Cubchoo burst out laughing, she pointed at the poor thing, even Allen chuckled a bit. He looked up at Cody then to Abigail. "So, to route 120? I know I'd actually like to see the Ruins there." And that was true, he'd been a ruin enthusiast all his life. The stones back in Kalos in Geosenge Town were always so interesting to him. He sighed thinking about it, "Anything you guys are into?"

"Ruins mean spooky ghost pokemon," Cody grinned, looking down at his Poochyena. "I know he'd be down," the boy said with a nod. "I also know Pikachu would be happy to get some battle time in. Plus, I'm a nut for a good adventure." Looking over to Abi, the boy asked, "What about you? You in for a good haunting?"

Abigail twisted her fingers together nervously. She wasn't scared of ghost pokemon. No way. "I'm as ready for it as the next guy. Right Squirtle?" By this point, Squirtle had returned to Abigail's side; his reaction was simply to laugh at Abigail, because he knew that she was scared of them. "I love haunted houses!" Abigail added. "Let's go for it!"

He nodded in her direction, appreciating her strong will. "I can dig that," he replied. "I'm not really one for haunted houses, per se, but when adventure calls, my pokemon and I are always ready to step up." He looked her up and down, noting her size. "I wouldn't take you for the type, but who am I to judge, right?"

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Abigail's tone suddenly changed to one of defense and agitation. "I can hold my own." She began, as if to prove her point, to walk slightly faster than the boys so that she was a bit ahead. Squirtle waddled quickly after her, though he had trouble keeping her pace with his short, stubby legs.

Allen chuckled at their exchange as they hit the Lilycove City limit. Cubchoo then noticed the Squirtle, her eyes went wide, "Cuuuuuub!" She ran over, nearly tumbling a couple times, her mucus drop wobbling around freely. Just then, the trainer noticed a bunch of bikes sitting outside of a cafe "Heh... Hey guys, wanna ride over there instead?" Allen thought back, that question had him reminiscing. Immediately, he withdrew the offer, feeling apologetic. He quickened his pace, looking around at the others.

Cody chuckled as Abigail took offense to his comment. "Don't worry about it," he started, quickening his pace as well. "I'm sure you'll do fine." He nudged her jokingly and looked back at Allen in response to his question. "You mean like steal those bikes?" He looked over to the cafe, mentally picking out the one he wanted. "I've done worse."

Squirtle noticed Cubchoo and gave her a big grin, waving a bit to the pokemon before walking over to her to investigate. Abigail let her gaze wander over to the bikes that Allen was referring to. She had never stolen before (or, at least, nothing more than some gum or chap stick) and she didn't relish the idea of starting. However, she did realize that it would be much faster. "Would it be a good idea to steal the bikes, though? I feel like that might draw attention to Aqua more, if anyone were to see us..."

"Wait... Do you want to?" He'd always been shunned for having the thoughts to steal things, but Cody seemed to approve of the thought. He looked over to Abigail, "Well, you know, if we take off the jackets no one would know it was Team Aqua. I've always been against uniforms." He chuckled, becoming more relaxed. "Besides, we'll ditch them somewhere." He shrugged.

Cody snickered at the thought. Such honest minds. "You guys are so cute when you're innocent," he joked. "I call the red one!" He returned Poochyena to his pokeball and started for the cafe. "I sure hope you guys are ready for this." He brought a bobby pin out of the front pocket of his backpack and slipped it into the keyhole of the padlock that held the bike lock together. In seconds, he was discarding the whole chain and pulling the red road bike from the rack, throwing a leg over the frame and securing his pokeballs to his belt as he waited for his teammates to grab their own. "If you need any help with the locks, let me know," he mentioned.

Allen beamed, "Aw yes." He ran over, picking a deep reddish-purple road bike, "Would you?" He held up the chain to Cody, "I was just gonna have Cubchoo freeze the lock and smash it, but picking the lock would be a bit quicker." He chuckled.

Cody quickly dismounted his bike and ran over to Allen, pulling the bobby pin out from behind his ear, and slipping it into the lock hole. "I've been doing this since I was twelve or so," he commented as the lock popped open. "But you'd probably never guess." He slipped over to Abi's bike and did the same, discarding the chains and returning to his bike on the ground. "Now, let's get out of here before we get caught."

"Definitely!" Allen couldn't help but laugh a bit as they rode away. It was great! Not a great a high as that police chase, but this was a pretty decent second. "You did that pretty quickly, so I would assume you've been at it awhile, but not twelve!"

Cody smiled, realizing it had been a long time since he had time to have this much fun. "Yeah, I've been around the block a few times. Some run-ins with Rocket mainly, but I don't want to bore you with all that." Cody looked around, enjoying the beauty of Lilycove at night. As the seasons changed and the winter got colder, the city started lining the trees of the main streets with white Christmas lights. It was a beautiful ride. "What about you, Allen? If you don't mind, what are you doing here? What do you think attracted Archie to you?"

What indeed, he'd been discussing this with Dark earlier. To be honest, he wasn't sure what Archie wanted with him. He had a history of theft. Things big and small. Cars, weapons, even things as pointless as shirts from clothing stores. He wasn't caught but a few times, for some of the more minor things. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I mean, I have a history of theft, but it's all been simple things unlocked cars, unattended purses things like that. Anyways, I'm sure that's not the reason." He cleared his throat and kept silent for a minute, "So, I take it it's your having been around the block that makes him interested in you, then?" Trying not to think back on it, he'd been broken of that back home...
