Jessica picked her ears up to hear the last bit of the conversation. Hmm, Keme's letting her go off by herself? Strange... She thought to herself. She observed Keme walking back towards the cabin, she looked different, somehow, though Jessica couldn't put her finger on it. Keme approached the building, and her knuckle brushed against... no, it went through the wall! Stranger... She decided not to say anything, and went inside to watch from a window to see if she could find out where the military woman was going.
In the distance, she could hear a clamor that hadn't been there before. Weird...

((OMFG. You'd think I'd learn after the first time to copy and paste my text after typing it all out. But no, I lost this TWICE. I effing hate this website sometimes. Sorry, had to get it out.))
Feeling that she was let go to walk alone on her own a little too easily, Sarah turned to walk away from the cabin as she watched Keme walk back towards it. Realizing that she might still be followed or watched, she decided not to speak to Rick about her situation.
She headed in an unknown direction, not really sure which way they would be headed. She decided to walk towards a broad general area of what she thought they might choose: an open, yet easily hideable area to the south.
Once she had reached a distance from the cabin, she caught movement in the corner of her eye. They had seen her before she saw them. She did the only thing she thought she could do. Raising her arms, she yelled to them. "Here! I'm here!" She was right. A soldier came rushing towards her, carrying a semi-automatic and clad in full body armor. He looked like he was ready for a war. This only made Sarah more nervous. Before he reached her, Sarah began to speak into her microphone to let Rick know she was safe and found. But before she could even open her mouth, her heart dropped. An unfamiliar voice had started to speak into the ear piece.
"Sir, I see movement in the window."
Oh, God, they had already reached the cabin. This wasn't going to be good. Keme, Jessica, and the others were not going to give up without a fight, and she didn't want anyone hurt. When the soldier had reached her-- James, she had recognized as he got closer to her-- she grabbed his weapon and without a moment's hesitation, started running towards the cabin. At this hour in the morning, in all its blackness, they would be in deep camouflage, and would not be seen until it was too late. She needed to get back to send a warning. She ran as quickly as possible, which seemed to be proving more difficult than normal as the drugs were still affecting her movement. "Sarah! Wait!" called James, still a little stunned at Sarah's sudden theft.
Paying no heed, Sarah ran quickly, semi-automatic in hand, not really sure what she was going to do, but hoping she'd come up with something on the way.

((I'm sorry but that's slightly amuzing ^.^ I've had that problem too))
Keme stopped and leaped behind a pile of ruble. The military woman had met with another then for some unknown reason stole her comrades gun and ran back to the cabin. "You better not be doing what I think you are...." Keme ran along in the cover of the ruins

((Haha, I guess it is pretty funny, looking back on it. xD))
During her run, she decided to speak into her microphone, with some hope of this getting called off. "Rick, I'm fine. Abort, abort." Silence answered her back. She continued to run, hoping she wasn't lost, her orientation still a little fuzzy.
She knew she wasn't in command and Rick wouldn't call his team off. She knew him too well; he wanted prisoners, and the General had promised a reward for each one of them. She could almost smell the selfishness.
She had finally gotten within eyeshot of the cabin and saw it to be surrounded by troops. Rick was standing behind a pile of rubble, caught her within his eyesight and winked. His cockiness angering her, she ran towards the cabin, her gun ready, pointing it at the soldiers, and ran inside the cabin, throwing her earpiece to the ground before entering.
"Everyone, wake up. You need to get out. Now." The calm in her voice surprised even her. She had hoped they would listen to her.

((Lol, I hate it when that happens xP Sorry I've been gone for so long. Long story.))
Jessica jumped to her feet and stared wide-eyed at Sarah, who came rushing back holding a gun. "Why? What's happening?" She demanded to know. Listening for an answer, she moved towards the cabinets and grabbed a few water bottles and food rations and stuffed them into a small backback.

Hoerwick jumped up, startled by Sarah. Where is Keme was all he thought realizing somehting must be going on outside. "Miss Jessica, Miss Aila I don't think we have time to ask questions." He knew he shouldn't bring up the question of Keme since that would only cause more grief. Where ever she was she had her reasons for being there and not inside the house with the rest of them.
Keme moved as close as she dared to move. Staying low to the ground and watching the military man before her. His back was turned to her and he seemed to be in charge. This man also had a connection to Sarah. If he did anyhitng Keme could and would react the way she was ment to if it was the only was to stop the attack. "You people are so annoying you know that?" she asked calmly now right behind the man, "Don't bother pulling your gun to aim at me, it wont work and I don't want trouble. That goes for the man hiding over there too." Keme pointed to the location of a snipper who thought he was hidden till she called him out.

Glad that she had caught the attention of the cabin dwellers, Sarah nodded at Hoerwick's statement. "I'll explain later. Right now, you need to get what supplies you can and get ready to leave. I'm going to try to hold them off. I'll tell you when to go."
****
Meanwhile, Rick had suddenly found himself in an awkward position. Someone had come up behind him, and it had startled him, and was disappointed and surprised that his team did not see the intruder approach him. He turned at Keme's words and saw something other than a human stand before him. He sneered at her. "My, we're quite sneaky." He noticed no weapon on her, but her body armor was a bit intimidating. No matter, he had a large supply of help if he needed it. "But I must apologize that you are unfortunate to be surrounded. You're pretty outnumbered, and if you hurt myself, Sarah, or my team, you're looking at a pretty unlikely chance of survival. Hand over Sarah and surrender yourselves, and there will be no casualties tonight."
"Sir," someone had called into his ear. "She's leaving the cabin."
Rick had not pulled out his gun like she requested, but he knew his back up was well targeted and would wait for him to give the order to fire. He looked back to the cabin to see Sarah emerge, gun still pointed at his direction. Stupid woman, Rick laughed to himself. Hot, but stupid. He was a little surprised at how she had turned, considering her past with murder and obeying orders; she was usually pretty obedient. He wasn't naive to think that she was a prisoner, he knew she could get herself out of the situation if she needed to; her training had already proven that. No, he just needed the excuse to pull his troops to do the job for her. Plus, he'd get credit for the rescue and the capture. It'd be a good day for him. "Sarah," he called, as casual a smile as he could put on his face. "You've done your job well. You've kept them uninformed of our arrival and now we have them surrounded. Man, you are a good spy. We can take it from here."
*****
The anger boiled up inside of her. "Rick, you came to rescue me, and here I am. Now leave them alone and let's get back to base. They are no threat to you or anyone else."
"I beg to differ, Sarah, as this creature here has demonstrated. It is obviously intent on hurting me in some way." He sneered at Keme again. "Drop the act, Sarah, we've got em. You don't need to fool them anymore."

Keme coughed loudly, "Um? I believe you are mistaken on all accounts Mister Rick. I walked past your men even waved at one looking me dead on." Keme looked at the different military people that did surround her then to Sarah, "I hope you know what your doing.... cause I ain't got a clue." She smiled and turned back to Rick again, "By the way I'm a eight year human so would you please stop calling me 'it' and 'creature'. Or must I start calling you..."
Keme stopped and jumped back away from Rick a few feet putting her arms up in a x-cross position. Another man had entered the area and his maner and air about him made Keme uneasy

Jessica finished packing the backpack and listened to the conversation between Sarah and this new guy Rick. She felt that she could somewhat trust Sarah a little more, she didn't seem to want anyone dead, unless it was an act like Rick said. "Sarah," she spoke from the doorway of the cabin "Are we going to have to fight?"
Her ribs were still hurting from the fight with the black creatures, and it would be difficult to win this one. She stood near the doorway and waited for an answer, but she made sure that no one outside the cabin could see her.

((I wish I knew who this strange man is; I don't know whether to role-play this guy or not (if he's a soldlier, etc.), and it's causing me to wait to continue! Sorry, I just don't want to mess anything up... this is getting exciting!))

((This is the part where Keme and Hoerick go: o.0 "Oh no!!" and Rick "Yippee!"))
"Zero four one nine eight four dash zero zero three. Stand dawn!" the man was a soldier holding his gun at ready. His gun had a small INFINITY CORP. logo on it.
*Alert* Authorize SDC Recognized
Keme was shocked, she hadn't planned on meeting anyone from the list having known all the scientist, except Hoerwick, were now dead. She was forced to drop her guard letting her head, the part of her that regenerated the slowest and weakest of all parts, fall into the man's aim.
"Don't worry, sir. Zero zero three can't do anything without inacting punishment from her suit," The man nodded to the biomechanical suit Keme wore. "Sorry, sir for bing rude. I was sent as soon as I returned to back you up," the man gave his rank and name to Rick. He's name was Sam Kasper, and Keme knew he was one of the military people who was a guard to the general who visited the lab after 005 was brought to life.

((Lol, it's only been two pages, so you can read it... But I'll tell you anyways. Basically Rick has set up an ambush for us cabin-dwellers, and Sarah doesn't want us to get hurt, so she's trying to call him off. Keme has approached Rick, and she's also trying to reason him out of attacking us. But a man from Infinity Corp, who can control Keme, has walked into the scene and screwed everything up for us. xd ))

Sarah held a finger up to Jessica, looking at Keme and Rick. When she was about to answer Jessica's question, Keme jumped back, alarmed at something, and when she saw the newcomer enter the area, Sarah knew in the back of her mind this wasn't going to be good.
Rick eased up a little, though still unsure of the actual ranking of this man. He didn't trust anyone, especially someone he had never met. He motioned for two of the other soldiers to keep an eye on him. "Well, I guess you'll have to forgive me for being rude, because I'm going to have to call this in. You should understand. What with all the things going on, can't be too sure of anything anymore. I can say, though, if this does check out, you are a welcome arrival." Another solider ran to him, one carrying a communications box, and Rick dialed a number on the box and held the reciever to his ear.
Sarah's gun was now positioned on the man. She was now looking a little hopeless, wondering what would happen now that they didn't have Keme to back them up. Sarah bent down to remove the small handgun from her ankle, ready to throw it to Jessica when the time was needed. Right now she didn't want to give away Jessica's position.
