SC growled and face-palmed when she heard Mirai. "Arg! This is such a PAIN! Look, I need you to use your crazy berserk demon form okay? I mean, come on! I poisoned your boyfriend, insulted you, broke into your realm, implied that I hurt one of your friends, attacked you and you're still so stupid you just don't go ahead and cut loose! Honestly, how do you dress yourself in the morning? Did one of those shards go into your brain while you were still in the womb? You are SO oblivious!! Ugh, just change into it already, okay? Stop wasting my time. I have things to do." Texas blinked and looked up at Mirai. "Uh, berserk form?" He asked, not having witnessed it personally. "How strong is it exactly? Do you...lose control of yourself?"

SC peeked out from between her fingers when she heard Mirai. "Oh but I can make you," she replied, her frown turning into a smile. "It's just a matter of how long you want it to take." She lowered her hand, still smiling. Texas listened to Mirai as she telepathically explained what had happened. What? No! I'm not 'getting away from you' if you lose it! Especially if staying in it hurts you! Don't worry, if you change I'll get you back Mirai, I promise. There's no-" Texas's next sentence was cut off as a phase blast ripped through the flames of his sword. "Arrg! D*mn!" Texas yelled as he felt the pain from the blast. SC had her hand extended, smoke still curling off her palm from the blast. "Don't forget, you're not only getting yourself beat up in this losing battle," SC purred.

SC watched as Mirai threw Texas out and created a barrier, her grin growing slightly. "Wait! Mirai!" Texas cried as he resumed his human form, running up to the barrier. "Don't do this if it's going to hurt you more!" He told her. SC ignored Texas and raised her palm towards Mirai again, firing another phase blast to cover her assault before she ran forward aiming a spin-kick at Mirai's head.

Texas ran to the telekinetic barrier as Mirai created it, slamming his fist against it. He saw her change into her berserk form. "Mirai!" He yelled, punching the barrier again. "Mirai let me in! I can help!" SC watched Mirai go into her cocoon and begin to transform with a serious expression. One could even tell she was nervous if they looked closely. She raised her hands in preparation when the cocoon exploded outwards, sending her reeling backwards. Holy...." Texas whispered, forgetting the barrier for a moment. This was what beat the living crap out of him back in the Machinist Headquarters? From the wavelength he was surprised whatever it was had managed to avoid killing him.

It seemed the berserk Mirai wasted no time in getting down to business. SC launched herself backwards as Mirai attempted to impale her, but was only successfully able to dodge two of the tentacles. The other two ran straight through her, holding her up briefly and leaving her wide open for the telekinetic blast. The blast hit her, blowing her straight back out of the tentacles (causing more damage) before sending her through the adjacent wall. The smoke obscured everything for a moment before SC slowly limped out, looking angrily at Mirai. "So that's what good ol' Texas felt like while you were giving him the beat-down? Ouch." She was holding her shoulder with one of her arms, the other down by her side. "But it's gonna take more than that!" She yelled before raising her free hand. The Entanglement strings that had been spread out across the hallway quickly jerked inwards, pulling together around Mirai as they all attempted to slice through her at the same time. Texas's arm flashed into a flame blade and he pressed it hard against the barrier, slowly beginning to burn through. It would take a while, but Texas wasn't about stand there and let Mirai fight by herself, even if she did have everything in hand. The barrier sparked and sizzled slightly as Texas began his efforts to cut through it.

SC slammed straight into the ground as if she was made of lead as soon as Mirai's shockwave hit. She quickly tried to get up but was slammed down again. The blasts continued to hit her, preventing her from even having a chance of standing up. As soon as the brutal assault stopped, SC got to her feet, but only in time to receive a powerful kick to the back. She coughed up a mouthful of blood before shooting forward and straight into the wall punching through it and crashing into another room. She slid across the ground almost to the other side of the room before stopping herself and slowly getting to her feet. Meanwhile, Texas continued cutting through the barrier, slowly but surely making a crack as he continued. SC launched a half-hearted phase blast at Mirai hoping to slow her down a little if nothing else.

SC ducked and weaved as Mirai hurtled pieces of debris at her. One thing she was good at was agility. She ran towards the barrier Mirai had created as she dodged. When Mirai sent a blast of telekinetic energy at SC it blew her backwards, slamming her straight into it. SC left out a *whump* of air before falling back down to the ground. She spit out a mouthful of blood as she heard Mirai. "Get bent," she replied angrily. Texas looked into Mirai's eyes and shuttered. Was this really the same girl he had been laying next to moment ago? She looked like some kind of jungle cat hunting her prey. It was then that his eyes moved to the barrier she had created. He hadn't been making much progress with it on his own, but it seemed that when Mirai had slammed SC back into the barrier, it had formed a decent sized crack. He quickly ran over to it and slammed his sword arm against it, attempting to slowly burn his way through the small opening. Meanwhile, SC slowly got to her feet and raised her hand towards Mirai. "Phase Blast!" She yelled, firing her largest blast yet at the maddened hybrid. She knew the only reason she had lasted this long was because she had chosen her anti-madness form to fight Mirai knowing full well it would help her take more damage against this foe.

Texas noticed the cracks in Mirai's barrier right away and increased the intensity of his flames. He slammed his sword down against the weakened barrier, quickly melting through it. No sooner had he stepped through the barrier than SC whirled to face him. She darted towards him, running at high speed. Texas wasn't intimidated though. He raised his sword in preparation for an attack. He swung as soon as she reached him but instead of attempting an attack, there was a flash of light and SC switched back to her regular form. She sailed over Texas's shoulder and hit the ground before bolting down the hall. Texas spun as she began running. "Gah! Crap! Get her!" He sprinted after her, running down the hallway as she skedaddled around the corner, trying to get away.
