Freya could hardly hear Kettil, because from the moment she'd arrived, all she could hear was the sound of fashion. Ohhh, she wanted it all. She wanted it all and she didn't know where to start.

"Ja." She breathed, inching closer and closer to a stall selling the sexiest little mini skirts she'd ever seen in her life. Were they even miniskirts? Or handkerchiefs?

She didn't care. She'd wear that as a miniskirt. And she'd rock the hell out of it.

Kettil followed after her with a bit of a smirk. He knew she'd love coming here as it had all of her loves in one place. He loomed over from behind her to see what she was staring at and he wasn't sure what it was himself. "That looks interestin'."

There was a ghoul at the stall looking bored and disinterested for a moment or two as she read through the latest teen fashion magazine, "Yeah. It is the latest. My Dad had it brought in," she sighed listlessly and then paused.

He hadn't recognized her but she surely recognized him, "Kettie?! Is that you?!"

That was when Kettil recognized her and he made a bit of a face, "...Hi Lena."

Oh dear Jack, fresh fashion. Freya's eyes glittered like giant diamonds as she took one of the red ones down, and held it up to her figure. It would fit perfectly.. she couldn't wear it here, of course, far too short for parent time - but back at Amity, or even just for Kettil-

Kettie?!

Freya almost dropped the skirt when she heard the squeal. She looked at the ghoul with confusion, before turning to Kettil and reading his expression like a book. But, in the end, he made it far easier for her to know what was going on when he said that name.

That name.

Freya's face turned just as sour, and she shoved the miniskirt back on the rack with a flourish. No amount of fashion sense was going to make her buy anything from this b***h.

Lena was now in flirt mode as she put her magazine down and leaned forward a bit so her top could slip down just enough to show off some of her assets. "I forgot how handsome you were!" She purred at him as she was now blatantly ignoring Freya.

He was looking her right in the eye and refused to deviate from anything else as his arm draped around Freya and he pulled her closer to him, "Let me introduce you to my ghoulfriend. This is Freya." Kettil refused to play Lena's game it seemed, "Freya, this is Lena. We kinda know each other for a while."

The ghoul's expression was one of sweetness with a flicker of distaste only crossing over it for a second, "Oh, how nice of you to take her out like this." Lena replied cheerfully, it was like she was insinuating that Freya needed a leash like a dog.

The sound of Freya's knuckles cracking was audible. She didn't mind being ignored. It would make it easier to rip this ghoul's hair out. She reached out for it - but Kettil's arm wrapped around her and pulled her close, and her eyes widened just slightly. She looked up at him, and a goofy smile played on her face for just a minute. She knew exactly who Lena was, but she was too giddy off the way he claimed her so quickly as his own.

That is, until Lena talked down to her like she was a pet.

"Ja, he's real nice like that." Freya's goofy smile was gone, and a smug, satisfied one took its place as she turned to look at Lena. "Takings me out all the time. Today's special though." The smug smile had just a hint of highschoolbitch in it. "He's takings me out shoppings for engagement rings."

No, no, just no.

"Lisa, is it? So nice teh meets someone from Kettil's past."
PostPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 4:39 am

Kettil wasn't sure what was going on here. He was not well versed in ghoul subtext when they battled with each other verbally about boils. The talk about engagement rings only made her hold onto Freya a bit tighter out of excitement. In fact suddenly Lena wasn't there anymore.

The ghoul just gave Freya a narrow eyed content smile with only a little shock flickering over her face at the mention of engagement rings, "That's real nice for the both of you. Kettil is so kind to want to take care of you." It was more a insinuation that Freya was very much beneath Kettil.

He was still in wedding bell land with a dreamy look on his face.

She saw that flicker, Lena. She sees u thar.

She heard the insinuation. Her hand itched to summon her axe and show Lena just how beneath her she was, by putting her severed head on the floor beneath her feet. The rage boiled just beneath the surface, ready to intensify at any second.

This wasn't about jealousy. This was about knowing what the cold hearted b***h in front of her did to Kettil, so long ago. Freya wanted revenge, for him - and she wanted it in warm, gushing blood.

But she had to settle for Lena's tasty, tasty regret.

"Yehr right." She murmured, turning up to look at Kettil. He seemed so happy. So content to have her by his side. So blissful. So..

"He takes such good care of me." Freya's voice was soft, as a blanket of understanding fell over her. Lena might have been the dirt under her feet, but she wasn't wrong. Kettil had saved her from herself, so many times. He took care of her, and she depended on him for more than just love. More than just friendship. She depended on him to keep her head above water.

And here she was getting his hopes up about marriage just to spite a stupid ghoul.

Her head tilted down, and she rested her cheek against his shoulder. "I'm a lucky, lucky ghoul."

Lena huffed and crossed her arms over her chest as she watched them for a long moment. Now she just wanted to get back at Freya by driving a wedge between them somehow and in desperation she put on a pretty and sweet smile, "Kettie you promised me a kiss some months back. You have to own up to your promises, y'know!"

He was gazing at Freya and was in happy land and then Lena's voice made the illusion crash for a moment as his dark green eyes regarded her, "I consider that promise pretty much non-existent now seein' as you made your choice."

There was a small pause and then she pouted at him playfully, "But...you promised me, I wanted to know if you're good or not, or if I needed to teach you." Lena's pout turned into a small devilish grin.

Speaking of crashing illusions down. Or, stalls. Crashing stalls down.

Freya went from the sappy love-soaked ghoul in Kettil's hands, to a harpie that flung herself at the stall, both hands reaching to wrap around her tiny little neck. She was hissing at the ghoul, something that sounded quite a lot like He is ourssssssssss oursssssssssssssssssssssssss, when she kicked the front of the stall with her heels and tried to climb over it so she could bring Lena to the ground.

Catfight much?
PostPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 5:03 am

Lena screeched and tried to fend Freya off with flailing limbs and Kettil for a moment or two was in complete and utter shock. What should he do? What is the right thing to do? Should he just let her beat Lena within an inch of her life?

The thought was very tempting. A crowd was gathering and so to save Freya's dignity to a degree Kettil suddenly bounced into action as he moved forward, his arms wrapping around Freya's waist to pull her away, "Túkut! Calm down! You know I would only kiss your lips! Anyone else won't do!"

The ghoul behind the stall was working at pulling and tearing at what she could reach of Freya just out of pure maliciousness now, at least until Kettil spoke. Then it seemed Lena understood something and felt oddly hurt.

Freya was, of course, easy to pick up and pull away. She still flailed every limb she had for every second she was close enough to inflict damage, and she was pretty sure she'd just ripped a strand of hair out, which she clutched victoriously in her hands. Her hair had suffered a similar fate, but there was so much of it, it was impossible to even tell that a few thin tendrils had gone missing.

She went limp when Kettil finally held her, looking much like a cat giving up the fight and playing dead in his arms. Then she came to life again, and wrapped herself around his waist, before climbing with an agile grace up around to rest on his back. Once there, Freya's arms rose up in the air and her eyes looked as though a fire raged within.

"Ouuuuurrrrssss."

She was not done being crazy.

Lena definitely had some of Freya's hair twined about her fingertips as she gathered herself back up looking pretty torn up from the sudden battle with The Beast known as Freya. She gasped and panted as she pointed at her, "You're insane!"

The boil only smiled as she suddenly had a Freya on his back, his arms reached back to support her, "And she's mine," there was so much pride in his voice.

Her finger dropped and she just stared at Kettil as he stared up fondly at what he could see of the 'battle scarred' Valkyrie on his back. Lena was aware that she not only just lost the battle but the war as well. A war she wasn't aware she was fighting just then.

"If you'll excuse us...You've upset my bride-to-be." he said softly and then started to walk away with Freya leaving Lena aghast and confused.

That was true. She was, definitely, insane. There was no reason why Kettil should have loved her as much as he did.

But he did. And she loved him back, just as fiercely, and just as completely.

The beast on Kettil's back melted into something less frightening when she heard him claim her, and she bent her head all the way forward to claim his lips with her upside down mouth. She giggled, feeling the bounce as he walked away with her on his back, and she turned to wave her fingers cheekily at Lena. Instead, a moment later, she turned back to Kettil and whispered something into his ear.

"Baby." Her voice sounded.. a little embarrassed. "I changed my mind. I think I do wants one of those skirts."

Fashion had won out, after all.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 5:26 am

Kettil returned the kiss when she bent over to grace him with one and he just grinned goofily at her. Her request only made him pause for a second or two, but obediently he turned about and approached the stall once more because he wanted to please his Freya.

She wanted a skirt? She was damn well going to get one, even if she did just assault the ghoul selling them.

"Ahh, sorry, how much for those skirts, Lena?" Kettil asked with a grin.

Lena only stared at him. He was apparently just as crazy as Freya. There he was asking her what the price was for the skirts and wasn't even concerned for her and... "Ahhm.. Ten silver," she said her tone had this strange disconnected tone of confusion to it.

Freya leaned in, arms up in the air again, and she hissed out quietly.

"We'll pay seven."
