Still digging. Still complaining. And then, finally... SHE FOUND IT. THE PERFECT ORNAMENT.
But the items she had to work with, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh A smooshed orange preyon and some broken smackeroni pieces later, Mia made some sort of atrocity that she wished was never born.
She looked over at Olivia's ornament and smiled, patting the little ghoul on the head (how in the world did she get smackeroni in her hair...). "That looks, um, wonderful!" Asides from the green and cracks, it was actually pretty nice.
Perfect Ornament!

Oh, some of the ornaments were broken? Mayaa looked at the one she had picked out, noting that it had cracks on it. But that's ok, she was going to pretty you up, so no one would see the cracks!
This was the prettiest little ornament EVER.

Edel hadn't noticed that the ornament she had been working on had been cracked until, well, she noticed the crack. The cracking was pretty extensive, though the ghoul imagine that it could still look quite nice if she worked with them ... but given the materials she had now, that was going to be a little difficult. Sighing, the frost demon unravelled whatever work she had done on the ornament and looked for another undamaged one.

Fishing another round ornament out from the box, Edel discovered a minor crack on it; it was less extensive than the ornament she originally had, but it was still visible. The ghoul decided not to take the chance that it might crack before she submitted it later, and took for looking for a good ornament again.

This one is looking alright, the ghoul thought as she inspected the ornament, turning it around in her hand while checking for cracks. It was good to go, and the ghoul sat down to decorate the ornament once more. The weaving process was a little complicated, but the frost demon had managed to work out how to create a few patterns with the buttons and macaroni with the yarn. Once she was satisfied with the way it coiled around the ornament, Edel glued the decorations onto its surface. Just one final touch left. Edel took a breath and blew lightly onto the ornament, giving it a final dust of tiny ice crystals for extra shine.

Quote: 2- Stage 1 cracking... very minor Lihua inspected and looked over her round ornament. It had a few light minor scratches on it nothing major. She tooked out her supplies from earlier. Quote: Yarn, Pipe Cleaners and Rudolf Snot She started to wrap the yarn and pipe cleaners around the ornament and then used the Rudolf Snot to decorate the open spaces with dots.

Perfect ornament~!
By whatever luck was on his side this time, Neithan's random snatch'n'grab resulted in a rather perfect looking ornament instead of a cracked one. It was only his own strength that he then had to worry about, he supposed. Picking up the preyons, the buttons, the bells, and the glitter, the boil bent down over the delicate object. After a while of scraping, gluing, and a few moments of his fireball sparking uncomfortably... he leaned back and actually felt satisfied with his work. A little proud, in fact. The bells tinkled on the tips of the diamond, fake gems on the buttons catching the light in a pleasant fashion. He'd gone minimal on the glitter. But the effect with the way the preyons had worked--it'd taken him a while to figure out how to properly color on the ornament... but the fading effect looked cool. Huh.
Perhaps he had more of an artistic touch than he'd first imagined..? As this thought really settled, he wasn't sure what to think of it, or sure of if he approved.

When TK took an ornament, he said nothing as he stared at the cracks. That just wouldn't do.

The next ornament wasn't as bad, but it still had minor cracking. The boil pursed his lips before also putting this one back.

It had taken TK a few tries to get it, but he finally managed to grab a perfect ornament. Phew. All of that effort, however, and he didn't know how he wanted to decorate his ornament. Scattering on the glitter was simple enough, but the buttons and smackaroni were a problem. Confused and at a loss, he glued the buttons on like rings on the ornament while he haphazardly put on the smackaroni in random shames and orientations.
