Emma continued watching the view for a few more minutes. The marks extending from her tattoo on her neck retreated the rest of the way then. After that, she stood up, glancing around before pulling out the pills she had. She stared at them for a moment before quickly making them burst into flames. Once that was over she turned and walked inside. She eventually located the bedroom and walked in, seeing Herald was already there. She walked past him since she was unsure if he was awake or not and went to the bathroom to take a bath. She glanced at her clothes as she saw how ripped they were now and sighed. She moved them into a pile and waited for the water to fill up in the tub most of the way before getting in. Her body still felt sore for some reason, causing the warm water to be a slight relief now. She glanced up at the ceiling finally as she began relaxing as she recalled the events that happened. I really need to get stronger... a voice in her head said as she closed her eyes for a few seconds and sighed again.

Never Again...After several minutes of laying on the bed in thought, Herald got up and walked into the bathroom, looking down at Emma as she lay in the bathtub. "We need to get stronger," he told her as if he had read her mind. "Strong enough to kill Divine." Will I be bound in chains

Emma opened an eye towards Herald. She nodded up at him "Will you help me train?" She asked him with a serious expression.

Never Again...Herald looked down at Emma for a moment before kneeling down next to her. "I will," he promised. "And we will become strong enough." He reached out and took her chin with his hand, leaning in and kissing her before leaning back again. "Strong enough to kill Divine once and for all." Will I be bound in chains

Emma smiled softly towards Herald and nodded "Sounds like a plan." She told him. After a few moments to glanced at one of his hands then back up "Thank you for taking that one attack for me... I think I would have been in much worse condition if Atticus' attack hit me." She told him.

Never Again...Herald nodded. "But you were still injured." He frowned slightly as he spoke. He cocked his head slightly. "I didn't know you had a third form," he told her. Will I be bound in chains

Emma looked away when he mentioned her third form "I do... I don't like it though..." She told him and left it at that. She subconsciously rubbed the back of her neck slightly.

Never Again...Herald nodded. "I see," he replied as he lowered his hand. He sat back slightly, unsure what to say to comfort her. She seemed bothered by the fact that her strength lay in her fear. Herald's certainly didn't. He watched her in the bathtub, thinking on what to say next. Will I be bound in chains

Emma was silent for a bit as she looked at the water "I don't like it... I want to control my own power not my fear... or them..." she told him. She was silent again before looking at him "Do you want to join me?" she asked. She knew it felt random but thought it would be good to ask now rather than never.
