JabberWhut stared at the weird crown serpent thing. Dude, it was creepy. But then again, that seemed to be the pattern with the bosses here. All creepy, crowned, and--
He saw a better version of himself being awesome, KO-ing bosses, not rolling dumb heals and defenses when he reeeeally didn't need them, the whole thing was meh.
JabberWhut decided then that he wanted to kill the stupid serpent thing. This was dumb. He kicked it, but of course cause the dice loved trolling him or something, he rolled super heals. He was going to offer the remains of Mr. Serpent Dude to the gods of dice.

You see a better, smarter, greater version of yourself. They are doing all the things you've wished you had done. You feel lesser of a person. The monster... was flickering. At first it was her, and then, it was someone else-- someone better, wiser, with more experience. Her heart broke. She couldn't take it anymore... Touching the card she won from before, OCTOPU55Y pursed her lips.
OCTO was curious about how this card worked. So. She kinda. Used it. "Ability card: MAGICAL GIRL!" She called out, and with a flourish, her outfit and appearance completely changed. She now felt completely the same, but with a frilly, sheer and watery looking outfit, holding her large syringe. She blew out a piece of hair from her face, eyes wide. "Well." She said with an exhale, then rolled her eyes, going off to heal the next person. Well, at least she could heal in a cute outfit.

"It's… its almost a serpent." he marveled, and with it there was the shade, the taunt of his better self again, all to reminiscent of what he had seen in that mirror, no, not just seen. The thing that had stepped through the mirror and shown off how much better than he it was. IT was, because it was not him, it was a mockery of what he wished to be. I am, exactly what I need to be… at this moment. - it was a reminder to himself and it gave him some small comfort at least before he started to work to heal.
