News had finally reached the Confederate colony of Nubia about the fall of the Confederacy Empire with the arrival of a Federation consular ship. The Governor and the people as a whole were given the news on planetary television and the offer the join the Federation was extended to the planet. The Governor held an election of sorts to see what the people wanted, but of course, the amount of people who wanted to join greatly outweighed those who didn't. Governor Stover was re-elected as Governor of Nubia, a Federation colony. The captian of the consular ship announced his second mission after the re-election of Stover. He was here to develop better communication, so that next time something happened, Nubia would not be left out.

After the initial settlement, Nubia had seven cities, however, when the consular ship arrived, there were thirty-two cities spread across the world and one billion two hundred and fifty-three million residents. It had been seven years since Nubia was settled by the Confederacy.
