. "There was, ah, big trees here! For the Solstice. They had gifts under them. Maybe it likes those kind of trees?" The Geist tilted his head to the side. "O-or the little plants Mr. Corben was giving out!"

Aeon smiled and nodded "Yes" then she watched Ami happily playing with the boa and nodded "I prefer the silver one over the gold one, but they are pretty" She said warmly. "So what do you like to do Ami??" Aeon asked
"Yeah it is." Arya agreed then sipped his again. When he sat down at the table he found an abandoned snow globe so he shrugged and tucked it away. "I'm in Arkham. What's in like in Enoch?" He wondered if they still got to draw in the other houses.

"Do you think we will be able to make a snowman army?" Nikora asked the small group, picturing them building a lot of snow people. When the two other freshlings ran off a bit again she blinked in surprise but when they returned and Hailey handed her a bracelet she grinned. "Thank you!" She quickly darted over with Charmstar and grabbed one as well and then moved to give it to Hailey. "And you can have one too!"

Sadly the Demon's luck wasn't quite as good and she ended up with a consolation prize this time. She gave the other girl a shrug and a smile. "Maybe I'll get one next time!" She said, not about to let it get her down.

That was a rather undignified display, Verve thought to herself, sticking her tongue out to let it cool after getting burned. But rather than dwelling on it, the chimera spotted several snow globes up for grabbing and grab one she did. And since Sprout didn't want the familiar, "Here~ maybe you can use it for when you make gifts for your friends. The little statues inside are pretty neat-o."

Charmstar felt his cheeks blush at the gift and immediately slipped it onto his wrist. "Thank you! Um, um, just wait!" he said, dragging Nikora by the hand towards a booth that was also giving away friendship bracelets. He decided to pick a different design than the one Malachi had given him and came back once Nikora had finished her selection.
And just as he handed the bracelet to his fellow fallen, he noticed something glowing in his periphery. A golden wisp seemed to have taken a shine to his own golden wings. "Ooooh!!! Lookit! Shiny!" he declared, pointing to the familiar and glad it wasn't a bitey bird of doom.

She got some candy canes for her trouble. But then she tilted her head, the tinsel boa tickling her chin in the process, causing her to giggle, "Oh but other than flying, I like to-"
Something suddenly peeked out of the boa before skittering up onto the top of Ami's head. "Oh my!" she squeaked in surprise at the familiar's appearance.

Sprout shrugged the slightest, rolling it off. They were confident they could find a familiar of their own - they didn't want to deprive Verve of a friend! They watched with green eyes as the attendant walked away, frowning the slightest. Hot chocolate had sounded nice but apparently the Fallen had been too slow. "Are you okay?" they chirped, unsure what first-aid could even be administered for a burnt tongue. They rolled up on their toes instead, arms out the slightest.
Suddenly the Chimera was onto a different topic and Sprout took the heavy globe into their hands. They tiled their head to the side, ears twitching. "Oh!" Sprout all but gasped. "It's a shame to bust it open, but that's a really good idea Verve!" the Fallen praised, twisting the globe in their hands so the snow fell. "It would be like, the perfect graduation project or something. Not that many of my friends are graduating soon, but still! I'll gladly take it." Sprout smiled warmly, wings twitching the slightest behind them in glee.
The Fallen looked around, suddenly panicking the slightest. What could they give their new friend in return? Verve was already decked out in a myriad of shiny things. Sprout shifted their weight between their feet. Before Sprout could ponder further, the Nightmare with the tray was coming past again and the Fallen snatched their own hot chocolate, blowing over the top with a grin nearly immediately.

Aeon smiled "I like flying too, but I'm not very good at it, and I really only flew at night, because I could barely see in the daylight Above." Aeon said wrinkling her nose. Then she smiled again "I kinda like it down here, wonder how the solar fey are holding up without the sunlight light though" Aeon pondered. Aeon looked at Ami's familiar and then titled her head wondering if her familiar would chase Ami's familiar.. "I have a phantom cat but she's back at my dorm room, luckily.. I just got her the other day do they chase that sort of familiar??" She asked curiously gesturing to Ami's pet.
Sirius puffed up, face warping into a hideous glower, head raising to look down at the smaller male. He almost sneered as he realized just how taller he was, tail lashing violently behind him. How dare he.
"You must be blind then. My tail clearly hadn't moved until yours decided to chum up with it." He snapped, childishly folding his arms. He spotted the gift given to the other man, scuffing. "Oh, isn't that cute?" As if by fate, a child wandered up to Sirius, flinching as his gaze rolled to them. This didn't stop them from shoving bell earrings just like Des' into his hands. What. What. How dare that punk!

Cherubi didn't have time to respond, squeaking as he pulled her aside and hurriedly began heading to a cocoa stand. She didn't think twice about it, instead wagging her tail and clutching her new plush tightly against her chest. She did pause for a second, quickly accepting a book that caught her eye before chasing after Conan.
"Hey, hey!" She called, suddenly having the perfect plan. "After the festival would you like to watch a movie with me? I got the newest romance drama movie and I have no one to watch it with."

Alice trotted with Aphe to the gingerbread houses, head tossing back and forth.
"I don't see why not." That, or Alice would probably throw a damn fit if they told her no. Her daddy didn't decorate much, either! Kappa had tried, but Claus easily was irritated by the blinking lights Alice seemed so fascinated with. Suddenly, she was interrupted in her path, a plant shoved into her little hands. For a second she just stared, pouting before lifting the pot above her head. She wasn't sure she could raise a plant, honestly! She was way too clumsy and forgetful... but she knew someone who wasn't!
"Aphey?" She called, gesturing the plant towards him. "Do you want this?"

It seemed whoever had bothered poor Leif with a antler headband also plopped one on Kadali's head. Unlike her friend, however, she squealed in delight, reaching up to touch them before twirling in place, about to playfully tap Leif with them when she noticed his distress. That, and someone dared to pelt him with a plushie. She bared her teeth, a puff of smoke leaving her mouth as she turned her head, about to tell off the one who had attacked her friend until she felt Leif try and nudge her away. Turning back to him, she huffed loudly, seizing his hand and immediately pulling him towards the nearest stand.
"I got you." She stated, turning her head back to flash her friend a bright smile. "Look! We're reindeer together~!"

As she waited for Samhain to give her a hug, the mutant pulled away slightly, yanking at someone offering bracelets. She had one, which meant Samhain needed one, too. She reached out, slipped it around his wrist (though it was a struggle!).

Chloe couldn't help but jump when someone tapped her shoulder, looking up and immediately blinking back in surprise. No, it wasn't because they were a Daydream (she wasn't that rude!), but it was more because she hadn't expected anyone to notice her! Chloe blended in rather easily, which was always something she liked. Though, it would be nice to have company for a little. She was starting to feel lonely as the festival went on and friends gathered together.
Her eyes flicked around her to take in the scenery. Screaming kids. Groups of people. Excitement, everywhere. Her head tilted side to side to gesture a so-so response, bending over to pick up a plant that was beside a sign that said "Take me!" She held it under her arm, standing back up to address the other.
"Sometimes." Like the Halloween festival, or when the Grimm created a stir! "The academy loves to celebrate, so whenever they find a chance they sometimes go overboard. It keeps the students in a good mood, but it's loud." The emphasis on loud indicated she probably wasn't too much of a fan, but she didn't hate it. It was nice living somewhere where everyone was constantly in a good mood, after all. It was much better than back at her birth place!

Ella shook her head immediately, squeezing his hand when he took hers. It was always a comforting thing when he showed her physical affection! Ella, despite how she tried not to be, was absolutely very needy. Especially when Ganymede was in his more aggressive moods. Foras also wasn't the kind of affectionate she needed, too! But Quilo? Quilo was just right.
"It's okay!" Her voice had perked up, tail wigglign faintly behind her as she slowly seemed to warm up. Now that her best friend was here she could forget about troubles and just have fun! She stuck firmly to his side as he began to lead them, nervously nibbling her bottom lip as the crowd thickened around them. When Quilo broke away she stood there, claws intertwined and knees bent towards one another nervously. It seemed someone took pity on the nervous freshling, dropping a necklace in her stocking. The little freshling peered in, dragging it out and putting it around her neck before lighting up. It was pretty! Her mom would love it!
Now that she thought about it, weren't there a bunch of prizes being handed out? She needed to get presents for her mom and dad.... And Rowan! And Quilo!!! But... what would they like? Her mom would want a book, and her dad would probably like a mug! Rowan.... she could get them matching bracelets with her? And Quilo? She nibbled her bottom lip in thought, jumping when Quilo returned. She'd figure it out, she was sure! Gift Giving day wasn't for a few weeks, anyway!
They finally arrived at the sock puppet stand and Ella wiggled into a seat beside Quilo, instantly seizing a pink sock and decorating it to look as cute as possible. She was sure Ganymede would gag (maybe even hide it in disgust), but she didn't care!

Camrine peeked over her new boa to see who she had hit and was rather surprised to see it was one of the daydreams. She had never meet a daydream before. Camrine blinked and then shook herself out of her wandering thoughts. "Oh I'm sorry are you alright??" She asked the fey, then she laughed at his odd comment "You hardly ruined my fun, I'm more worried I got something in your eyes and hurt you" She said looking him over for watering eyes.
Ash's pale face lit up instantly at the sight of a familiar head of pastel pink hair. "Frey! I, um, I was sort of hoping I'd run into you at some point. It's a lot more fun to explore with someone than alone", she said kind of sheepishly. Not like she could just admit she just wanted to see Frey - she was a little stubborn like that. "I really like the time around the Solstice, people don't give me such weird looks when I hand out random gifts.. the rest of the year I need to be sneakier." Taking another sip of her hot cocoa, she smiled at her friend. "So, have you won anything special yet? I'm determined to win one of the wisps over there, at some point.." she pointed at a booth a bit further down.
"Nice to meet you two~ My name is Sindri. And sure, games are fun!" he quickly agreed to Mani's suggestion, and grinned at Muninn, now noticing the similar eye mutation on the boy. "Hey, can you see out of your special eye? I can't seem to, and it kinda sucks. I mean, having three pupils or eyes should mean you see one and a half times as good as a normal nightmare, right?" His wings fluttered somewhat with excitement at making new friends, and he looked around trying to figure out what game booth they should go try out.
Graciously accepting the offered candy cane, Rowan smiled shyly at Tsukiyomi. "Thank you. Your name is really pretty, and I think your wings are too", they blurted out before blushing a dark purple and quickly looking down at their feet. "I.. I think my sister's here somewhere with her friends, but I don't really have anyone to go to events like this with.. so it would be really nice to look around together!" the imp hybrid continued, fluffy tail tip flicking about. "Which house do you belong to? I'm in Eldritch. I really like history.. but also plants", they said, holding their little seedling close.
Oh uh, a movie date? Spending some time alone with Cherubi while watching a movie? That certainly did sound like a very nice invitation. Still sipping on his hot cocoa he gave her a little nod. "That sounds like a good plan." His tail never stopped wagging behind him, and obvious show of how happy he was to receive the invitation.
"So, what would you like to do while we're here?" As he waited for her answer he felt someone slip something into the stocking. He'd check it out later.

The fey shook his head with a dismissive waving of his free hand. "Oh, I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for asking though. I appreciate your concern. It is to be said that there are certainly far worse things to be struck with than a boa. Fortunately, I had been giving my little plant a looking over, so I hadn't been looking up when I stepped into your spin, nothing had the chance to get in my eyes." He held it up off of his chest, turning in it his hand, showcasing his newest little prize. Fig offered her a smile and eased the small potted plant into his stocking, nesting the pot into his mug. Now, with both hands free, he once again looked to the nightmare in front of him. "Of course, my thoughtless wandering couldn't have helped any. I don't know landmarks yet, so I've just been meandering about to see what there was to see." He paused for a moment before seemingly snapping to attention at a sudden realization, with a perk of his antennae and a soft, brief fluttering of his wings. "Where are my manners?!" Placing a hand upon the center of his chest, just below his flower, he bowed his head to her. "Forgive me. My name is Fig. It's nice to make your acquaintance, Miss...?"
His own tail threatened to cause some serious damage with the way it lashed behind him in increasing irritation. Really. This a*****e was going to insist that his tail was completely innocent in this blatant violation of personal space? Really???"Deny it all the fu---dge you want, I know what happened." He hissed, quickly catching himself as another small child wandered by and handed him a mug of hot cocoa. At least it was in a color he liked. And it was cocoa. None of that coffee s**t.
"Just go away." He rolled his eyes, and started to turn himself a little to see out into the crowd - where had Tengu gotten off to? - but was stopped. Oh god. Not this again. He stared down at the familiar at his feet with a look that could scare most animals to death - but not this one. Oh no. This little flitterat just decided to crawl up his leg. <********-- ******** ******** get OFF" He hastily reached down to pluck the rat off of his leg - thankfully not damaging it -- but was immediately not sure what to do with it. He couldn't keep a flitterat, he already had a vespercat!
Oh, oh boy -- smoke came out of Kadali's mouth! Leif wasn't really sure what that would mean-- would she start breathing fire? Suddenly he felt as though he needed to distract her. Quickly. Although... maybe she'd already managed that? He put on a little smile and nodded. "Y-yeah, we match...!" He sighed a bit, then looked around a little -- "Do... do you think we could play the b-beanbag toss...?" He pointed off to the side with one claw. It seemed safe enough - not in the direct path of the plushie cannons.
A nearby adult tossed a bag of mint candies at him, which he barely managed to catch before it hit his head. What was with all of the head shots?!
Aphelion stared at the plant for a moment, two sets of eyes blinking before he nodded slowly. "I can take it." He then reached out to take the pot - carefully - and then tucked it against his arm. "Ah... it is our turn to decorate." He smiled a bit, and then shuffled up to the table to pick a house. Hmmm... what to do... he could mimic the display, or make one of his own design....
After some thinking, the started icing the house - very, very carefully - and became so absorbed he didn't even notice someone drop a pink bulb necklace around his neck.
Mytrax made one final attempt to win that blasted ruined plushie and she finally reached her goal. The booth keeper handed the badly gnawed on toy, along with the beastly familiar who seemed content with its chew toy.
"A wise decision," Mytrax nodded. "I wouldn't want to deprive you of the rest of the festivities while I put this thing in my room. Hopefully my other familiars will show it who rules the room." There had been an amusing power-struggle between her fennekit and the spectrefoxes, which hilariously enough ended with the gryftoo as the unwilling leader.

When the fallen snagged their own mug and had the foresight to blow the top cool, the chimera nodded sagely, "Smart move, I mean it tastes great and chimeras don't usually got a prob with heat but uh I wasn't expecting it to be that hot." she babbled.
At the mention of graduation, the chimera smiled ruefully, "Heh, my parents wish I were graduating soon so I could go back home. But honestly? I don't wanna."

The chimera was actually pretty nervous about teaching in the academy but she hoped it was going to be a good experience. "Although I don't know enough about fays and your own flight habits, but I'm sure I can work things out. I'm also available for private lessons if the need ever arises."
The fliterrat skittered down to her arm, specifically to her hand that held the candy canes. Its nose twitched towards the candy.
"You know, I don't really know about familiar habits? That's more of my brother's thing."
